    Hi, i'm developing an enterprise application using asp.net mvc, wf-wcf services and normal wcf. I want use a unique point of view of unmanaged exception and my problem is integrate wf-wcf services with ELMAH. The problem is that in wf-wcf i can't decorate di class with the elmah attribute so i make that using web.config if is possible. Someone can help me?   • How can i generate mongoid.yml config in Rail 2.3.5?

    As the title says, how can i generate the default mongoid.yml config file on Rail 2.3.5? I try to use te ´rails generate mongoid:config´ command but it just generates a new app. And also, i would like to use has_many in mongoid without embeding the associated model in the same field. I would like them to be in seperate fields and associated through a *_id "column". Is that possible? Thank you, Micke.

  • Loading a ConfigurationSection with a required child ConfigurationElement with .Net configuration fr

    I have a console application that is trying to load a CustomConfigurationSection from a web.config file. The custom configuration section has a custom configuration element that is required. This means that when I load the config section, I expect to see an exception if that config element is not present in the config. The problem is that the .NET framework seems to be completely ignoring the isRequired attribute. So when I load the config section, I just creates an instance of the custom configuration element and sets it on the config section. My question is, why is this happening? I want the GetSection() method to fire a ConfigurationErrors exception since a required element is missing from the configuration.     We have a situation where we have a SSH-server running on a Windows host which we then use an ssh client in e.g. an xterm (or another vt100 compatible client) to connect to, and then get a DOS prompt (but without any GUI at all). Now we need to have a good editor on the Windows machine which will work out of the box in this scenario. I do not have any experience with this, so I do not know where to start. Suggestions?

    The problem: If i access SharePoint from Windows 7 with IE8 or Chrome5 - I must wait for like a minute to get a response. If i use other Windows 7 with IE8, just the same - just wait a MINUTE. If i use Firefox3.6 on W7 machine - page opens up instantly. Now switch to IE rendering engine in Firefox, you will have to wait just as with IE. Now i tried IE8 on XP SP3 - page opens up instantly. I tried IE8 on Windows Server 2003 SP2 (machine on which SharePoint is hosted) - page opens up instantly.   • I am unable to connect to my netbook from any machine on my network until the netbook has pinged it

    I have a rather strange issue with my netbook on my local network. When trying to connect to it in any way from a remote system it does not appear to find it. However if I get the netbook to ping the machine trying to connect it mystically appears to work. Below is the ping test from my main PC to the netbook.   • Remote Desktop triggers a loud Beep on local machine - how to shut it up?

    When I remote desktop into a server, I get a loud beep coming out of my local machine whenever certain messageboxes pop up. (An example is to search for something in the Event Log - when the search finds no results, I get a message box accompanied by a loud beep) Annoyingly, the beep still happens even if I have sound turned off locally or the volume right down - it seems to be hooking in to some low level OS-beep mechanism. Any way to turn it off?
