  • Android Custom Dialog NullPointerException

    - by Kyle Hughes
    I cannot for the life of me figure out why I'm getting a NullPointerException. When a user clicks on a particular image, a dialog window is supposed to pop-up and display a larger version of said image: private OnClickListener coverListener = new OnClickListener() { public void onClick(View v) { showDialog(DIALOG_COVER); } }; DIALOG_COVER is set to = 0. The associated onCreateDialog looks like this: protected Dialog onCreateDialog(int id) { Dialog dialog; switch(id) { case DIALOG_COVER: dialog = new Dialog(mContext); dialog.setContentView(R.layout.cover_dialog); dialog.setTitle(book.getTitle()); ImageView coverLarge = (ImageView)findViewById(R.id.coverLarge); coverLarge.setImageBitmap(book.getCover()); break; default: dialog = null; } return dialog; } For reference, this is cover_dialog.xml: <LinearLayout xmlns:android="http://schemas.android.com/apk/res/android" android:id="@+id/coverDialog" android:orientation="horizontal" android:layout_width="fill_parent" android:layout_height="fill_parent" android:padding="10dp"> <ImageView android:id="@+id/coverLarge" android:layout_width="wrap_content" android:layout_height="wrap_content" android:scaleType="fitStart" /></LinearLayout> Now, when the image previously described is clicked, the application immediately crashes and throws the following error through LogCat: 06-08 13:29:17.727: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(2220): Uncaught handler: thread main exiting due to uncaught exception 06-08 13:29:17.757: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(2220): java.lang.NullPointerException 06-08 13:29:17.757: ERROR/AndroidRuntime(2220): at org.kylehughes.android.brarian.AndroidBrarian.onCreateDialog(AndroidBrarian.java:259) The line in question refers to this line inside of onCreateDialog: coverLarge.setImageBitmap(book.getCover()); Basically, I don't get why coverLarge is null at that point. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Parsing XML in C# from stream

    - by Phillip
    I've tried several methods, from Linq to loading the data to an XML document, but i can't seem to be able to return the result that i need. here's the example XML: <serv:message xmlns:serv="http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/service" xmlns:com="http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/common" xmlns:event="http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/service/event"><serv:header><serv:response><serv:result>SUCCESS</serv:result><serv:gsbStatus>PRIMARY</serv:gsbStatus></serv:response></serv:header><serv:body><serv:bodyContent xsi:type="event:createEventResponse" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><event:sessionKey>11111111</event:sessionKey><event:guestToken>111111111111111111111</event:guestToken></serv:bodyContent></serv:body></serv:message> And, here's what i've tried to do: StreamReader reader = new StreamReader(dataStream); XmlDocument doc = new XmlDocument(); doc.LoadXml(reader.ReadToEnd()); XmlNamespaceManager ns = new XmlNamespaceManager(doc.NameTable); XmlNamespaceManager ns2 = new XmlNamespaceManager(doc.NameTable); XmlNamespaceManager ns3 = new XmlNamespaceManager(doc.NameTable); ns.AddNamespace("serv", "http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/service"); ns2.AddNamespace("com", "http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/common"); ns3.AddNamespace("event", "http://www.webex.com/schemas/2002/06/service/event"); XmlNode node = doc.SelectSingleNode("result",ns); Yet, for some reason i cannot ever seem to return the actual result, which should be either 'SUCCESS' or 'FAILURE' based on the actual xml above. How can i do this?

  • Ajax: Add new <div> from JSON with jQuery

    - by Francesc
    Hi, In a page I have this HTML code: <div id="content"> <div class="container"> <div id="author">@Francesc</div> <div id="message"Hey World!</div <div id="time"13/06/2010 11:53 GMT</div </div> <div class="container"> <div id="author">@SomeOtherUser</div> <div id="message"Bye World!</div <div id="time"13/06/2010 14:53 GMT</div </div> <div class="container"> <div id="author">@Me</div> <div id="message"Hey World!</div <div id="time"13/06/2010 18:53 GMT</div </div> </div> I want to ask, how to get a JSON file, from the server that has more recent messages and put them to the top, I mean above the first <div class="container">. Another question, it's possible to pass with GET when submiting the request to the server, the time of last update? How can I do it? Thanks.

