• Compilation failing - no #include - boost

  Hi, I'm trying to compile a third-party library, but g++ is complaining about the following line: typedef boost::shared_ptr<MessageConsumer> MessageConsumerPtr; The strange thing is, there is no #include directive in the file - and it is clearly supposed to be this way; there are about 60 files with the same (or very similar) issues. Clearly if there was an #include directive referencing the relevant boost header this would compile cleanly. My question is: how can I get g++ to somehow automagically find the relevant symbol (in all instances of this issue, it is a namespace that can't be found - usually std:: or boost::) by either automatically processing the relevant header (or some other mechanism). • Creating AVI files in OpenCV

  Hello. I have been trying to create an application using OpenCV and Visual Studio 2008, to capture images from a webcam, apply a filter to them, and then write them to an AVI file. Everything works, except creating the AVI file. The problem is that it works on my computer, but it doesn't work on my colleague's computer. The reason for that (I think) is that he does not have the necessary video encoders for OpenCV to use. The cvCreateVideoWriter function does not return NULL, but I end up with a 0kb file on the disk.

When adding a drawable resource and building the project with mm command, i met a below error. "cannot find symbol R.drawable.icon_send_type" At above error, the icon_send_type is the added resource. • Backbone.js: How to utilize router.navigate to manipulate browser history?

  I am writing something like a registration process containing several steps, and I want to make it a single-page like system so after some studying Backbone.js is my choice. Every time the user completes the current step they will click on a NEXT button I create and I use the router.navigate method to update the url, as well as loading the content of the next page and doing some fancy transition with javascript. Result is, URL is updated which the page is not refreshed, giving a smooth user experience. However, when the user clicks on the back button of the browser, the URL gets updated to that of a previous step, but the content stays the same. My question is through what way I can capture such an event and currently load the content of the previous step and present that to the user? Or even better, can I rely on browser cache to load that previously loaded page? EDIT: in particular, I'm trying something like mentioned in this article.

  Hello. My problem is, I need to cURL-load a page that uses Ajax-based search, to get results of that search. And I need to organize a delay between curl_exec() and value returning. In other words, I need to execute curl_exec() for no less than 5 seconds. sleep() seems to stop curl execution and does not work. Will greatly appreciate any hint or clue UPD I don't know how, but on this page http://vkontakte.ru/gsearch.php?section=video&q=sample&name=1, but it requires an account to access curl DOES capture the search made by ajax. But if page tooks too long to load, Ajax returns "action was too fast" error. So I just need to prolong curl execution. Sorry if being unclear.

I'm know checking if it works by tracing e.target.name, and I found out that the event is triggered twice, before on the element container (Canvas) and then the element itself.   Hi, I have an EAR that is made up of two modules. Both expose services and share common code. Imagine that the ear has a common.jar shared by a webservices.war and webapp.war. I use log4j to log the activities. I would like to be able to have two log files (webservices.log and webapp.log) capturing the events that are specific to each of them plus all the stuff that is handled by the common.jar. How should I configure my categories and my appenders to achieve this? At the moment I have the following packages: com.myapp for shared stuff com.myapp.webservices for the webservices and com.myapp.webapp for the webapp. My problem is that I don't know how I can capture the com.myapp (common stuff) in both log files by using a single log4j configuration file. I have tried setting up multiple configuration files but when JBoss would work OK Websphere would break and the other way round... Thank you

  Running an MVC2 site against IIS7 and would like to capture more detail of how users traverse the site - ideally to the point of being able to replay even the duration between mouse clicks - feedback of where people pause and/or backtrack. I could do this with flash but that's no longer an option. Now it's just IIS7 via asp.net f4. That should be enough IIS7 is supposed to be extensible enough that there'd be any number of 3rd party options for this sort of niche need.   I have created a application in c# , it reads excel file and after checking some conditions, it select a row to be written in another Excel File. Everything is working fine, but i need to end the file with the DateTime.Now.ToString(). string date = DateTime.Now.ToString(); ExcelWorkSheet2.Cells[newFileRow, 1] = date; When I see the file created, it shows "########" symbol instead of actual date. When I select that cell , it changes to correct date format. What may be going wrong?

I tries using cvCaptureFromFile and cvCaptureFromAVI instead of cvCreateFileCapture In both cases cvRetrieveFrame method crashes. Any ideas? Thanks

  Hi, Im using linux as my programming platform. I am using poll(2) to know if my device is triggering an event. The first call of poll is ok, it blocks and wait for the event to happen. But in the second poll function call, it will return but it capture the event. Below are my code ret = poll( fds, 1, 2000); //2 secs timeout if( fds[0].revents & POLLIN && ret > 0) { printf("event occur\n"); } It seems the queue/buffer is not empty, im just assuming.   I recently purchased the domain name simply.do. I want to use it as a URL shortening service, but I don't like have to do simply.do/something. Can I remove the slash or replace it with a difference symbol? If this helps, I am using a server running Nginx and I will not switch to Apache. Thanks! I would also appreciate any feedback on the domain name. I was hoping to sell simply.do/insurance, simply.do/religion, etc. to various companies. Do you think there is a way I could sell these parts on an auction website? Thanks!
