  • Pear PHP UML Class Diagrams

    - by bigstylee
Hi, I am trying to create graphical representations of existing code. I have tried to use VS.PHP (with Visual Studios 2010) but cant seem to generate class diagrams from this. I have tried to use Pear's PHP UML package which has produced a lot of JavaDoc style documentation and an XMI document. From what I have read, this can be used to create class diagrams? If so, how? Are there other "easier" alternatives? Thanks in advance

  • PHP Equivalent of Java Type-Casting Solution

    - by stjowa
Since PHP has no custom-class type-casting, how would I go about doing the PHP equivalent of this Java code: CustomBaseObject cusBaseObject = cusBaseObjectDao.readCustomBaseObjectById(id); ((CustomChildObject) cusBaseObject).setChildAttribute1(value1); ((CustomChildObject) cusBaseObject).setChildAttribute2(value2); In my case, it would very nice if I could do this. However, trying this without type-casting support, it gives me an error that the methods do not exist for the object. Thanks, Steve

  • Rails + AMcharts (with export image php script) - PHP script converted to controller?

    - by Elliot

Amcharts comes with a PHP script to export images called "export.php" I'm trying to figure out how to take the code in export.php and put it into a controller. Here is the code: <?php // amcharts.com export to image utility // set image type (gif/png/jpeg) $imgtype = 'jpeg'; // set image quality (from 0 to 100, not applicable to gif) $imgquality = 100; // get data from $_POST or $_GET ? $data = &$_POST; // get image dimensions $width = (int) $data['width']; $height = (int) $data['height']; // create image object $img = imagecreatetruecolor($width, $height); // populate image with pixels for ($y = 0; $y < $height; $y++) { // innitialize $x = 0; // get row data $row = explode(',', $data['r'.$y]); // place row pixels $cnt = sizeof($row); for ($r = 0; $r < $cnt; $r++) { // get pixel(s) data $pixel = explode(':', $row[$r]); // get color $pixel[0] = str_pad($pixel[0], 6, '0', STR_PAD_LEFT); $cr = hexdec(substr($pixel[0], 0, 2)); $cg = hexdec(substr($pixel[0], 2, 2)); $cb = hexdec(substr($pixel[0], 4, 2)); // allocate color $color = imagecolorallocate($img, $cr, $cg, $cb); // place repeating pixels $repeat = isset($pixel[1]) ? (int) $pixel[1] : 1; for ($c = 0; $c < $repeat; $c++) { // place pixel imagesetpixel($img, $x, $y, $color); // iterate column $x++; } } } // set proper content type header('Content-type: image/'.$imgtype); header('Content-Disposition: attachment; filename="chart.'.$imgtype.'"'); // stream image $function = 'image'.$imgtype; if ($imgtype == 'gif') { $function($img); } else { $function($img, null, $imgquality); } // destroy imagedestroy($img); ?>

  • High-quality PDF to Word conversion in PHP?

    - by cletus
What's the best way of converting PDF docs to Microsoft Word format in PHP? This can be either as a PHP script or calling a (Linux) executable (with proc_open()). It just needs to be relatively fast and produce quality Word documents (in 97/2000/2003 format). Commercial software is OK.

  • Online PHP/HTML/JS/CSS editor

    - by pistacchio
Hi to all, is there any free php code that, once installed, allows you to browse and edit files (with html, javascript, php and css highlight) on the server where it's installed? The aim is to code online, browser based. I've tried http://phpanywhere.net/ that can make this possible, but it is buggy and moreover it requires an external (ftp) access to your server that is quite different (and less secure) that working directly on the server. Thanks in advance

  • Compiling Gearman extension for PHP on OS-X Snow Leopard with Zend Server Community Edition

    - by GrumpyCanuck
I was wondering if anyone else has figured out how to solve this problem. Whether I install the extension via PECL or compile it by hand, I get the same error: PHP Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library '/usr/local/zend/lib/php_extensions/gearman.so' - dlopen(/usr/local/zend/lib/php_extensions/gearman.so, 9): no suitable image found. Did find: /usr/local/zend/lib/php_extensions/gearman.so: mach-o, but wrong architecture in Unknown on line 0 I have no idea how to fix this problem and I can only bang my head into my desk so many times.

  • Good PHP ORM Library?

    - by sgibbons
Does anyone know of a good object-relational-mapping library for PHP? I know of PDO/ADO, but they seem to only provide abstraction of differences between database vendors not an actual mapping between the domain model and the relational model. I'm looking for a PHP library that functions similarly to the way Hibernate does for Java/.Net.