  • Is it possible to create the following XML using Xdocument(C#3.0)

    - by Newbie
    <?xml version='1.0' encoding='UTF-8'?> <StockMarket> <StockDate Day = "02" Month="06" Year="2010"> <Stock> <Symbol>ABC</Symbol> <Amount>110.45</Amount> </Stock> <Stock> <Symbol>XYZ</Symbol> <Amount>366.25</Amount> </Stock> </StockDate> <StockDate Day = "03" Month="06" Year="2010"> <Stock> <Symbol>ABC</Symbol> <Amount>110.35</Amount> </Stock> <Stock> <Symbol>XYZ</Symbol> <Amount>369.70</Amount> </Stock> </StockDate> </StockMarket> My approach so far is XDocument doc = new XDocument( new XElement("StockMarket", new XElement("StockDate", new XAttribute("Day", "02"),new XAttribute("Month","06"),new XAttribute("Year","2010")), new XElement("Stock") ) ); Since I am new to Linq to XML, I am presently struggling a lot and henceforth seeking for help. Using C#3.0 . Thanks

  • High CPU usage with Team Speak 3.0.0-rc2

    - by AlexTheBird
    The CPU usage is always around 40 percent. I use push-to-talk and I had uninstalled pulseaudio. Now I use Alsa. I don't even have to connect to a Server. By simply starting TS the cpu usage goes up 40 percent and stays there. The CPU usage of 3.0.0-rc1 [Build: 14468] is constantly 14 percent. This is the output of top, mpstat and ps aux while I am running TS3 ... of course: alexandros@alexandros-laptop:~$ top top - 18:20:07 up 2:22, 3 users, load average: 1.02, 0.85, 0.77 Tasks: 163 total, 1 running, 162 sleeping, 0 stopped, 0 zombie Cpu(s): 5.3%us, 1.9%sy, 0.1%ni, 91.8%id, 0.7%wa, 0.1%hi, 0.1%si, 0.0%st Mem: 2061344k total, 964028k used, 1097316k free, 69116k buffers Swap: 3997688k total, 0k used, 3997688k free, 449032k cached PID USER PR NI VIRT RES SHR S %CPU %MEM TIME+ COMMAND 2714 alexandr 20 0 206m 31m 24m S 37 1.6 0:12.78 ts3client_linux 868 root 20 0 47564 27m 10m S 8 1.4 3:21.73 Xorg 1 root 20 0 2804 1660 1204 S 0 0.1 0:00.53 init 2 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 kthreadd 3 root RT 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.01 migration/0 4 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.45 ksoftirqd/0 5 root RT 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 watchdog/0 6 root RT 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 migration/1 7 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.08 ksoftirqd/1 8 root RT 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 watchdog/1 9 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:01.17 events/0 10 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.81 events/1 11 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 cpuset 12 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 khelper 13 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 async/mgr 14 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 pm 16 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 sync_supers 17 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 bdi-default 18 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 kintegrityd/0 19 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 kintegrityd/1 20 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.05 kblockd/0 21 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.02 kblockd/1 22 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 kacpid 23 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 kacpi_notify 24 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 kacpi_hotplug 25 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.99 ata/0 26 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.92 ata/1 27 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 ata_aux 28 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 ksuspend_usbd 29 root 20 0 0 0 0 S 0 0.0 0:00.00 khubd alexandros@alexandros-laptop:~$ mpstat Linux 2.6.32-32-generic (alexandros-laptop) 16.06.2011 _i686_ (2 CPU) 18:20:15 CPU %usr %nice %sys %iowait %irq %soft %steal %guest %idle 18:20:15 all 5,36 0,09 1,91 0,68 0,07 0,06 0,00 0,00 91,83 alexandros@alexandros-laptop:~$ ps aux USER PID %CPU %MEM VSZ RSS TTY STAT START TIME COMMAND root 1 0.0 0.0 2804 1660 ? UPDATE: Thanks to nickguletskii's link I googled for "alsa cpu usage" (without quotes) and it brought me to a forum. A user wrote that by directly selecting the hardware with "plughw:x.x" won't impact the performance of the system. I have selected it in the TS 3 configuration and it worked. But this solution is not optimal because now no other program can access the sound output. If you need any further information or my question is unclear than please tell me.

