    I am moving my blog to a new domain. I am trying to do this through .htaccess. While the redirect is okay - the output URL is 'ugly' example in old domain .htaccess file: redirect 301 /archives/2009/06/02/hello-world/ http://indiapoint.net/archives/2009/06/02/hello-world/ So if we click http://www.i3pep.org/archives/2009/06/02/hello-world/ the redirect is to http://indiapoint.net/archives/2009/06/02/hello-world/?year=2009&monthnum=06&day=02&name=hello-world&page= Please suggest what should be done thanks Anup

    In a Django template, how could I refer to the URL. I want to use it in static pages, to avoid having live links to the current page. Is there a way to do this with the Django template language or do I have to use JavaScript to do it? I would like to do something like {% if current_url == "/about/" %} About {% else %} <a href='/about/'>About</a> {% endif %} I'm using it for a simple blog, so there are no views written for those pages.

    I have two forms on one page and want to have the input boxes focused based on the URL. So for example: domain.com/Default.aspx#login and domain.com/Default.aspx#register and the javascript I have this: window.document.getElementById('<%=txtUserName.ClientID %>').focus(); window.document.getElementById('<%=txtEmail.ClientID %>').focus(); it might be better if the urls are Default.aspx?action=login actually (not sure if this effects the way in which it would work)

So my code is : [[UIApplication sharedApplication] openURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"tel://18"]]; It doesn't work and I get this message in the console : < warning Ignoring unsafe request to open URL tel://18 But I saw other application that have the same button fully working ! I am trying this on the device of course. What am I missing ?

    so the problem is, i have a contenteditable div, with a keyup function binded. everytime somebody puts a youtube url in it, it has to be replaced by an embedded movie. i came up with a regex like this : content.match(/http:\/\/\w{0,3}.?youtube+\.\w{2,3}\/watch\?v=.*?(?=\s)/g); firefox wil do the replace after a whitespace, but in ie it won't work. any suggestions? thnx in advance!

    I have a database online that I would like to be able to load into an NSArray in my app. I can use arrayWithContentsOfURL with a static file, but I really need to go to a url that generates a plist file from the database and loading it into the array. I can use ASP or PHP. I tried setting the response type to "text/xml", but that doesn't help. Any thoughts?

    I would like to rewrite dynamic URL /index.php?pid=login&redirect=/previous-page.html to something like this /login.html-r-previous-page.html I tried this RewriteRule ^login.html-r-(.*)$ /index.php?pid=login&redirect=$1 [L] But no succes. I was also trying to change the regex to .+ or some other forms, but it seems useless. Maybe I am making mistake somewhere else. I am new to regular expressions and also mod_rewrite. My app downloaded the .mp3 file successful and then played it. However, after a few days, I run my app again, the app can't downloaded the .mp3 file. How can I download the .mp3 file all the time?     I have a desktop forms application . I want to fetch any flash file embedded from a given html page. I used this approach: parse the html page(using htmlagilitypack) to get hold of direct url of any embedded flash, then fetch the file. But this approach wouldn't work if relative paths are used. How else can a flash file embedded in an html page be downloaded ? ty
