  • CSS problems with our eBay custom HTML template

    we are building a template for our eBay listings. eBay allows users to upload a description as HTML code and allows that code to link your external CSS files. eBay displays the user's HTML code in an iframe, it looks like eBay calculates the height of your page on load and then and resizes the iframe according to that height. Here is a link to one of our test listings in eBay's sandbox environment: http://cgi.sandbox.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=110097353751&ssPageName=ADME:L:LCA:US:1123#ht_692wt_1136 In Chrome / Firefox there's a second scroll bar next to the listing. In IE, the listings just covers eBay's footer which is even worse I solved this issue once using CSS and i can't remember how. I would really appreciate any help.     If I have a table with a schema like this table(Category, SubCategory1, SubCategory2, Status) I would like to group by Category, SubCategory1 and aggregate the Status such that if not all Status values over the group have a certain value Status will be 0 otherwise 1. So my result set will look like (Category, SubCategory1, Status) I don't want to write a function. I would like to do it inside the query.

However, I have the following two problems: If I try to implement a double click event for richTextBox1, I can detect when a word is clicked, however that word is highlighted (selected), which I'd like to avoid. I can deselect it programmatically by selecting the end of the text, but that causes a flicker, which I would like to avoid. What ways are there to do this? The GetCharIndexFromPosition method returns the index of the character that is closest to the cursor. This means that if the only thing my RichTextBox contains is a word starting with a # then the cursor will be a hand no matter where on the rich text control it is. How can I make it so that it is only a hand when it hovers over an actual word or character that is part of a word I'm interested in? The implemented URL detection also partially suffers from this problem. If I enable detection of URLs and only write www.test.com in the rich text editor, the cursor will be a hand as long as it is on or below the link. It will not be a hand if it's to the right of the link however. I'm fine even with this functionality if making the cursor a hand if and only if it's on the text proves to be too difficult. I'm guessing I'll have to resort to some sort of Windows API calls, but I don't really know where to start. I am using Visual Studio 2008 and I would like to implement this myself. Update: The flickering problem would be solved if I could make it so that no text is selectable through double clicking, only through dragging the mouse cursor. Is this easier to achieve? Because I don't really care if one can select text or not by double clicking in this case.

I imagine I have put attr at a wrong location. Where am I supposed to specify it ?

    Hello As you probably all know Code Igniter can assign pseudo variables using the Parser library, but you also know that if we want to assign a Pseudo Variable to use it in a View, we have to do it in every controller that loads those views with the pseudo variables. I would like to know if Code Igniter 1.7.2 has some way that i can assign a Global Pseudo variable (like the pseudo variables from the Benchmarking Class). The pseudo variables i want, would have simple data mostly returned from the $config array in the config.php file. If some could help me with that. Regards.

  • WPF Application Typing in Custom TextBox CPU Jumping from 3 to 80 percent

    I have created a RichTextBox called SharpTextBox which indicates and limits the number of characters that can be typed in it. The implementation is shown in the following link: http://www.highoncoding.com/Articles/673_Creating_SharpRichTextBox_for_Live_Character_Count_in_WPF.aspx Anyway when I start typing in the TextBox it goes from 3% to 78%. The TextBox updates the Label control which shows the number of characters remaining for the count. How can I increase the performance of the textbox? UPDATE: I read there seems to be some problem with the TextRange.Text property which kills performance.

    I have a c# library project, that i configured using nhibernate, and I like people to be able to import this project and use the project. This project has FrontController that does all the work. I have a connection string in hibernate config file and in app.config file of another project. it would be nice for anyone to be able to set the connection string into this library project and use it. such as through a method which will take the connectiong string as parameter. or when creating a new instance of FrontController to pass the connection string to constructor. or if you have a better idea. How to do this? I d like this class library to use the same database of the project that s imported. How to set hibernate connection string programatically? same idea for log4net.

I've gotten most of it converted correctly, but I am still getting an error at runtime with the following line involving delegation to a C# file that is in the API (SFSEvent.cs). C# original: SFSEvent.onConnection += HandleConnection; Javascript (or whatever I've turned it into): SFSEvent.onConnection = Delegate.Combine(HandleConnection); Error: InvalidCastException: Cannot cast from source type to destination type.

    I'm switching from scala 2.7 and ordered to scala 2.8 and using ordering. It looks quite straight forward but I was wondering could I make it a little less verbose. There is a rule to say that you cant have public string _myfield but I don't want underscores anywhere ie/method names, property names, method parameters.   • .NET custom form designer: How to implement IMenuCommandService?