  • ffmpeg - How to determine if -movflags faststart is enabled? PHP

    - by IIIOXIII
    While I am able to encode an mp4 file which I can plan on my local windows machine, I am having trouble encoding files to mp4 which are readable when streaming by safari, etc. After a bit of reading, I believe my issue is that I must move the metadata from the end of the file to the beginning in order for the converted mp4 files to be streamable. To that end, I am trying to find out if the build of ffmpeg that I am currently using is able to use the -movflags faststart option through php - as my current outputted mp4 files are not working when streamed online. This is the way I am now echoing the -help, -formats, -codecs, but I am not seeing anything about -movflags faststart in any of the lists: exec($ffmpegPath." -help", $codecArr); for($ii=0;$ii<count($codecArr);$ii++){ echo $codecArr[$ii].'</br>'; } Is there a similar method of determining if -movflags fastart is available to my ffmpeg build? Any other way? Should it be listed with any of the previously suggested commands? -help/-formats? Can someone that knows it is enabled in their version of ffmpeg check to see if it is listed under -help or -formats, etc.? TIA. • Make vmware virtual machine from HDD with bad sectros

    - by mike1616
    I have a notebook with a bad HDD (it has bad sectors). I would like make a virtual disk with VMware workstation from this computer. I installed VMware Workstation & VMware vCenter Converter Standalone Client on this notebook, then I used virtualize a physical machine. It started procedure but at 38% I got this error: FAILED: An error occurred during the conversion: 'BlockLevelVolumeCloneMgr::CloneVolume: Detected a write error during the cloning of volume \WindowsBitmapDriverVolumeId=[39-06-3A-06-00-02-13-4C-1D-00-00-00]. Error: 209 (type: 1, code: 13)' I Googled it and I think it means that I have bad sectors on the HDD. How can I solve this problem and make a virtual machine from HDD with bad sectors?

  • Bind ADFS 2.0 service to a specific IP address

    - by ccellar
    I have one server with ADFS-2.0 and a few websites on it. One of the websites is Dynamics CRM which listens on a specific IP address on port 443. Dynamics CRM provides a metadata file for configuration purposes which could be used to configure a relaying party trust with ADFS. It is accessible with the URL https://auth.contoso.com/FederationMetadata/2007-06/federationmetadata.xml The problem is that ADFS-2.0 installs a service which registers following urlacl https://+:443/FederationMetadata/2007-06/ This means the result of accessing the URL https://auth.contoso.com/FederationMetadata/2007-06/federationmetadata.xml is the metadata file of ADFS, not the one of Dynamics CRM. I've tried to delete the default urlacl and added (one of them at a time) https://192.168.1.2:443/FederationMetadata/2007-06/ https://adfs.mydomain.com:443/FederationMetadata/2007-06/ but neither of them worked. Instead the ADFS-service failed to startup complete. Is there any way to bind this service to a IP address? At the moment I see only two alternatives Bind the service to a non standard port. This leads to problems because this means that also the ADFS website has to use a non-standard HTTPS-port. Install ADFS-2.0 on a different server (this is my favorite alternative - however it is not possible in every situation...)

