  • jquery set focus on dynamic content?

    - by Alan
    In jquery I've appended a <li> element to an unordered list. How do I focus on the newly created <li> ? If I do the following: $("ul").append('<li><input type="text">hi!</input></li>'); $("li:last").focus(); //doesn't work because new <li> isn't in dom yet the focus doesn't work, as noted above. I know jquery 1.4.2 has a live() event handler which allows you load event handlers to dynamically added elements, but I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong: $(document).ready(function () { $('li').live('load', function () { alert("hi!"); $("li:last").focus(); }); });

  • BitmapFactory.decodeStream returning null when options are set.

    - by Robert Foss
    Hi! I'm having issues with BitmapFactory.decodeStream(). When using it without options, it will return an image. But when I use it with options as in .decodeStream(inputStream, null, options) it never returns Bitmaps. What I'm trying to do is to downsample a Bitmap before I actually load it to save memory. I've read some good guides, but none using .decodeStream. Here httpIM:NOT//nornalbion.SPAMcom/blog/?p=143 httpIM:NOT//kfb-android.blogspot.SPAMcom/2009/04/image-processing-in-android.html WORKS JUST FINE InputStream is = connection.getInputStream(); Bitmap img = BitmapFactory.decodeStream(is, null, options); DOESNT WORK InputStream is = connection.getInputStream(); Options options = new BitmapFactory.Options(); options.inJustDecodeBounds = true; BitmapFactory.decodeStream(is, null, options); Boolean scaleByHeight = Math.abs(options.outHeight - TARGET_HEIGHT) >= Math.abs(options.outWidth - TARGET_WIDTH); if(options.outHeight * options.outWidth * 2 >= 200*100*2){ // Load, scaling to smallest power of 2 that'll get it <= desired dimensions double sampleSize = scaleByHeight ? options.outHeight / TARGET_HEIGHT : options.outWidth / TARGET_WIDTH; options.inSampleSize = (int)Math.pow(2d, Math.floor( Math.log(sampleSize)/Math.log(2d))); System.out.println("Samplesize: " + options.inSampleSize); } // Do the actual decoding options.inJustDecodeBounds = false; //options.inTempStorage = new byte[IMG_BUFFER_LEN]; Bitmap img = BitmapFactory.decodeStream(is, null, options);

  • autoresizingMask changes the size of the UILabel being drawn, just by being set

    - by Kojiro
    I have some custom UITableViewCells that are made programmatically as needed, I want these to resize. However, when I add autoresizingMasks to the UILabels in the cells, they all seem to stretch wider while anchoring to the left side. // This works fine UILabel *aField = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(60, 2, tableView.frame.size.width - 83, 21)]; UILabel *bField = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(60, 20, tableView.frame.size.width - 154, 21)]; UILabel *cField = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(0, 2, tableView.frame.size.width, 21)]; UILabel *dField = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(tableView.frame.size.width - 116, 11, 93, 21)]; UILabel *eField = [[UILabel alloc] initWithFrame:CGRectMake(tableView.frame.size.width - 116, 11, 93, 21)]; // But when I add this, it draws like the tableview is actually much wider than it really is aField.autoresizingMask = UIViewAutoresizingFlexibleWidth; bField.autoresizingMask = carrierField.autoresizingMask; cField.autoresizingMask = UIViewAutoresizingFlexibleWidth; dField.autoresizingMask = UIViewAutoresizingFlexibleLeftMargin; eField.autoresizingMask = priceField.autoresizingMask; So when the bottom section of code doesn't exist, everything works as expected, but when it does, a lot of the labels start falling off the right side or being stretched to where their centers are far to the right. Am I overlooking something simple?

  • Reuse another ASP.NET session (set Session ID)

    - by queen3
    My problem is that when I open web application from Outlook in a separate IE window, the ASP.NET session is lost. This is (as described in several places) because in-memory cookie is lost. So it goes like this: User works with ASP.NET web application in Outlook, and this stores some info in ASP.NET session User clicks Print to open new IE window with print-ready data The new window has different ASP.NET session ID and can't access old data. I think, maybe, if I pass ASP.NET session ID to new IE window, I can somehow "attach" to that session? Tell ASP.NET that this is the one that I need to be current?

