    i looked at the example from the iphone dev: http://developer.apple.com/iphone/library/samplecode/Scrolling/index.html everything looks cool except that for 5 image they set the "const NSUInteger kNumImages = 5;" what happens is that what if i have 1000 images?and i wan to view it without having to change the number everytime?also if i will to set the number to 1000 and i have only 10 images then in the simulator the user can scroll "blank view" till it reaches count 1000! help please..thanks

Many rows later... ... 185352 03-09-2012 Apple Ian Washers Tap Ltd 600 £80 I need to calculate a large set of targets from table containing values different types, target table is under my control and so far is like: TargetID Year Month Salesperson Target_Type Quantity 1 2012 7 Ian 1 6000 2 2012 8 James 2 2000 3 2012 9 Ian 2 6500 At present I am working out target types using a view of the first table which has a lot of extra columns: SELECT YEAR(Date) , MONTH(Date) , Salesperson , Quantity , CASE WHEN Manufacturer IN ('Tap Ltd','Hats Inc') AND Product_Type = 'Hats' THEN True ELSE False END AS IsType1 , CASE WHEN Manufacturer = 'Hats Inc' AND Product_Type IN ('Hats','Coats') THEN True ELSE False END AS IsType2 ... ... , CASE WHEN Manufacturer IN ('Tap Ltd','Hats Inc') AND Product_Type = 'Hats' THEN True ELSE False END AS IsType24 , CASE WHEN Manufacturer IN ('Tap Ltd','Hats Inc') AND Product_Type = 'Hats' THEN True ELSE False END AS IsType25 FROM SalesTable WHERE [some stuff here] This is horrible to read/debug and I hate it!! I've tried a few different ways of simplifying this but have been unable to get it to work. The closest I have come is to have a third table holding the definition of the types with the values for each field and the type number, this can be joined to the tables to give me the full values but I can't work out a way to cope with multiple values for each field. Finally the question: Is there a standard way this can be done or an easier/neater method other than one column for each type of target? I know this is a complex problem so if anything is unclear please let me know. Edit - What I need to get: At the very end of the process I need to have targets displayed with actual sales: Type Year Month Salesperson TargetQty ActualQty 2 2012 8 James 2000 2809 2 2012 9 Ian 6500 6251 Each row of the sales table could potentially satisfy 8 of the types. Some more points: I have 5 different columns that need to be defined against the targets (or set to NULL to include any value) I have between 30 and 40 different types that need to be defined, several of the columns could contain as many as 10 different values For point 2, if I am using a row for each permutation of values, 2 columns with 10 values each would give me 100 rows for each sales person for each month which is a lot but if this is the only way to define multiple values I will have to do this.     Hey everyone, I am a little confused after reading this thread on the revisions to the iPhone Developer Agreement. While it lists the languages that are permitted, I don't understand what classifies as falling under what is banned. Does this include wrapper classes? What if the code is written in Objective C but is not an official Apple class/library? I'm wondering about things like: Three20 from Facebook SQLite Wrappers such as this one Charting / Graphing Libraries If anyone could clarify this, I'd greatly appreciate it.

  • Safari extensions: style of selectbox like safari's bookmark folders

    Hey guys, I'm developing an extension for Safari 5 at the moment. In my extension, I use an additional toolbar, with selectboxes in it. Now, it would be great to style these like the folders in the bookmarks toolbar look. I know that it would be possible to replace my select with a completely styleable ul-list or somethin like that, but maybe there is a simpler solution.   • Creating a bundle - What's going wrong?

    Hello everyone, I've got a relatively simple one here. I'm making bundles to live inside the Resources folder of my application (and possibly in the Application Support folder). These bundles will contain template information for the data the application handles. I've constructed a bundle, with extension "booksprintstyle", and the directory structure is up to spec. I have an Info.plist all set and I think I've filled in all the values I need to. Do I need to change something in my App to have these folders-with-extensions recognized as bundle files, or am I missing something in my bundle structure? I noticed that some bundles have a file called PkgInfo; is that important?     I've been looking at implementing the new VerificationController to verify in-App-Purchases: http://developer.apple.com/library/ios/#releasenotes/StoreKit/IAP_ReceiptValidation/_index.html And I wonder if there is some example anywhere en how to validate a transaction, since it seems that the - (BOOL)verifyPurchase:(SKPaymentTransaction *)transaction; is not enough and it has to be implemented internally to verify the purchase when the data form the server is received. Another question is if anyone has a clue on what the KNOWN_TRANSACTIONS_KEY is and how to fill it, is it just the product id of the purchase?

    For example, these are valid math expressions: a * b + c -a * (b / 1.50) (apple + (-0.5)) * (boy - 1) And these are invalid math expressions: --a *+ b @ 1.5.0 // two consecutive signs, two consecutive operators, invalid operator, invalid number -a * b + 1) // unmatched parentheses a) * (b + c) / (d // unmatched parentheses I have no problem with matching float numbers, but have difficulty with parentheses matching. Any idea? If there is better solution than regular expression, I'll accept as well. But regex is preferred.

  • creating a new distribution profile for a application after deleting it from iphone??

    i created a distribution profile of my application,installed and tested it on my iphone and uploaded the binary to app store...due to some usual reasons apple rejected it and asked me to make a few changes...meanwhile i deleted the application from my iphone...now when i reinstall it says valid provisioning profile is not present so will i have to repeat the whole process of making a distribution profile and then upload it to the store...provisional profile cannot change so should i create the new distribution profile with the same one and delete the old distribution profile i made??