  • Can't clone gitosis-admin.git local from my snow leopard server running gitosis

    - by joggink
    I've installed gitosis as described here: http://gist.github.com/264304 One of the things that I had to adjust was to give my git user permissions to use ssh (which I did trough server admin - access - ssh and added the 'git' user). When I ssh from my local machine (mac osx) as the git user, I get this response: PTY allocation request failed on channel 0 bash: gitosis-serve: command not found Connection to 10.0.0.108 closed. Which I think is normal, because in Pro GIT the author says you should get something like this if you try ssh'ing to the server using your git user: PTY allocation request failed on channel 0 fatal: unrecognized command 'gitosis-serve schacon@quaternion' Connection to gitserver closed. So far so good, I think? Now when I try to clone my gitosis-admin.git repository using this command: $git clone [email protected]:gitosis-admin.git I get this: Initialized empty Git repository in /Users/joggink/gitosis-admin/.git/ bash: gitosis-serve: command not found fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly So after doing some searching, I found an answer here on serverfault claiming I should use ssh:// as protocol for my git clone (which I thought is the default git protocol?) However, when I try: $git clone ssh://[email protected]:gitosis-admin.git This is the response: The authenticity of host ' (::1)' can't be established. RSA key fingerprint is 80:4d:77:c7:78:cb:c9:42:e3:82:06:7c:fe:c0:08:ce. Are you sure you want to continue connecting (yes/no)? yes Warning: Permanently added '' (RSA) to the list of known hosts. Password: Password: Password: Permission denied (publickey,keyboard-interactive). fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly When I type in my own password (because my git user has no password), I get following error: The authenticity of host ' (::1)' can't be established. Password: bash: git-upload-pack: command not found fatal: The remote end hung up unexpectedly I added my upload-pack location as followed: $git clone -u /usr/local/git/bin/git-upload-pack ssh://[email protected]:gitosis-admin.git I get the error that gitosis-admin.git isn't a git repo... Initialized empty Git repository in /Users/joggink/gitosis-admin/.git/ The authenticity of host ' (::1)' can't be established. RSA key fingerprint is 80:4d:77:c7:78:cb:c9:42:e3:82:06:7c:fe:c0:08:ce. • Metro apps crash on startup, driver or permissions issue?

    - by Vee
    After installing Win8 x64 RC, Metro apps worked correctly, but desktop OpenGL apps were slow and unresponsive. I installed the latest Win8 nVidia drivers, and the OpenGL apps started working correctly. At the same time, because of annoying permission messages, I changed the C:\ drive and all its files ownerships to my user, and gave it full permission. I restarted my pc after installing the drivers, and now Metro apps only show the splash screen, then crash. I tried installing other versions of the nVidia drivers, with the same result. My GPU is a GeForce GTX275. Is this a known problem with nVidia drivers? Or maybe changing the ownership of C:\ is the real problem? Thank you. More information (after looking in the event viewer) I've managed to find the problem and the error in the Event Viewer. I still cannot solve it. Here's the information I found by opening the Mail app and letting it crash: Log Name: Microsoft-Windows-TWinUI/Operational Source: Microsoft-Windows-Immersive-Shell Date: 07/06/2012 15.54.17 Event ID: 5961 Task Category: (5961) Level: Error Keywords: User: VEE-PC\Vittorio Computer: vee-pc Description: Activation of the app microsoft.windowscommunicationsapps_8wekyb3d8bbwe!Microsoft.WindowsLive.Mail for the Windows.Launch contract failed with error: The app didn't start.. • GRUB doesn't recognize partitions on one harddisk

