In the previous page i set a session variable, after going to this download page and download the file, then press back i find the session=null "this happen after downloading more than 1 time", and the application_end in global.ascx called. Do you know why this may happen??

• micro-SD card initialization using SPI interface

  I'm using a micro-SD card in an embedded design. The card is connected to a microcontroller using the SPI interface. It worked fine for all cards I've used before, but now my new card will not initialize. The card is a Transcend 2GB micro-SD card (TS2GUSD). After sending the initial clock train to switch to SPI mode I do the following: 1) CMD0 (Argument 0, CRC 0x95) - Response 0x01 - OK 2) CMD8 (Argument 0x000001AA, CRC 0x87) - Response 0x01 0x000001AA - Means it's SDC V2+ card, the Voltage range 2.7V~3.6V is supported - OK Then I should send the ACMD41 command, but when sending the CMD55 (argument 0, CRC 0) that must precede CMD41, I get response 0x05 - Illegal Command. I've also tried to send CMD1 (for MMC cards), but it gives a similar Illegal Command response. The code works fine with my Sandisk 2GB micro-SD card. Does anyone have any idea? Thanks, -Ron-

  I have a web server on which IIS 7 host an SSL-enabled site. The client in am trying to connect with is behind the corporate Forefront TMG. The app is Total Commander - a file manager shell, that has the ability to connect to SSL FTP by putting a checkmark over SSL/TLS in the FTP connection settings. When FTP Access Filter in FF is enabled, my connection attempt fails on Negociating TLS step of FTP connection. The same happens even if I enable Allow Active FTP in the filter's settings. But when I disable the FTP Access Filter on FF completely, I am able to connect fine. How to configure FF TMG to allow FTPS?

I can do it in an absurdly complex way, but it seems like there must be a better way. Is this really the best I can do?   Can someone help me understand the following code? I found it here. It takes advantage of the JQuery UI Autocomplete with a remote source. I know the success function literal is an AJAX option which is called when the AJAX query returns. In this case, it seems to encapsulate a call to the response callback? Which is defined where? • AbcPDF renders the same page multiple times

  I need to retrieve several pages and output this in a PDF document. I have the following page structure: Page 1 Sub 1 Sub 2 Sub 3 On page one, I have a link which executes the below code. What it does, is to retrieve child pages (one level) and put them in a page collection. Then I loop trough the page collection and retrieve each sub pages URL. This works. I've tested and seen that it retrieves 3 different URL's. The problem is that my PDF gets three pages of Page 1. It does not render Sub 1 to 3. Why isn't docID = document.AddImageUrl(pageLink) retrieving the pages? Websupergoo refers to a caching problem which may occur. But their solution did not help me. • HTTPWebResponse returning no content

  Our company works with another company called iMatrix and they have an API for creating our own forms. They have confirmed that our request is hitting their servers but a response is supposed to come back in 1 of a few ways determined by a parameter.   Hello, I've been tasked with designing a very simple SSO (single sign-on) process. My employer has specified that it should be implimented in SAML. I'd like to create messages that are absolutely as simple as possible while confirming to the SAML spec. I'd be really grateful if some of you would look at my request and response messages and tell me if they make sense for my purpose, if they include anything that doesn't need to be there, and if they are missing anything that does need to be there. Addionally, I'd like to know where in the response I should put additional information about the subject; in particular, the subject's email address. The interaction needs to work as follows: 1) User requests service from service provider at this point, the service provider knows nothing about the user. 2) Service provider requests authentication for user from identity provider 3) User is authenticated/registered by identity provider 4) Identity provider responds to Service provider with authentication success message, PLUS user's email address. • xml schema and using a choice as the document root

  I have a bit of a newbie xml schema question. I believe the answer is that what I need to do is not possible with schema, but I'd like to be sure. The problem is that I have a webservice that returns a response with one type of root element on success (say <Response), and on a complete failure, returns a document with a different root element (say, <Exception). So, basically, two completely different documents: <Response......</Response OR <Exception....</Exception Is it possible to describe these two different documents with one schema document? It's like I want a choice as the first element under the schema element -- but that isn't valid syntax. I've tried a couple of variants that parse as valid xsd, but don't validate the documents. Any suggestions? Or is this simply not possible? Thanks very much in advance -- m

