I'm creating a custom class to abstract out some of the repeated SOAP header work. I want to reference a Web Service Reference I just created in my custom class so I can create an instance of it. How do I reference it?
Notice I said I am trying to reference a Web Service "reference" (right click in VS and I added a "Web Service Reference" not a "Web Service"). So I'm trying to create an instance of that Proxy class that was created in MyCustomClass.cs
Hi,
I have a text file that has following content:
ac und
accipio annehmen
ad zu
adeo hinzugehen
...
I read the text file and iterate through the lines:
Scanner sc = new Scanner(new File("translate.txt"));
while(sc.hasNext()){
String line = sc.nextLine();
}
Each line has two words. Is there any method in java to get the next word or do I have to split the line string to get the words?
window.popup = window.open($(this).attr('href'), 'Ad', 'left=20,top=20,width=500,height=500,toolbar=1,resizable=0');
$(window.popup).onload = function()
{
alert("Popup has loaded a page");
};
This doesn't work in any browser I've tried it with (IE, Firefox, Chrome). How can I detect when a page is loaded in the window (like an iframe onload)?
I'm relatively new to both C# and Visual Studio, using XNA Game Studio. All I want to do is take some folders from a current project which contain .cs files and utilise those files in a new project, but it's proving to be a little trickier than I am used to with Flash/ActionScript.
At the moment it seems like I need to use this process over and over until all the files I want are part of the current project:
JID jid = new JID("ad[email protected]"); //success with code
SUCCESS
JID jid = new JID("mycomponent.host.domain.com"); //send fail with
code INVALID_ID ,but when i try send from gmail OR jabber to
mycomponent.host.domain.com . it was a success.
Is this a but in google xmpp api?
Hi..
Just wondering is there any drawbacks to publishing a ASP .NET web application by copying all the files in it? (That means all the .cs, .csproj files will be included in the published folder)
So far I can think that the published folder's total size may become a little bigger (but that a negligible issue for me).
ASP.NET newbie here. When on a page I'd like to set the corresponding menu item to selected. My approach is this:
On Home.aspx.cs:
Menu menu = (Menu)Master.FindControl("Menu1");
if (menu.Items.Count > 0)
{
menu.FindItem("Home").Selected = true;
}
Trouble is, menu.item.count == 0.
My menu is bound to a sitemap, if that matters.
Thanks,
Bill
For a user in active directory, the properties hold values for lastlogontime & lastlogontimestamp but the logoncount is 0. I am having only one domain controller in that domain.
I found from surfing, that logonCount value of 0 indicates that the value is unknown. But I am totally confused with why it is unknown. Is that an issue with AD.
I have seen ASP.NET MVC Without Visual Studio, which asks,
Is it possible to produce a website based on ASP.NET MVC, without using Visual Studio?
And the accepted answer is, yes.
Ok, next question: how?
Here's an analogy. If I want to create an ASP.NET Webforms page, I load up my favorite text editor, create a file named Something.aspx. Then I insert into that file, some boilerplate:
<%@ Page Language="C#"
Debug="true"
Trace="false"
Src="Sourcefile.cs"
Inherits="My.Namespace.ContentsPage"
%>
<html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" xml:lang="en" lang="en">
<head>
<title>Title goes here </title>
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="css/style.css"></link>
<style type="text/css">
#elementid {
font-size: 9pt;
color: Navy;
... more css ...
}
</style>
<script type="text/javascript" language='javascript'>
// insert javascript here.
</script>
</head>
<body>
<asp:Literal Id='Holder' runat='server'/>
<br/>
<div id='msgs'></div>
</body>
</html>
Then I also create the Sourcefile.cs file:
namespace My.Namespace
{
using System;
using System.Web;
using System.Xml;
// etc...
public class ContentsPage : System.Web.UI.Page
{
protected System.Web.UI.WebControls.Literal Holder;
void Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e)
{
// page load logic here
}
}
}
And that is a working ASPNET page, created in a text editor. Drop it into an IIS virtual directory, and it's working.
What do I have to do, to make a basic, hello, World ASPNET MVC app, in a text editor? (without Visual Studio)
I am using the GPC Polygon Clipping lib (http://www.cs.man.ac.uk/~toby/alan/software) and want to create a polygon programatically. I only see code for how to create one from a file. How can I do the initialization in my code?
I have a c# proyect that I need to change its product name upon compiling. I used the prebuild event to change it in the AssemblyInfo.cs but a few times visual studio doesnt get this change and compiles it with the previous product name. So i prefer to change it after compiling from another executable (all in c#)
Hi,
The Business Application Template in Silverlight 4.0 generates authentication and user management (add user) features. Where is the info stored ? I presume it goes back to the server and then I have my pick on the server side - AD, LDAP, SQL Server, etc. ? Is this correct ?
