  • jQuery Form plugin - no data from file upload?

    I've been struggling a bit with the jQuery Form plugin. I want to create a file upload form that posts the data (JSON, from the chosen file) into a REST service exposed by a servlet. The URL for the POST is calculated from what the user chooses in a SELECT dropdown. When the upload is complete, I want to notify the user immediately, AJAX-style. The problem is that the POST header has a Content-Length of 0 and contains no data.   • Removing the Google Maps API Premier Terms-of-Use/Logo/etc. links?

    Hi, is it legal to remove the logo/terms of use link displayed on my integrated google map (google maps premier)? The problem is that when I zoom into the map, the link tends to get longer and loger and overlays the whole website which is pretty ugly. Of course it is possible to give the div container a "overflow: hidden;" flag which helps a little. But it is still not satisfying. Thx

    In more details: I want to build a web service to which users register and by browsing my site, users can send blog posts to their own blogs. Initially wordpress.org is discussed. However, I'll be happy to hear solutions for typepad or wordpress.com as well. The ideal solution would be a way for my server to simply "tell" their blog what to post (as a draft of course for them to confirm). A good solution would be for my users to install a plugin in their blog that will allow my server the above functionality. Lacking any other solution, I would give my users text to copy-paste into their blog editor. Help me find a solution and feel free to be creative!

    Hi, I want to validate my inputs but i can't make it work : nothing appear on the page. My project is in java 5, so no JSR303 (@Valid). My only solution, if i'm not mistaken, is to use BindingResult.   • How to automate login to Google API to get OAuth 2.0 token to access known user account

    Ok, so this question has been asked before here. In the response/answer to the question, the user tells him to store the token in the application (session and not db, although it doesn't matter where you store it). After going through the documentation on Google, it seems that the token has an expiration date after which it is no longer valid. Now, we could obviously automatically refresh the token every fixed interval, thereby prolonging the lifespan of the token, but for some reason, this manual process feels like a hack. My questions is: Is this most effective (/generally accepted) way to access google calendar/app data for a known user account by manually logging in and persisting the token in the application? Or is there another mechanism that allows us to programmatically login to this user account and go through the OAuth steps?

  • On activate does not fire with my Modal/Pop-Up form to Requery

    I have a modal/pop-up form frmEditContact open on this form there is a combo box full of addressescmbAddressList, populated by a query. when the user wants to add an address that doesn't exist there is a button that opens the frmAddress where they may add an address. frmAddress allows them to enter an address to the list and gives the option to save, or cancel (both actions close the form after). with this form closed, the focus is now again on frmEditContact I would like to repopulate the combo box using docmd.Requery cmbAddressList after they close the other form I'm not sure where to handle this, I've tried On Avtivate, On Load, On Update, On Open, On Focus...but none of them fire as I keep the frmEditContact open when they are using the other form is there a way to keep frmEditContact open the whole time, but still an action Event that will fire so that I can Requery? And does On Activate not work with modal forms?

  • Processing variable number of form fields

    I am working on a form which displays information about orders. Each order has a unique id, but they are not necessarily sequential on the form. Also, the number of fields can vary (one field per row on the form). The input into the form will not be mapped straight into the database, but will be added to the current value in the database, and then saved. An example of the form is in the picture below - the callout on the right shows the id for each row. I know how to generate the form like this, but I can't work out how I can easily process each of these rows reliably. I also know how to give each of the fields a unique identifier, like name="row-23", but how can I translate that name so that I can update the related record in the database?

    I'm running an classified ads website and I'm charging a specific fee for each ad placed. As you may know paypal charges a specific percent for each transaction + a specific amount fee (e.g 2,9% + 0.30 cents) . I have customers who place about 30 ads per month therefore I would like to integrate a schema that would cut the specific amount fee . Basically I'm looking to make "pre-approve" call every time after the client place an ad to make sure that he has the money to pay and at the end of the month to cancel all the scheduled pre-approved transactions and make a single payment request with the whole amount. The question that I have is : Will I be charged for the pre-approved transactions that I cancel ?

    I have an InfoPath form that requires workflow. The form is build from a cXML schema in BizTalk,then dropped into a forms library for workflow. The user opens the infopath form, reviews and picks one of several options: re-submit, archive, escalate, etc. My question is how best to workflow this? Do you have the buttons on the form update a status/action field, and have the workflow listen for an onChange event? Can you update a property on the library, that is not a field on the form? for example, if status is not part of the form schema, but is a column on the document library. How do ye typically do this? thanks.

What I would like to do, if when I go back through older TFS check-ins in VS and edit a check-in note, the plugin would process that event and create an external ticket retroactively.     Hi I want to create contact form with SSL. I have created simple asp.net contact form without ssl and now i must add it. It is in Sharrepoint project but seems to be the same case as in asp.net form. I have anonymous webapplication and won't be any login usecase, so whole webapplication must work via http:// but when user go to contact form, it must work via https:// I know how to do the redirect to https:// programatically, I've been searching how to configure SSL on IIS but it seems to not be the case?? I don't wont whole webappliation to work via https, only my contact form - how to do that and how o onfigure that? The data from my form will be passed to database, but it is not important here.

  • Showing div based on filled form field

    I have this script where I use a slider to show some elements of a form. So far so good. The way I'm doing it is by having a slider (can't use a multistep form since it uses a plugin not allowing multistep forms, plus some graphic behaviors) and a button that goes to the next slider. So now I need that button (not part of the form) to show only if a certain field is filled. I tried teh following, but it's not working, I assume some error but can't figure what.
