    Hi, I want to choose an image formate for including images in both html and latex. I found that jpeg and png formates are not always working well in latex. Is eps format the best for latex. It seems eps is not supported in html? What other format is good too? Thanks and regards!

    I've read numerous SO posts about Polymorphism, and also the other really good one at http://net.tutsplus.com/tutorials/php/understanding-and-applying-polymorphism-in-php/ Good stuff!!! I'm trying to figure out how a seasoned PHP developer that follows all the best practices would accomplish the following. Please be as specific and detailed as possible. I'm sure your answer is going to help a lot of people!!! :-) While learning Polymorphism, I came across a little stumbling block. Inside of the PDFFormatter class, I had to use (instanceof) in order to figure out if some code should be included in the returned data. I am trying to be able to pass in two different kinds of profiles to the formatter. (needs to be able to handle multiple kinds of formatters but display the data specific to the Profile class that is being passed to it). It doesn't look bad now, but imagine 10 more kinds of Profiles!! How would you do this? The best answer would also include the changes you would make. Thanks sooooooo much in advance!!!!! I need to throw an exception if the user uploads anything other than CSV file. Can anybody let me know how can I find if the uploaded file is a CSV file or not?

I thought of, and tried two solutions: Matching the regular expression .(jpe?g|bmp|png|gif)$ Using ends-with to check each separately But, it appears that neither of these exist in XPath 1.0, or at least, they don't exist in Firefox (I am writing a greasemonkey script, so it is only important for the path to work in Firefox).

    On iOS, I am looking for the proper way to return the URLs for a list of files that are in a directory. /images 1.jpg 2.jpg 3.jpg ... I know the URL for the directory and know all the files in the directory will be of type jpeg. It is not clear to me how to properly format the NSURLRequest to return the list of files in the images directory. Once the list is returned, I will iterate through it to return the individual images.