    I've got a report form designer written long ago for a database project. It used a lot of winapi magic hence i was forced to rewrite some parts 'in proper way'. Thanks to some articles from MSDN magazine (here and here) and CodeProject i was able to implement designer surface, toolbox and undo/redo engine. Every resource i discovered on the topic so far is a bit outdated. Can you point to fresh/comprehensive article? Code from article mentioned above seems not working. MenuCommandService.ShowContextMenu is called but nothing appears since there aren't any DesignerVerbs in globalVerbs collection. Should i add 'standard' ones, corresponded to designer actions such as cut/paste, manually? If yes, how can i accomplish this?

  • Using Django Admin for a custom database solution

    A client wants to have a simple intranet application to manage his process. He runs a Quarry and wishes to track number of loads delivered per day and associated activities. Since I knew about Django's excellent Admin interface, I figured I could define the "Schema" in models.py and have Django Admin generate the forms. I did exactly that and the result is not bad at all. I've been able to customize the look and feel to suit the client's taste. Some questions: Is Django Admin the right choice for such a use-case? Will I run to problems in the future due to flexibility of the framework? Is there a better framework out there specifically designed for this use-case (general Database management for small businesses)? I prefer ones written in Python since I can hack it up to customize.   • custom button: properties change, button should be redrawn

    Hi I'm developing an Android app. I have class derived from button to represent a special type of button. This special type has some properties (integers) and according to these one or more circles have to be drawn on top of the button. So I overrode the onDraw function, which looks the values up and accordingly draws the circles. But the class has a function to set new values for its properties. So new values are set but the changes are not reflected in the UI. It seems like the onDraw function is not called. When later I click the button or show a pop up message above my interface the onDraw function is called and the button is drawn correctly. So my question: when changing the properties how can I say that the button has to be redrawn? Thanks a lot!

    I have a list box that scrolls images horizontally. I have the following XAML I used blend to create it. It originally had a x:Key on the Style TaregetType line, MSDN said to remove it, as I was getting errors on that. I don't understand how to apply all of this junk that way, I've tried several thing, nothing is working. My goal is to have the selected item's background be white, not blue.     I have a perl array of to-do tasks that looks like this: @todos = ( "1 (A) Complete online final @evm4700 t:2010-06-02", "3 Write thank-you t:2010-06-10", "4 (B) Clean t:2010-05-30", "5 Donate to LSF t:2010-06-02", "6 (A) t:2010-05-30 Pick up dry cleaning", "2 (C) Call Chris Johnson t:2010-06-01" ); That first number is the task's ID. If a task has ([A-Z]) next to, that defines the task's priority. What I want to do is sort the tasks array in a way that places the prioritized items first (and in order): @todos = ( "1 (A) Complete online final @evm4700 t:2010-06-02", "6 (A) t:2010-05-30 Pick up dry cleaning", "4 (B) Clean t:2010-05-30", "2 (C) Call Chris Johnson t:2010-06-01" "3 Write thank-you t:2010-06-10", "5 Donate to LSF t:2010-06-02", ); I cannot use a regular sort() because of those IDs next to the tasks, so I'm assuming that some sort of customized sorting subroutine is needed.   • iPhone: Having trouble figuring out how to scroll a UITableView with custom UITextField cells automa

    Ok, I know this seems like a duplicate question, but don't think it is. I actually have this implemented already (thanks to this SO question), but it seems sluggish. I am willing to tweak it a bit, but I ran across a demo app by AboutObjects that seems to have exactly the right functionality with absolutely no code doing it. I have looked through their demo code dozens of times, and I can't figure out what they are doing that I am not. The code to look at is in their iPhone Development Tutorials section, and is called "Editable TableView" (2nd from the bottom). There are a couple of questions on the forums on that site asking how they got the functionality, but there is no answer (other than "It's a built in function"). Does anyone have any clue as to why their UITableView would implement the input scrolling by default (including being able to scroll the view manually when the keyboard pops up, which I cannot get to work)?

    Hi.I'm trying to write a web page in .NET, using C# and NHibernate 2.1. The problem is that I'm getting a result that is incompatible with a repeater. When I try this: posts.DataSource = whatevervar.; posts.DataBind(); ...I get this: DataBinding: 'System.Object[]' does not contain a property with the name 'user_avatar'.
