As you all know Visual Studio Express edition do not support Source Control Integration
As it is obvious there is a feature which allows VS tointegrate with any kind of source control. So I'm using VS express for myself (in home, and for my presonal Project and want to use a source control for my projects) So what should I Do
Currently I'm using SVN and by Command Prompt using svn, but I want to create an Add-In for VS Express edition which works with VS Express.
Any help will Appriciate.
I copied the root folder to my desktop, deleted all files in that folder or under that folder if the file was a VSS file, opened the project, confirmed that I wanted to removed VSS integration and still my web project but not the referenced projects in the solution were tied to VSS and they changed my checkout folder in VSS!
I have a need to add business reporting for an application I am working on. I have found very little in the way of support for MVC natively. I would like to get a feedback on tools that people have used, how they used it (native or hybrid) and if possible links to examples demonstrating integration.
I'd like to get feedback on use of
Crystal Reports
SSRS
Telerik
MVC Reporting Solutions
SSRS - requires hybrid application with winforms page hosting the report
Telerik - ???
Crystal Reports - requires hybrid application with winformats page hosting the report
Hi all.
I am looking for information on the integration of some of the new Windows 7 taskbar features into my PyQt applications.
Specifically if there already exists the possibility to use the new progress indicator (see here) and the quick links (www.petri.co.il/wp-content/uploads/new_win7_taskbar_features_8.gif).
If anyone could provide a few links or just a "not implemented yet", I'd be very grateful.
Thanks a lot.
Does anyone have an example of using Apache Qpid within a standalone junit test.
Ideally I want to be able to create a queue on the fly which I can put/get msgs within my test.
So I'm not testing QPid within my test, I'll use integration tests for that, however be very useful to test methods handling msgs with having to mock out a load of services.
Is there any mobile platform that allows me to run Java Applets? In absence of browser integration, at least Java SE capabilities. I've heard of a mobile device capable of running Windows XP - that would probably include support for Java SE and applets; does any one have any hands-on experience with such a device? How well does it perform in terms of Java programs execution?
I'm quite new to Quartz and now I need to schedule some jobs in Spring Web App.
I know about Spring + Quartz integration (I'm using Spring v 3.1.1) but I'm wondering if it's the right way to follow.
In particular I need to persist my scheduled tasks in a DB so I can re-initialize them when application is restarted.
Are there some utilities provided by Spring scheduling wrapper to do this?
Can you suggest me some "well known" approach to follow?
What are good approaches to documenting ObjC classes, variables and methods, esp. for automated, downstream class creation, documentation creation, and general integration with Xcode?
As an example, I like to use:
#pragma mark -
#pragma mark UITextField delegate methods
for demarcating chunks of code of interest, for quick access from within Xcode.
I have a visual studio integration package that tracks output from the debug window. I can get the IVsTextView of the output window, like so:
IVsTextView view = GetService(typeof(SVsOutputWindow)) as IVsTextView;
// grab text from the view and process it
However, if a different panel other than the "Debug" panel is currently active, then this IVsTextView will have text from that panel, and not the "Debug" panel.
Is it possible to get an IVsTextView for a specific output window panel, without calling OutputWindowPanel.Activate() prior to getting the IVsTextView of the output window?
Hi,
Has anyone been able to implement Facebooks Graph API in a native iPhone Application?
The documentation is pretty sparse when it comes to iPhone integration, but the calls to get users information looks a lot more light weight than the previous method of using FBConnect. So i would like to use it.
I have seen a few posts about but none explain you you would implement the login button as we did previously with FBConnect?
If any one has achieved this or can offer me any pointers that would be brilliant
Thanks
Tom
I am looking for a good personal desktop wiki with a good desktop integration.
Like for example drag and drop of files, images, etc.
I am currently evaluating WikidPad.
Which personal wiki are you using and what is your experience with it?
I am working on three tier application.

I'm looking into using SharePoint (WSS 3.0, specifically) for the document library and discussion board functionalities.
I'd like to ask those of you who have experience in SP (MOSS or WSS, since we might upgrade in the future) for a list of the items that ticked you off or required a difficult workaround.
Here's one from me - I found when I implemented forms authentication that a lot of the built-in integration with Microsoft Office disappeared, and I was also unable to use explorer view.
I am trying to unit test my ViewModel and my SaveItem(save, CanSave) delegate command. I want to ensure that CanSave is called and returns the correct value given certain conditions. Basically, how can I invoke the delegate command from my unit test, actually it's more of an integration test. Obviously I could just test the return value of the CanSave method but I am trying to use BDD to the letter, ie. no code without a test first.
I would like to do a "sexy" / user-friendly / appealing GUI in java. Swing is a limited in terms of "skin" customisation.
I'm thinking about JavaFX but I don't it yet,
what can I achieve with this technology ?
how hard is it ?
do you have examples of real-life examples of Swing/JavaFX integration ?
I would like to do something in this spirit of this, which is built on the .NET framework:

I am working on incorporating CruiseControl into my teams build process. What we need is a way to pass a Clearcase view name into the ant script so it knows what view to use when building. Sometimes a developer needs to create a build that is used for their testing only and not on the main integration branch. Is there a way to do this?
I want to install the Photoshop mobile on my emulator. I need to do test the Photoshop.com Mobile integration for image editing. But I dont know how to do that. I cannot access the market from the emulator.

I really would like to integrate the Myspace ID platform on my site using PHP, instead of allowing users to sign in to my site anytime with there myspace ID I am planning on just using it 1 time on signup process to allow them to import profile data from there myspace to my network.
I have note been able to find any good example code for doing any kind of myspace integration, has anyone done this and care to share any info on the issue please?

I need a quick jump start for using Spring and Hibernate together and I was looking for some sample code to modify and extend. Bonus points for Struts2 and Spring Security integration.
I am developing a java application and I want to use:
Reporting
Analysis
Data Mining
Data Integration
tools to be shipped with my commercial application that I am NOT going to sell as an open source application.
So I want to know which tools I can use in my app.
Actually I am evaluating PENTAHO and JASPER but I don't understand licensing issues. Some comes under GPL, some under LGPL, some under CPL... so I am very confused about those.
I was told IBM no-longer uses Dojo. Is this true? A small amount of web searching shows IBM is/was a member of the Dojo Foundation and is/was a code contributor... If it is true, approximately when did IBM stop using Dojo? If its not, to what extend is IBM still actively using and promoting the toolkit (use in their public web sites, product integration/bundling, etc)?

We build a system that handling the billing analyse and what it does it just have a raw bill from vendor and process to "common" table and this is using SQL Server 2005 Integration Services.
At the moment, the batch has 300,000 rows and it took about 6 minutes to process. Now, the current spec are:
2 CPUs Intel Xeon E5345 @ 2.33 GHz
RAM 4GB
Is there anyway I can speed up this process?