    - by knizz
    I have a dualboot computer with Windows Vista (on hd0) and Ubuntu 9.10. The bootloader is GRUB and the windows bootloader lets me decide between Vista and Ubuntu-Installation (broken WuBi). But now (i don't know why that changed) I can't use start the windows-bootloader anymore. I tried "ls" on the grub-prompt and it gave me a list like: (hd0) (hd1) (hd1,0) (hd1,1) (hd1,2) ... (fd0) It recognizes all partitions of hd1 (the ubuntu-harddisk) but not of hd0(the win-disk). .. WHY?     access_log shows the following entries repeatedly, seems like it is polling some thing. There were so many entries keep on adding to the log, making it difficult to debug for actual error message. aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd - - [07/Nov/2012:00:02:48 -0800] "HEAD /index.html HTTP/1.1" 200 - abc.bcd.cda.dab - - [07/Nov/2012:00:02:50 -0800] "GET /error/404.html HTTP/1.0" 200 7001 abc.bcd.cda.dac - - [07/Nov/2012:00:02:51 -0800] "GET /error/404.html HTTP/1.0" 200 7001 abc.bcd.cda.dab - - [07/Nov/2012:00:02:56 -0800] "GET /error/404.html HTTP/1.0" 200 7001 abc.bcd.cda.dac - - [07/Nov/2012:00:02:56 -0800] "GET /error/404.html HTTP/1.0" 200 7001 abc.bcd.cda.dab - - [07/Nov/2012:00:03:01 -0800] "GET /error/404.html HTTP/1.0" 200 7001 abc.bcd.cda.dac - - [07/Nov/2012:00:03:01 -0800] "GET /error/404.html HTTP/1.0" 200 7001 abc.bcd.cda.dab - - [07/Nov/2012:00:03:06 -0800] "GET /error/404.html HTTP/1.0" 200 7001 abc.bcd.cda.dac - - [07/Nov/2012:00:03:06 -0800] "GET /error/404.html HTTP/1.0" 200 7001 aaa.bbb.ccc.ddd - - [07/Nov/2012:00:03:08 -0800] "HEAD /index.html HTTP/1.1" 200 - how to avoid these repeating entries?

  • Logging Timeout'd Request in Apache 2.X

    - by m3rLinEz
    Hello, I am migrating some applications from Apache 1.3 to 2.2. We used to run some tests where attacker opens some HTTP connection to our server, and do nothing. Apache 1.3 would log the following 408 code, for example: 126.1.86.85 - - [01/Dec/2010:06:26:19 +0000] "-" 408 - "-" 0 126.1.86.85 - - [01/Dec/2010:06:26:19 +0000] "-" 408 - "-" 0 But with Apache 2.2, nothing is logged to the log file. I run the same test by using netcat to open the connection: $ nc IP_victim PORT_victim $ nc 10.42.37.3 80 I would like to have Apache 2.2 log the same 408 code to the log file, so that we would know of attempted DoS attack from the outside. Do I need any more configuration in Apache 2 to enable this? I have tried some different configurations such as LogLevel = Debug, Timeout 30, RequestReadTimeout header=10 body=30. Thanks.

  • Tab title is wrong with ssh/screen on osx

    - by sds
    I am doing ssh -t host screen -D -RR in OS X (10.9) terminal tabs. My ~/.screenrc is identical on all remote hosts and contain the following line: hardstatus string "%H(%n:%t)$USER %h" My ~/.bashrc is also identical on all hosts. When I login to host host_u (Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS) running Screen version 4.00.03jw4 (FAU) 2-May-06, the tab title on the OS X terminal is host_u(1:bash)sds ~, as expected. When I login to host host_c (CentOS release 6.3 (Final)) running Screen version 4.00.03 (FAU) 23-Oct-06, the tab title on the OS X terminal is ~/FooBar (which is the local OS X directory from which I ran the ssh/screen command. Problem: the hardstatus line does not work on host_c.

