  Hello. I'm starting with Python coming from java. I was wondering if there exists something similar to JavaDoc API where I can find the class, its methods and and example of how to use it. I've found very helpul to use help( thing ) from the Python ( command line ) I have found this also: http://docs.python.org/ http://docs.python.org/modindex.html But it seems to help when you already the class name you are looking for. In JavaDoc API I have all the classes so if I need something I scroll down to a class that "sounds like" what I need. Or some times I just browse all the classes to see what they do, and when I need a feature my brain recalls me We saw something similar in the javadoc remember!? But I don't seem to find the similar in Python ( yet ) and that why I'm posting this questin. BTW I know that I would eventually will read this: http://docs.python.org/lib/lib.html But, well, I think it is not today.

• PlayDependencyClassLoader does not find application code

  When a third party dependency attempts to load a class defined in a Play application using Class.forName(className, true, Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader()); Play will throw a ClassNotFoundException because the context class loader is of type PlayDependencyClassLoader which apparently only contains classes defined in jar dependencies. Caused by: java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: eventstore.Commit at org.mapdb.SerializerPojo.classForName(SerializerPojo.java:96) at org.mapdb.SerializerPojo$1.deserialize(SerializerPojo.java:74) at org.mapdb.SerializerPojo$1.deserialize(SerializerPojo.java:39) This only occurs when Play is started with play run. Starting Play with play start loads the class correctly. It would be a shame to sacrifice the class hot-swapping because of this behavior. Is there a known workaround?

• Problem on IE6-8 with jQuery

  Hello guys, I'm stuck here with this IE6 issue.. always a pain. So I'm using jQuery's "live" feature to add a product each time. Then once each dropdown's value is changed, an input field assigned to it changes its value too so when I hit submit, it sends all the info. Everything works perfectly fine except in IE6, IE7, and IE8. I have no idea why... I've gone through the code and everything... so please guys. • Grails and PermGen issue with g:link and g:render

  I've been running grails for sometime without any issues but recently after an upgrade to Grails 1.1.1, I've encountered the dreaded PermGen errors. Prior to the upgrade, no such issue. The error seems to be happening when the <g:link> and <g:render> tags are used in a GSP although I'm not sure it's indicative that this is the issue but more of the fact that it ran out of space when these tags were being rendered. Typically, everyone who encounters PermGen errors recommend increasing your java environment options -- but what maybe the source of the issue? Is it a Grails 1.1/hibernate/spring problem?   Dear All: Using the following code: @Entity @Table(uniqueConstraints=[@UniqueConstraint(columnNames=["account","name"])]) class Friend { @Id @GeneratedValue(strategy=GenerationType.AUTO) public Long id @ManyToOne public Account account public String href public String name } I get the following error: org.hibernate.AnnotationException: Unable to create unique key constraint (account, name) on table Friend: account not found It seems this has to do with the @ManyToOne constraint, which I imagine actually creates a separate UniqueConstraint??? In any case, if I take this out, there is no complaint about the UniqueConstraint, but there is another error which makes me believe it must be left in. org.hibernate.MappingException: Could not determine type for: com.mksoft.fbautomate.domain.Account, at table: Friend, for columns: [org.hibernate.mapping.Column(account)] Any hints how I can create such a desired constraint (i.e., that each combination of account and name occurs only once???)   Here's what I'm trying to do using the Wikipedia (MediaWiki) API - http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php Do a GET on http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?format=xml&action=opensearch&search=[keyword] to retrieve a list of suggested pages for the keyword Loop through each suggested page using a GET on http://en.wikipedia.org/w/api.php?format=json&action=query&export&titles=[page title] Extract any paragraphs found on the page into an array Do something with the array I'm stuck on #3. I can see a bunch of JSON data that includes "\n\n" between paragraphs, but for some reason the PHP explode() function doesn't work. Essentially I just want to grab the "meat" of each Wikipedia page (not titles or any formatting, just the content) and break it by paragraph into an array. Any ideas? Thanks!

When I call context.Response.Redirect(@"http://www.myRedirect.org");the correct page is shown but also the address is shown in the browser. And that is exactly what I do not want.   I'm doing a study on large Java projects and would like to view the source code for Eclipse. I have gone to this url (http://wiki.eclipse.org/index.php/CVS_Howto) and figured that the most useful cvs repository for me to look at would be this one: :pserver:[email protected]:/cvsroot/eclipse (The Eclipse platform project) However, when looking at this repository, it has so many modules! Which modules should I be trying to check out? I don't necessarily want to build the IDE from source, however, I just want to get the core Eclipse code base to perform some analysis. Would I just check out any modules starting with "org.eclipse..."? Should I be checking out any of the others? Or is there an easier way to get the source? I read somewhere that you can get the source from the binary version of Eclipse but I am unsure where to find the source.

  I have a column in a PostgreSql database that is defined with type boolean[]. I wish to map this to a Java entity property using Hibernate 3.3.x. However, I cannot find a suitable Java type that Hibernate is happy to map to. I thought that the java.lang.Boolean[] would be the obvious choice, but Hibernate complains: Caused by: org.hibernate.HibernateException: Wrong column type in schema.table for column mycolumn.   I am trying to determine if a qualification exists on http://www.accreditedqualifications.org.uk in the form: http://www.accreditedqualifications.org.uk/qualification/50084811.seo.aspx 50084811 being a qualification aim entered by the end user. If they enter an invalid one e.g. http://www.accreditedqualifications.org.uk/qualification/50084911.seo.aspx They are redirected to an error page (with incorrect http headers as far as I can see). Is there a way to detect the redirect in C#. I would hope to be able to detect the redirect in http headers (thinking it will issue 2) or similar as oppose to having to download the whole page. This could be happening a lot so I would like to minimize traffic.

  In my grails application, I want to display all the current entries of the second-level cache from all regions. In that case, an exception is thrown : java.lang.ClassCastException: org.hibernate.cache.QueryKey cannot be cast to org.hibernate.cache.CacheKey Having googling around, I didn't find any clues about how to display the list of entries of the cached query result sets associated with regions StandardQueryCache and UpdateTimestampsCache. • Maven Release Plugin with JAXB issues

  Hiya, We've got a project set up to use the Maven Release Plugin which includes a phase that unpacks a JAR of XML schemas pulled from Artifactory and a phase that generates XJC classes. We're on maven release 2.2.1. Unfortunately the latter phase is executing before the former which means that it isn't generating the XJC classes for the schema. It uses Servlet 3.0 Asynchronous Processing. Some of this is poorly done, but I'm just trying stuff out at the moment.
