  • Facebook: Invalid mark up on FBML

    I am using the W3C XHTML validator to check my sites and I am getting some errors on pages with FBML. Most of the cause of such errors is the "&" character. Since FBML values and attributes are generated on the fly, I have no way to encode the character properly before displaying it. Question: Is there a way for me to tell Facebook Connect to render the mark up properly? Thanks.

    I'm building an open source 2D game engine called YoghurtGum. Right now I'm working on the Android port, using the NDK provided by Google. This compiles fine. That's because it doesn't work. If someone could explain to me where I went wrong in my test or what option or I forgot in my linker, I would be very, extremely grateful. Thanks in advance.     I have this line of PHP code: thisFunctionDoesNotExist(); And it stops script execution with: Fatal error: Call to undefined function I tried using set_error_handler and it does help for warning type of errors. But not for fatal errors. As I understand it from various threads on internet it should be possible to handle by set_error_handler, but I cannot make it work. Can you please post working example?

I have gone over this so many times but are totally stuck of finding a solution. EDIT: The errors is the ouput while compiling with gcc if I didn't make that clear.

In PHP my query is: "confirmation=$confirmation" The problem is that $confirmation = 'AB-CD-EFG-012345'; Apparently the hyphens are causing problems with the query and the exception thrown is: Uncaught exception 'Zend_Gdata_App_HttpException' with message 'Expected response code 200, got 400 Parse error: Invalid token encountered' How can I quote or escape the value to not cause parse errors? Single quotes cause the same error, double quotes don't throw errors but there are no results to match.

  • How can I run a Perl program when I don't have ssh or shell access?

    I just installed an IRC bot, B****X (Don't ask, I don't know - the real name is not censored). I did all of the configuration and chmod'ed the pl files to 755, but running it won't work. My host does not allow SSH/Shell (which is how the documentation says to runs he script), but just going to the URL usually works because of this. However, I get a 500 (Internal Server Error) error.     I am successfully posting a form via ajax, using the following code; $.post( "Page.do?source=ajax", $("#Form").serialize(), function(data){ } The data response that comes back can be alert'd. I can see that it is the HTML of the entire form, having been submitted. But, I am having trouble accessing an element in that form which has come via ajax, ie data.find('.Errors').html() or $('.Errors', data).html() Do I need to somehow convert the text into a DOM which can then be parsed by jQuery?

    I have turned on "Treat warnings as errors" for my VS project which mean that I get errors for missing documentation (nice reminder for this particular project). However, part of the code is generated by a custom tool which does not insert xml documentation so I'm looking for away to ignore the missing xml documentation for the generated code only, not for the entire project. I have no influence on the actual file generated and cannot really insert anything in the file (as it is regenerated frequently by the tool) so I looking for something existing outside the generated file (the classes that are generated are partial, if that helps)

  • SplashScreen covers any MessageBoxes in wxPython?

    I have a SplashScreen shown while my application loads in the background. Unfortunately, if any errors occur during the application's initialisation a MessageBox is shown - but is behind the splash. This prevents the user from seeing the message, and from dismissing it (the only way to quit is through task manager). Q: Is there any way of hiding the SplashScreen if any errors occur, or allowing MessageBoxes to display above it? I am using wxPython 2.8.10.1 with Python 2.6.5 on Windows.

  • jQuery is not defined on my staging server but works fine on my local

    If you pop open this page with your javascript console, you'll notice a bunch of JS errors. I don't get these errors in my local environment and it seems like it is happening because $ is not defined. I have tried to mimic my local environment exactly on staging by using the same environment.rb file and removing all JS caching but it is making no difference. Can anyone tell why jQuery is crapping out? It might be something really stupid, but I need a second pair of eyes.

    I have the following bit of code, however when compiling it with GCC 4.4 with various optimization flags I get some unexpected results when its run. #include <iostream> int main() { const unsigned int cnt = 10; double lst[cnt] = { 0.0 }; const double v[4] = { 131.313, 737.373, 979.797, 731.137 }; for(unsigned int i = 0; i < cnt; ++i) { lst[i] = v[i % 4] * i; } for(unsigned int i = 0; i < cnt; ++i) { double d = v[i % 4] * i; if(lst[i] != d) { std::cout << "error @ : " << i << std::endl; return 1; } } return 0; } when compiled with: "g++ -pedantic -Wall -Werror -O1 -o test test.cpp" I get the following output: "error @ : 3" when compiled with: "g++ -pedantic -Wall -Werror -O2 -o test test.cpp" I get the following output: "error @ : 3" when compiled with: "g++ -pedantic -Wall -Werror -O3 -o test test.cpp" I get no errors when compiled with: "g++ -pedantic -Wall -Werror -o test test.cpp" I get no errors I do not believe this to be an issue related to rounding, or epsilon difference in the comparison. I've tried this with Intel v10 and MSVC 9.0 and they all seem to work as expected. I believe this should be nothing more than a bitwise compare. If I replace the if-statement with the following: if (static_cast<long long int>(lst[i]) != static_cast<long long int>(d)), and add "-Wno-long-long" I get no errors in any of the optimization modes when run. If I add std::cout << d << std::endl; before the "return 1", I get no errors in any of the optimization modes when run. Is this a bug in my code, or is there something wrong with GCC and the way it handles the double type?