• Understanding Node.js and concept of non-blocking I/O

  Recently I became interested in using Node.js to tackle some of the parts of my web-application. I love the part that its full JavaScript and its very light weight so no use anymore to call an JavaScript-PHP call but a lighter JavaScript-JavaScript call. I however do not understand all the concepts explained. Basic concepts Now in the presentation for Node.js Ryan Dahl talks about non-blocking IO and why this is the way we need to create our programs. I can understand the theoretical concept. You just don't wait for a response, you go ahead and do other things. You make a callback for the response, and when the response arrives millions of clock-cycles later, you can fire that. If you have not already I recommend to watch this presentation. It is very easy to follow and pretty detailed. There are some nice concepts explained on how to write your code in a good manner. There are also some examples given and I am going to work with the basic example given. Examples The way we do thing now: puts("Enter your name: "); var name = gets(); puts("Name: " + name); Now the problem with this is that the code is halted at line 1. It blocks your code. The way we need to do things according to node puts("Enter your name: "); gets(function (name) { puts("Name: " + name); }); Now with this your program does not halt, because the input is a function within the output. So the programs continues to work without halting. Questions Now the basic question I have is how does this work in real-life situations. I am talking here for the use in web-applications. The application I am writing does I/O, bit is still does it in am blocking matter. I think that most of the time, if not all, you need to block, because you have to wait on what the response is you have to work with. When you need to get some information from the database, most of the time this data needs to be verified before you can further with the code. Example 1 If you take a login for example. You have to wait for the database to response to return, because you can not do anything else. I can't see a way around this without blocking. Example 2 Going back to the basic example. The use just request something from a database which does not need any verification. You still have to block because you don't have anything to do more. I can not come up with a single example where you want to do other things while you wait for the response to return. Possible answers I have read that this frees up recourses. When you program like this it takes less CPU or memory usage. So this non-blocking IO is ONLY meant to free up recourses and does not have any other practical use. Not that this is not a huge plus, freeing up recourses is always good. Yet I fail to see this as a good solution. because in both of the above examples, the program has to wait for the response of the user. Whether this is inside a function, or just inline, in my opinion there is a program that wait for input. Resources I looked at I have looked at some recourses before I posted this question. They talk a lot about the theoretical concept, which is quite clear. Yet i fail to see some real-life examples where this is makes a huge difference. • firefox, jQuery ajax calls firing twice and never triggering success or error functions

  Hi, I am developing with the .NET framework, using jQuery 1.4.2 client side. When developing in Firefox version 3.6, every so often an one of the many ajax calls I make on the page will fire twice, the second will return successfully but will not trigger the success handler of the ajax call and the first never returns anything. So basically the data is all sent to the server and response is sent down but nothing happens with the response. Here is an example of the call I am making. It happens to any of the ajax calls, so there is not one particular that is causing the problem: $.ajax({ type:"POST", contentType : "application/json; charset=utf-8", data:"{}", dataType:"json", success:function(){ alert('success'); }, error:function(){ alert('error'); }, url:'/services.aspx/somemethod' }); }) From firebug, here are the headers of the first call which in firebug shows as never completely responding, meaning i see no response code and the loader gif in the firebug never goes away. I have seen this article about firefox 3.5+ and preflighted requests https://developer.mozilla.org/En/HTTP_access_control#Preflighted_requests In the article is says if a "POST" is made with any other content type than "application/x-www-form-urlencoded, multipart/form-data, or text/plain" than the request is pre-flighted. If this is the case, this should happen to all of my calls. Thanks

  Hi, I have a telerik grid which is performing operations like searching,sorting,filtering etc. To make customers happy, we put this control in an ajax panel for seamless experience. Now, we added a new functionality to the grid where the customer can download the entire row information as a csv file. As the response is a file, ajax panel is trying to parse the output and throwing the following exception: Microsoft JScript runtime error: Sys.WebForms.PageRequestManagerParserErrorException: The message received from the server could not be parsed. Common causes for this error are when the response is modified by calls to Response.Write(), response filters, HttpModules, or server trace is enabled. Details: Error parsing near '?'. Could you please help me in having both functionalities( Ajax and Download) in place without any error?? Thanks, Mahesh

  I am using DNSmasq, OpenDNS and DYNDNS. DYNDNS is for my FTP site, and I am using OPEN DNS to filter porn from my kids itouch/ipad. However, I would like a few computers to have the capability to bypass openDNS, and pass through to a fast DNS server like google or similar. I would also like to fowrard all traffice from DYNDNS to my FTP server. Any ideas? This is what I have thus far.. strict-order dhcp-mac=filter,00:25:64:DB:A8:8A dhcp-option=net:filter,6,8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4 Its not working thus far, can someone help me accomplish what I want to do?

• Getting error detail from WCF REST

  I have a REST service consumed by a .Net WCF client. When an error is encountered the REST service returns an HTTP 400 Bad Request with the response body containing JSON serialised details. If I execute the request using Fiddler, Javascript or directly from C# I can easily access the response body when an error occurs. However, I'm using a WCF ChannelFactory with 6 quite complex interfaces. The exception thrown by this proxy is always a ProtocolException, with no useful details. Is there any way to get the response body when I get this error? Update I realise that there are a load of different ways to do this using .Net and that there are other ways to get the error response. They're useful to know but don't answer this question. The REST services we're using will change and when they do the complex interfaces get updated. Using the ChannelFactory with the new interfaces means that we'll get compile time (rather than run time) exceptions and make these a lot easier to maintain and update the code. Is there any way to get the response body for an error HTTP status when using WCF Channels?

  Hi I am developing an eshop application. I am using webservice to create Order in Oracle database and websvc will give a response (OrderNumber) and I will inform customer that his Order (OrderNumber) is generated My problem The creation of order is taking too much time in backend system and user is keeping refreshing the page, On each refresh user is coming back to Order create Page, so user is able to click on create Order button again In such cases multiple orders are creating for same orderlines.I can restrict user to create only one order per session in case I got order number in websvc response and I can give ordernumber to customer in next page But real problem come when I didn't get response(Ordernumber) and user is refreshing page. request is already went to Backend system and it will create order and my applicaion will not get response Is there any method in PHP where we can asyncronously check the status of order if first request is initiated by user and it doesn't matter the furthur page navigation Please help me out..
