  • Assign RegEx submatches to variables or map (C++/C)

    I need to extract the SAME type of information (e.g. First name, Last Name, Telephone, ...), from numerous different text sources (each with a different format & different order of the variables of interest). I want a function that does the extraction based on a regular expression and returns the result as DESCRIPTIVE variables. In other words, instead of returning each match result as submatch[0], submatch[1], submatch[2], ..., have it do EITHER of the following: 1.) return std::map so that the submatches can be accessed via: submatch["first_name"], submatch["last_name"], submatch["telephone"] 2.) return a variables with the submatches so that the submatches can be accessed via: submatch_first_name, submatch_last_name, submatch_telephone I can write a wrapper class around boost::regex to do #1, but I was hoping there would be a built-in or a more elegant way to do this in C++/Boost/STL/C.

    I am trying to use Dijkstra's algorithm to find the shortest path from a specific vertex (v0) to the rest of them. That is solved and works well with this code from this link below: http://en.literateprograms.org/index.php?title=Special:DownloadCode/Dijkstra%27s_algorithm_(Java)&oldid=15444 I am having trouble with assigning the Edge array in a for loop from the user input, as opposed to hard-coding it like it is here. Any help assigning a new edge to Edge[] adjacencies from each vertex?     some case i write code like these: a,temp,b = s.partition('-') i just need to pick the first and 3rd element. temp would never be used. is there a better way to do this? the common case is ,a better way to pick separted element to make a new list? for example i want to make a new list use old list 0,1,3,7 element code would be this: newlist = [oldlist[0],oldlist[1],oldlist[3],oldlist[7]] it's pretty ugly,isn't it?

This is a university program, everything is working fine except when I call my :forLoop method to iterate through 100 numbers (1,1,100) starting at 1 going by 1 til 100 and doing the iteration % 5 (i%%5). for some reason I cannot get this to work. appreciate any help or direction. When I echo %%A it is iterating through all the number perfect.     Is it possible to test for the existence of a script-scoped variable in PowerShell? I've been using the PowerShell Community Extensions (PSCX) but I've noticed that if you import the module while Set-PSDebug -Strict is set, an error is produced: The variable '$SCRIPT:helpCache' cannot be retrieved because it has not been set. At C:\Users\...\Modules\Pscx\Modules\GetHelp\Pscx.GetHelp.psm1:5 char:24 While investigating how I might fix this, I found this piece of code in Pscx.GetHelp.psm1: #requires -version 2.0 param([string[]]$PreCacheList) if ((!$SCRIPT:helpCache) -or $RefreshCache) { $SCRIPT:helpCache = @{} } This is pretty straight forward code; if the cache doesn't exist or needs to be refreshed, create a new, empty cache. The problem is that calling $SCRIPT:helpCache while Set-PSDebug -Strict is in force casues the error because the variable hasn't been defined yet. Ideally, we could use a Test-Variable cmdlet but such a thing doesn't exist! I thought about looking in the variable: provider but I don't know how to determine the scope of a variable. So my question is: how can I test for the existence of a variable while Set-PSDebug -Strict is in force, without causing an error?

  • Remove postgres from Mac - installed in /usr/local/, can I just delete files?

    I want to completely uninstall postgres and start from scratch - the version I have is refusing to work with PostGIS 2.0. I have read other answers on how to do this, but none of them seem to fit the way postgres is set up on this machine. I'm not sure postgres was originally installed on this machine - it wasn't via brew or Postgres.app or the EnterpriseDB installer - but it seems to be living in /usr/local: $ which psql /usr/local/pgsql-9.1/bin/psql The postgres binary itself is in /usr/local/var/postgres/. How can I kill it forever? Can I simply go to /usr/local and do rm -rf pgsql-9.1, and the same in /usr/local/var, and make sure there are no paths in my profile file? Or is there more to it than that? From memory I think I'll need to delete the database files too somehow. Thanks for the help.

  • Why can't I access a webserver through a load balancer on my local network?