Thanks,
Scott
Hi all,
I'd like to add my custom control into a template column of data grid.
The custom control is very similar to a text box, but has an icon in it. The user can click the icon, and selects an item from a prompted window, then the selected item will be filled into the text box.
My problem is when the text box is filled, after I click the second column, the text will disappear. If I replace the custom control with a simple text box, the result is the same.
Here is the sample code:
//Employee.cs
using System;
using System.Collections.Generic;
using System.Linq;
using System.Text;
namespace SimpleGridTest
{
public class Employee
{
public string Department { get; set; }
public int ID { get; set; }
public string Name { get; set; }
}
}
Mainwindow.xaml
<Window x:Class="SimpleGridTest.MainWindow"
xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml/presentation"
xmlns:x="http://schemas.microsoft.com/winfx/2006/xaml"
Title="MainWindow" Height="350" Width="525">
<Grid>
<DataGrid x:Name="grid" Grid.Row="1" Margin="5" AutoGenerateColumns="False"
RowHeight="25" RowHeaderWidth="10"
ItemsSource="{Binding}"
CanUserAddRows="True" CanUserSortColumns="False">
<DataGrid.Columns>
<DataGridTemplateColumn Header="Department" Width="150">
<DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate>
<DataTemplate>
<TextBox Text="{Binding Department}" />
</DataTemplate>
</DataGridTemplateColumn.CellTemplate>
</DataGridTemplateColumn>
<DataGridTextColumn Header="ID" Binding="{Binding Path=ID}"
Width="100"/>
<DataGridTextColumn Header="Name"
Binding="{Binding Path=Name}"
Width="200"/>
</DataGrid.Columns>
</DataGrid>
</Grid>
</Window>
MainWindow.xaml.cs
using System.Windows;
using System.Collections.ObjectModel;
namespace SimpleGridTest
{
/// <summary>
/// Interaction logic for MainWindow.xaml
/// </summary>
public partial class MainWindow : Window
{
private ObservableCollection<Employee> _employees = new ObservableCollection<Employee>();
public ObservableCollection<Employee> Employees
{
get { return _employees; }
set { _employees = value; }
}
public MainWindow()
{
InitializeComponent();
grid.ItemsSource = Employees;
}
}
}
How can I fix this problem? Or I need to write a DataGrid***Column as DataGridTextColumn? Thanks in advance!
Best Regards,
Johnson
Hi,Friends..
I want to know basic difference between iPhone and o{ad.
I am a junior developer at an iPhone development company. Still I am new to this.
And also how does Iphone/Ipad technology differ from other technology?
Does AMQP has any advantages over an ad-hoc implementation for a simple stats gathering scenario? It works like this - clients send events (more than we care to put into persistent storage) to (several) web workers, the workers aggrregate them and write to a single database. I don't think I should consider using AMQP for this because I'll still need web workers to receive events from clients through HTTP and to publish them. Am I missing something?
Using Ruby LDAP running on Linux, I can create a new Active Directory user account without a problem. Now I want to be rename a user account username. When I try to change the sAMAccountName, it doesn't work. Is it possible to change an AD user account using Ruby LDAP? If so, how?
I'm trying to implement a class in C# with a method that intercepts the Python __setattr__ and __getattr__ magic methods. I found this bug report:
http://ironpython.codeplex.com/WorkItem/View.aspx?WorkItemId=8143
But that is from 2008, and nowhere can I find ICustomAttributes or PythonNameAttribute. I don't see anything useful in Interfaces.cs either. Can someone point me in the right direction?
I'd to use DW cs 4 but before to buy I want to test javascript code hints.
However that feature doesn't work at all.
I have an external .js library and then into an html file I load it
but when I type functions or object by name nothing happen.
Any idea?
Hi,
I want to be able to monitor the performance(load time of the entire page, load times of individually downloaded js/cs files , amount of memory used by the browser for the page,etc) of my web application from the perspective of the user(i.e the browser client).
Is there any tool/plugin , that can help me monitor all of these?
I have a roads layer.
I need to ad a point to another, point layer where ever roads intersect.
How can I add such points to the existing points layer.
In hand I have the line layer, the line feature / To and From Points, and the points layer.
I just need a pointer as to how to create points in the points layer.
I am using C#
Thank you.
Ok, this is another one in the theory realm for the CS guys around.
In the 90's I did fairly well in implementing BST's. The only thing I could bever get my head around was the intricacy of the algorithm to balance a Binary Tree (AVL).
Can you guys help me on this?
It is easy enough to create a command from my OnLoaded() event
handler code, but how do I call it from the View?
<window Loaded="onLoaded"> doesn't cut the cake anymore since
it calls code in the xaml.cs. How would I create an ICommand
equivalent?
