    ello Everyone, I am new to using apache logger . I have downloaded the log4j-xx and i have the following text configuration file Set root logger level to DEBUG and its only appender to mainFormat. log4j.rootLogger = TRACE, mainFormat, FILE mainFormat is set to be a ConsoleAppender. log4j.appender.mainFormat=org.apache.log4j.ConsoleAppender mainFormat uses PatternLayout. log4j.appender.mainFormat.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.mainFormat.layout.ConversionPattern=%d [%t] %-5p %c - %m%n File makes a file of the output. log4j.appender.FILE=org.apache.log4j.FileAppender log4j.appender.FILE.File=log4j_HAPR001_OutputFile.log log4j.appender.FILE.layout=org.apache.log4j.PatternLayout log4j.appender.FILE.layout.ConversionPattern=%d [%t] %-5p %c - %m%n i use the above config file to create the log file.   • Linking the Linker script file to source code

    Hello , I am new to GNU compiler. I have a C source code file which contains some structures and variables in which I need to place certain variables at a particular locations. So, I have written a linker script file and used the __ attribute__("SECTION") at variable declaration, in C source code. I am using a GNU compiler (cygwin) to compile the source code and creating a .hex file using -objcopy option, but I am not getting how to link my linker script file at compilation to relocate the variables accordingly. I am attaching the linker script file and the C source file for the reference.   • What options to parse a DTD using PHP

    I need to parse DTDs using PHP and am hoping there's a simple library to help out. Each DTD has numerous <!ENTITY... and <!-- Comment... elements, which I need to act upon. Note that I do not need to validate anything against these DTDs, simply parse them as data files themselves. A few options I've looked at: James Clarke's SD, which is an option of last resort, but I'd like to avoid the complexity of building/installing/configuring code external to PHP. I'm not sure it's even possible in my situation. PEAR has an XML_DTD_Parser, which requires installing/configuring PEAR and a number of pear modules, which I'm also not sure is possible, and would rather avoid. Has anyone used it with success? PHP XML Classes has the class_path_parser, which another site suggested, but it fails to read ENTITY elements. It appears to be using PHP's built in XML parsing capabilities, which use EXPAT. PHP's DOMDocument will validate against a DTD, so must be able to read them, though I don't see how to get at the DTD parser directly at first glance.

  • More GCC link time issues: undefined reference to main

    Hi Guys, I'm writing software for a Cortex-A8 processor and I have to write some ARM assembly code to access specific registers. I'm making use of the gnu compilers and related tool chains, these tools are installed on the processor board(Freescale i.MX515) with Ubuntu. I make a connection to it from my host PC(Windows) using WinSCP and the PuTTY terminal. As usual I started with a simple C project having main.c and functions.s. I compile the main.c using GCC, assemble the functions.s using as and link the generated object files using once again GCC, but I get strange errors during this process. An important finding - Meanwhile, I found out that my assembly code may have some issues because when I individually assemble it using the command as -o functions.o functions.s and try running the generated functions.o using ./functions.o command, the bash shell is failing to recognize this file as an executable(on pressing tab functions.o is not getting selected/PuTTY is not highlighting the file). Can anyone suggest whats happening here? Are there any specific options I have to send, to GCC during the linking process? The errors I see are strange and beyond my understanding, I don't understand to what the GCC is referring. I'm pasting here the contents of main.c, functions.s, the Makefile and the list of errors.   • PHP Mcrypt - Encrypting / Decrypting file

    Trying to write a couple of functions that will encrypt or decrypt a file and am using the class found here to try and accomplish this: http://www.itnewb.com/v/PHP-Encryption-Decryption-Using-the-MCrypt-Library-libmcrypt The encryption function below seems to work, in that it appears to encrypt the file and place it in the intended directory. I'm trying to decrypt the file now, and it just dies with the message "Failed to complete decryption" (which is coded in there...) There's nothing in the php error logs, so I'm not sure why it's failing, but as mcrypt is entirely new to me, I'm more than inclined to believe I'm doing something wrong here... Now, if in onPrepareOptionsMenu the second menu item gets disabled, its label and icon become gray, but also the icon of the first menu item becomes gray, while the label of that fist menu item stays black and it remains clickable. What is causing this crosstalk between the two icons/drawables? Shouldn't the system handle things like mutate() in this case? I've included a screenshot:

    HI I'd like to know how to check out the speed of a file being uploaded in real time using the curl library in c++. This is what I have written: curl_easy_getinfo(curl,CURLINFO_SPEED_UPLOAD,&c); But the manual says that it shows average speed, but even this doesn't seem to work with me, because I can only see a 0. There is one more thing: How to set an upload limit that works, because if I write this: curl_easy_setopt(curl, CURLOPT_MAX_SEND_SPEED_LARGE, 100); I get an error 502 message plis help

  • Jquery .Show() .Hide() not working as expected

    I'm trying to use the show and hide to display a different set of select options when a certain report type is selected. I have a couple problems with this: The .show .hide only execute properly if I pass params, slow fast, in the the first result of my conditional statement. If I take out the params or pass params in both results, only one select shows and it never changes.. here's is the code that currently kind of works. if ($('#ReportType').val() == 'PbuseExport') { $('#PbuseServices').show('fast'); $('#ReportServiceDropdown').hide('fast'); } else { $('#PbuseServices').hide(); $('#ReportServiceDropdown').show(); } After i've used this control I am taken to a differnt page. When I use the control again, it reatins the original search values and repopulates the control. Then again I only want to show one select option if a certain report is chosen.. This works correctly if the report type I originally searched on is not the "PbuseExport". If I searched on the report type "PbuseExport", then both selects show on the screen, and only until I change the report type does it show only one select. I know this probably isn't very clear..     Hi, There's a class 'Car' with brand and model as properties. I have a list of items of this class List<Car> myCars. I need to represent in a JSP website 2 ComboBox, one for brand and another for model, that when you select the brand, in the model list only appear the ones from that brand. I don't know how to do this in a dynamic way. Any suggestion where to start? Thanks Update Ok, what I do now is send in the request a list with all the brand names, and a list of the items.