    When I try to use curl (or wget, lynx, etc) to connect from a server on our local network to our website, which is on a local server behind a CoyotePoint load balancer, curl fails. Ping does not have this problem. When I curl directly to any of the servers behind that load balancer (from and to the same local network), I also have no problem. It doesn't matter whether the local server I'm curling from is behind the load balancer or not. Does anyone have any idea why I can't access my webserver through the load balancer on my local network?

When I refresh this in Internet Explorer 9, the page takes over a minute to load compared to instantly in Firefox (latest stable build. When I remove the external CSS and JS references, IE9 loads the page instantly. Can anyone explain why IE9 takes so long to load local HTML files with references to external CSS and JS files?

    We recently clustered an application, and it came to light that because of how we're doing SSL offloading via the load balancer in production it didn't work right. I had to mimic this functionality on my local machine by SSL offloading Apache with a proxy, but it still isn't a 1-to-1 comparison. Similar issues can arise when dealing with stateful applications and sticky sessions. What would be the industry standard for testing this kind of production "black box" scenario in a local environment, especially as it relates to clustering?

    I have a web service that I built with Axis2/Java. The web service will take in a list of objects and will process them. I'll use the following operation as an example. public class AddToDatabaseService{ public void addToDatabase(String name1, String name2, String name3, ....) { //add names to database } } I want the caller of my web service to use a URI like: http://localhost:8080/axis2/services/addToDatabase?name1=Joe&name2=Bob&name3=Kelly&name4=... I'm aware this is not compilable code and the idea is still there. Is this even possible with SOAP-based web services? I know this is possible to do with RESTful services because you can just take the HttpServletRequest request object and do Enumeration enumeration = request.getParameterNames() and iterate through them. I'm looking for the equivalent of that in web services POJO's with Axis2. A link or an sample program would be great! Thanks.

  • Communicate with the local machine from a web page

    Hello. We have a web application. There are physical devices that we need to be able to communicate with, and we have access to all of our clients computers to install whatever software we need. Now, for the question: Is there a way to make this browser-agnostic? As in, not requiring ActiveX controls? One of my ideas was to install a custom made webserver on each client and then have javascript on our webpage that communicates with that webserver. This could be done by the same way that http://earlz.biz.tm javascript can access subdomains assigned to 127.0.0.1 such as http://loopback.earlz.biz.tm The problem with this of course is that the client's custom made webserver would be forced to run on port 80(which will have conflicts at least sometimes), or we would have to use a nonstandard port for our web application, which is quite undesirable. Does anyone else have ideas on how to do this?

  • Silverlight: Download local files with WebClient

    The directory structure of my Silverlight project is like the following: \Bin - MainModule.xap - \Images --- Image1.png --- Image2.png - \Modules --- SubModule.xap I want to be able to run it through either a web server or through Visual Studio directly (for debugging purposes I want to bypass content downloading). In my media loading code I do something like the following: if (runningLocally) { var bitmapImage = new BitmapImage(); bitmapImage.UriSource = new Uri("Images/Image1.png", UriKind.Relative); var image = new Image(); image.Source = bitmapImage; } else { WebClient wc = new WebClient(); wc.OpenReadCompleted += (s, e) => { var bitmapImage = new BitmapImage(); bitmapImage.SetSource(e.Result); var image = new Image(); image.Source = bitmapImage; }; wc.OpenReadAsync(new Uri("Images/Image1.png", UriKind.Relative)); } This works for images but I also have sub-modules which are just assemblies housing UserControls. Since Silverlight has no ability to read disk I've resigned myself to the fact that I'm going to have to "download" the XAPs I need whether I'm running locally or not. Problem is if I run the project locally and try to use a WebClient to download a XAP I get an exception: System.Net.WebException: An exception occurred during a WebClient request. ---> System.NotSupportedException: The URI prefix is not recognized. Is there any way (WebClient or otherwise) I can get to my sub-module XAPs when running the Silverlight project directly rather than hitting a web server?