  • PowerShell filter vs. function

    - by Marcel Janus
    I'm reading currently the Windows PowerShell 3.0 Step by Step book to get some more insights to PowerShell. On page 201 the author demonstrates that a filter is faster than the function with the same functionally. This script takes 2.6 seconds on his computer: MeasureaddOneFilter.ps1 Filter AddOne { "add one filter" $_ + 1 } and this one 4.6 seconds MeasureaddOneFunction.ps1 Function AddOne { "Add One Function" While ($input.moveNext()) { $input.current + 1 } } If I run this code is get the exact opposite of his result: .\MeasureAddOneFilter.ps1 Days : 0 Hours : 0 Minutes : 0 Seconds : 0 Milliseconds : 226 Ticks : 2266171 TotalDays : 2,62288310185185E-06 TotalHours : 6,29491944444444E-05 TotalMinutes : 0,00377695166666667 TotalSeconds : 0,2266171 TotalMilliseconds : 226,6171 .\MeasureAddOneFunction.ps1 Days : 0 Hours : 0 Minutes : 0 Seconds : 0 Milliseconds : 93 Ticks : 933649 TotalDays : 1,08061226851852E-06 TotalHours : 2,59346944444444E-05 TotalMinutes : 0,00155608166666667 TotalSeconds : 0,0933649 TotalMilliseconds : 93,3649 Can someone explain this to me?

  • How do I permanently delete e-mail messages in the sendmail queue and keep them from coming back?

    - by Steven Oxley
    I have a pretty annoying problem here. I have been testing an application and have created some test e-mails to bogus e-mail addresses (not to mention that my server isn't really set up to send e-mail anyway). Of course, sendmail is not able to send these messages and they have been getting stuck in the sendmail queue. I want to manually delete the messages that have been building up in the queue instead of waiting the 5 days that sendmail usually takes to stop retrying. I am using Ubuntu 10.04 and /var/spool/mqueue/ is the directory in which every how-to I have read says the e-mails that are queued up are kept. When I delete the files in this directory, sendmail stops trying to process the e-mails until what appears to be a cron script runs and re-populates this directory with the messages I don't want sent. Here are some lines from my syslog: Jun 2 17:35:19 sajo-laptop sm-mta[9367]: o530SlbK009365: to=, ctladdr= (33/33), delay=00:06:27, xdelay=00:06:22, mailer=esmtp, pri=120418, relay=e.mx.mail.yahoo.com. • Install Git on my Media Temple (dv) 4.0 server

    - by Chris
    I'm trying to install Git on my Media Temple (dv) 4.0 server. I've followed these instructions: http://wiki.mediatemple.net/w/%28dv%29_4.0:Install_GIT It seems to have "installed", as there are a boat load of files in the following directory: /root/git-2012-06-06 However, when I perform any git command in the server: git: command not found My assumption is that something, somewhere isn't configured properly, but I have no idea where to start. Could anybody lend a hand / offer some pointers? (And if you hadn't guessed, I'm pretty new to all this, so please be kind!) Thanks very much Chris

It sends an alert email if space runs low, but I want to also delete some unneeded stuff. I have a backup folder where I save daily and monthly backups. I want to delete the first folder since this always the oldest, but I don't know the name of the oldest backup. My folders without Jan-May and Dec: 06-01 07-01 08-01 09-01 10-01 11-01 Friday Monday Saturday Sunday Thursday Tuesday Wednesday How can I delete the first folder "06-01" without knowing its name?

  • Apply SetEnvIf after Apache RewriteRule

    - by coneybeare
    I have a working apache rewrite rule: RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^.*foo.com RewriteRule (.*) http://bar.com$1 [R=301,QSA,L] and some working dontlog SetEnvIfs: SetEnvIf Request_URI "^/server-status$" dontlog SetEnvIf Request_URI "^/home/ping$" dontlog SetEnvIf Request_URI "^/haproxy-status$" dontlog SetEnvIf User-Agent ".*internal dummy connection.*" dontlog CustomLog /var/log/apache2/access.log combined env=!dontlog but I can't figure out how to stop the RewriteRule from logging a duplicate line. foo.com and bar.com are both on the same machine. I would expect this rule to work, but it did not: SetEnvIf Host "foo.com" dontlog I still get duplicates in the Apache Log: 10.250.18.97 - - [06/Apr/2012:16:57:12 +0000] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 732 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_7_3) AppleWebKit/534.55.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1.5 Safari/534.55.3" 68.194.30.42 - - [06/Apr/2012:16:57:12 +0000] "GET / HTTP/1.1" 200 732 "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_7_3) AppleWebKit/534.55.3 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.1.5 Safari/534.55.3" .... where 10.250.18.97 is the server's IP. How can I prevent that RewriteRule from logging?

