    How can I fill (not replace) TAB with Spaces in MS Office Word? In other word, have a look at the following pic: 1 -> 222 -> 3 111 -> 2 -> 333 11 -> 22 -> 33 11 -> 2222 -> 3333 Suppose that - is indicated one TAB. As you see, each column is justified from left. I need to fill each TAB with Spaces, so that the justification not be confused. If I use 'Find & Replace' option to change each TABs to a specific number of Spaces, justification will be confused because each column have its own character number. In other word, if I change each TAB with 6 Spaces, the above will be changed to the follow: 1 222 3 111 2 333 11 22 33 11 2222 3333 My need is as follow (each dot indicate a Space): 1......222......3 111....2........333 11.....22.......33 11.....2222.....3333

  • Validation Summary for Lists using Data Annotations with MVC

    I currently use a custom method to display validation error messages for lists but would like to replace this system for using with Data Annotations. In summary on validation of my form, I want to display "*" next to each input that is incorrect and also provide a Validation Summary at the bottom that relates each error message to the particular item in the list. e.g. say if validation failed on the 2nd list item on a Name input box and the 4th item on an Address input box the validation summary would display [2] Name is invalid [4] Address is invalid Please ignore if there are mistakes in the code below. I'm just writing this as an example.   • How do I call up values in PHP for user input in forms (radio buttons and selects)

    Ok so my admin sets to edit a book which was created. I know how to bring in the values that were initially entered via a simple text field like 'bookname'. On the edit book page the book name field stores the currently assigned 'bookname' in the field (which is what I want! :) ) However I have other field types like selects and radio button entries...I'm having trouble calling in the already set value when the book was created. For example, there is a 'booklevel' field, which I have set as radio button entries as; Hard, Normal, and Easy. When the user goes to edit the book, I'm not too sure on how to have the current value drawn up (its stored as text) and the radio button being checked. I.e. 'Normal' is checked if this is what was set when the book was created. I have the drop down select field display the currently set user (to read the book!), however, the drop down menu again displays the user in the list available options to select - basically meaning 2 of the same names appear in the list! Is there a way to eliminate the value of the SELECTED option? Even when I call the validate method against each closedUserAnswer/openUserAnswer I still only get one per type. Here are my errors.   • JQuery Checkbox with Textbox Validation

    I am using Jorn's validation plugin. I have a a group of checkboxes beside a group of textboxes. The textboxes are disabled by default and will enable when the matching checkbox is checked. At least 1 checkbox has to be checked which is not a problem. However, when I check more than 2 checkboxes only 1 textbox validates. I've created a handful of modules before, one on the admin page at the dashboard that is on the right side that you click to expand/collapse.     I have a problem with a bound user control writing back to it's datasource on a NetCF forms application. The application is too complex to post code, so I made a toy version to show you. I create a form, usercontrol with a combobox, a class (testBind) and another class (TestLookup). I bind a property of the usercontrol ("value") to a property ("selectedValue") on the testBind class. The testBind class implements INotifyPropertyChanged. I create a few fascade methods on the user control to bind the contained combobox to a BindingList(of TestLookup). I create a button to show the value of the testBind bound property (in a MessageBox). The messagebox returns "-1" every time regardless of the combobox entry selected. I can take the EXACT same code, paste it in a full framework Forms app and it will return the correct value of the selected combobox entry. This is part of a Content Management System and the users do not know how to resize photos, so I need to resize the image to a set size after it is uploaded. How can this be done with PHP?     I am trying to implement validation using IDataErrorInfo or INotifyDataErrorInfo but either way I am struggling to make it work only once user start entering data or clicking save button. Since I am using MVVM, I am setting my view's datacontext to ViewModel and my ViewModel is implementing IDataErrorInfo / INotifyDataErrorInfo. I need to make sure validation happens but not when form loads up. Anyone has got any suggestion how I can implement? Thanks

I noticed however, that if I copy and paste from the first password field to the other, the values are not same. It seems my Firefox running on Mac OS X, copies the asterisk graphic instead, which has the value '\x95' Is it possible to copy the underlying text from the password field? Thanks

  • Odd behavior in Django Form (readonly field/widget)

    I'm having a problem with a test app I'm writing to verify some Django functionality. The test app is a small "grade book" application that is currently using Alex Gaynor's readonly field functionality http://lazypython.blogspot.com/2008/12/building-read-only-field-in-django.html There are 2 problems which may be related. First, when I flop the comment on these 2 lines below: # myform = GradeForm(data=request.POST, instance=mygrade) myform = GradeROForm(data=request.POST, instance=mygrade) it works like I expect, except of course that the student field is changeable. When the comments are the shown way, the "studentId" field is displayed as a number (not the name, problem 1) and when I hit submit I get an error saying that studentId needs to be a Student instance. I'm at a loss as to how to fix this. I'm not wedded to Alex Gaynor's code. ANY code will work.     I have a site and I am using this plugin for validation in the registration process. I have seen sites where when you exit the email address field, it goes out and checks to see if the email address exists before you hits the submit button. I know this is ajax but I cannot figure it out. How do you validate if an email address (or any field) already exists before the users submits the form?

  • recaptcha still submits form when one word invalid

    Um so I was in for a little bit of a surprise tonight. I spent a good 20 mins trying to figure out why I was able to submit a form knowing that what I entered into the recaptcha field was invalid. Is it true that you don't need to input the exact words it displays? If it shows me two words and I misspelled one of the words, I still pass validation? Same goes if "hello world" and I input "hell man" it still works.