  • Set attributes from dictionary in python

    - by Oscar Reyes
    Is it possible to create an object from a dictionary in python in such a way that each key is an attribute of that object? Something like this: dict = { 'name': 'Oscar', 'lastName': 'Reyes', 'age':32 } e = Employee( dict ) print e.name # Oscar print e.age + 10 # 42 I think it would be pretty much the inverse of this question: Python dictionary from an object's fields

  • Facebook API: Set User Status with "@mentions" integration

    - by JWD
    StackOverflow'ers, I realize the new "@mentions" is a very new feature to facebook, but can any of you think of how to access this feature using the Facebook API? I would assume there would need to be a separate call to get a list of available users/applications/ect... I am just brainstorming here, I realize this may not be possible yet. Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!

  • Maintain set of local commits working with git-svn

    - by benizi
    I am using git to develop against a project hosted in subversion, using git-svn: git svn clone svn://project/ My general workflow has been to repeatedly edit-and-commit on the master branch, then commit to the svn repository via: git stash git svn dcommit git stash apply One of the local modifications that 'stash' command is preserving, that I don't want to commit to the svn repository, is a changed database connection string. What's the most convenient way to keep this local change without the extra 'stash' steps? I suspect that something like 'stash' or 'quilt' is what I'm looking for, but I'm still new enough to git that I think I'm missing some terminology that would lead to the exact incantation. Update: The only solution I found that seems to avoid the git stash + git-svn action + git stash apply series was to update the git-svn ref manually: (check in local-only change to 'master', then...) $ cat .git/refs/master > .git/refs/remote/git-svn $ git svn fetch (with at least one new SVN revision) And that leaves the local-only commit as a weird (probably unsafe) commit between two svn revisions.

It tryes to find jni4net.j-0.7.1.0.jar near the jni4net.n-0.7.1.0.dll and can't. So I get next error... c:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727\Temporary ASP.NET Files\fileprocessingservice\76f0fa69\5db44426\assembly\dl3\4fa263c6\f424b7fa_c8ccca01\jni4net.j-0.7.1.0.DLL Anybody know how to solve the problem? • SubmitChanges doesn't save but removes inserts from change set, no errors

    - by winston schröder
    Hi Everybody, I have a deeper question regarding debug functionality of Linq to Sql SubmitChanges() Function. I want to save a record in a table of a locally cached db (localdbcache: server SqlExpress 2008 client SqlCE). Before calling SubmitChanges I can find the new item via DataContext.GetChangeSet(). After calling Submit Changes, the items to insert have been removed from the ChangeSet. (That's what this function is supposed to do.) There are no Changes Conflicts and no error in the db's log output. No Exception at all. The table's Count stays at the same value. if ((e.Parameter == null) || (!e.Parameter.GetType().Equals(typeof(LibDB.Client.Vehicles)))) return; LibDB.Client.Vehicles tmp = e.Parameter as LibDB.Client.Vehicles; try { ChangeSet cs = this._dc.GetChangeSet(); if ((tmp == null) || (this._dc == null)) return; if (this._dc.Vehicles.Where(veh => veh.Vin == tmp.Vin).Count() == 0) this._dc.Vehicles.InsertOnSubmit(tmp); else if (this._dc.Vehicles.Where(veh => veh.Vin == tmp.Vin).Count() == 1) this._dc.Vehicles.Attach(tmp, true); else return; using (TransactionScope ts = new TransactionScope()) { try { this._dc.SubmitChanges(); //this._dc.Refresh(RefreshMode.OverwriteCurrentValues, this._dc.Vehicles); } catch (Exception ex) { Console.WriteLine(ex.Message); } } if (this._dc.Vehicles.Where(veh => veh.Vin == tmp.Vin).Count() == 1) MessageBox.Show("Vehicle not saved."); this.vehSelector.ResetLayout(); } I would appreciate any help since I'm loosing hope to find any error, Thanks in Advance Winston

Right now this loads the English version of my text just fine. I have spent the better part of today trying to figure out how to change the binding in my code to swap this out when I needed (lets say when I change the language via drop down). Any help would be great!

  • How to set HTTP Headers from client class inherited from SoapHttpClientProtocol

    - by Alfred
    I'm using a class MyClass inherited from SoapHttpClientProtocol (auto-generated in my project by creating a WebReference from a .wsdl file, representing a service). Before calling a "WebMethod" of this service, I need to custom the http header of my request. I tried overloading the GetWebRequest() method of SoapHttpClientProtocol that way : public partial class MyClass: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapHttpClientProtocol{ protected override WebRequest GetWebRequest(Uri uri) { HttpWebRequest request = (HttpWebRequest)base.GetWebRequest(uri); request.Headers.Add("MyCustomHeader", "MyCustomHeaderValue"); return request; } } I was hoping that GetWebRequest was called in the constructor of MyClass, apparently it's not. Could someone help me ?