  • Install Git on a Media Temple (dv) 4.0 server

    - by Chris
    I'm trying to install Git on my Media Temple (dv) 4.0 server. I've followed these instructions. It seems to have "installed", as there are a boat-load of files in the /root/git-2012-06-06 directory. However, when I perform any git command in the server, I receive this message: git: command not found My assumption is that something, somewhere is not configured properly, but I have no idea where to start. Could anybody lend a hand / offer some pointers? (And if you hadn't guessed, I'm pretty new to all this, so please be kind!)

  • AsyncTask, inner classes and Buttons states

    - by Intern John Smith
    For a musical application (a sequencer), I have a few buttons static ArrayList<Button> Buttonlist = new ArrayList<Button>(); Buttonlist.add(0,(Button) findViewById(R.id.case_kick1)); Buttonlist.add(1,(Button) findViewById(R.id.case_kick2)); Buttonlist.add(2,(Button) findViewById(R.id.case_kick3)); Buttonlist.add(3,(Button) findViewById(R.id.case_kick4)); Buttonlist.add(4,(Button) findViewById(R.id.case_kick5)); Buttonlist.add(5,(Button) findViewById(R.id.case_kick6)); Buttonlist.add(6,(Button) findViewById(R.id.case_kick7)); Buttonlist.add(7,(Button) findViewById(R.id.case_kick8)); that I activate through onClickListeners with for example Buttonlist.get(0).setActivated(true); I played the activated sound via a loop and ifs : if (Buttonlist.get(k).isActivated()) {mSoundManager.playSound(1); Thread.sleep(250);} The app played fine but I couldn't access the play/pause button when it was playing : I searched and found out about AsyncTasks. I have a nested class PlayPause : class PlayPause extends AsyncTask<ArrayList<Button>,Integer,Void> in which I have this : protected Void doInBackground(ArrayList<Button>... params) { for(int k=0;k<8;k++) { boolean isPlayed = false; if (Buttonlist.get(k).isActivated()) { mSoundManager.playSound(1); isPlayed = true; try {Thread.sleep(250); } catch (InterruptedException e) {e.printStackTrace();}} if(!isPlayed){ try {Thread.sleep(250);} catch (InterruptedException e) {e.printStackTrace();} } } return null; } I launch it via Play.setOnClickListener(new PlayClickListener()); with PlayClickListener : public class PlayClickListener implements OnClickListener { private Tutorial acti; public PlayClickListener(){ super(); } @SuppressWarnings("unchecked") public void onClick(View v) { if(Tutorial.play==0){ Tutorial.play=1; Tutorial.Play.setBackgroundResource(R.drawable.action_down); acti = new Tutorial(); Tutorial.PlayPause myPlayPause = acti.new PlayPause(); myLecture.execute(Tutorial.Buttonlist); } else { Tutorial.play=0; Tutorial.lecture.cancel(true); Tutorial.Play.setBackgroundResource(R.drawable.action); } } } But it doesn't work. when I click on buttons and I touch Play/Pause, I have this : 07-02 11:06:01.350: E/AndroidRuntime(7883): FATAL EXCEPTION: AsyncTask #1 07-02 11:06:01.350: E/AndroidRuntime(7883): Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException 07-02 11:06:01.350: E/AndroidRuntime(7883): at com.Tutorial.Tutorial$PlayPause.doInBackground(Tutorial.java:603) 07-02 11:06:01.350: E/AndroidRuntime(7883): at com.Tutorial.Tutorial$PlayPause.doInBackground(Tutorial.java:1) And I don't know how to get rid of this error. Obviously, the Asynctask doesn't find the Buttonlist activated status, even if the list is static. I don't know how to access these buttons' states, isPressed doesn't work either. Thanks for reading and helping me !
