  • How to pass parameters to manage_shared_memory.construct() in Boost.Interprocess

    - by recipriversexclusion
    I've stared at the Boost.Interprocess documentation for hours but still haven't been able to figure this out. In the doc, they have an example of creating a vector in shared memory like so: //Define an STL compatible allocator of ints that allocates from the managed_shared_memory. //This allocator will allow placing containers in the segment typedef allocator<int, managed_shared_memory::segment_manager> ShmemAllocator; //Alias a vector that uses the previous STL-like allocator so that allocates //its values from the segment typedef vector<int, ShmemAllocator> MyVector; int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { //Create a new segment with given name and size managed_shared_memory segment(create_only, "MySharedMemory", 65536); //Initialize shared memory STL-compatible allocator const ShmemAllocator alloc_inst (segment.get_segment_manager()); //Construct a vector named "MyVector" in shared memory with argument alloc_inst MyVector *myvector = segment.construct<MyVector>("MyVector")(alloc_inst); Now, I understand this. What I'm stuck is how to pass a second parameter to segment.construct() to specify the number of elements. The interprocess document gives the prototype for construct() as MyType *ptr = managed_memory_segment.construct<MyType>("Name") (par1, par2...); but when I try MyVector *myvector = segment.construct<MyVector>("MyVector")(100, alloc_inst); I get compilation errors. My questions are: Who actually gets passed the parameters par1, par2 from segment.construct, the constructor of the object, e.g. vector? My understanding is that the template allocator parameter is being passed. Is that correct? How can I add another parameter, in addition to alloc_inst that is required by the constructor of the object being created in shared memory? There's very little information other than the terse Boost docs on this.

  • How is the RIP loaded when an interrupt arrives in an IA-32e 64-bit IDT Gate Descriptor?

    - by Vern
    I need some help with the programming of an IA-32e Interrupt Descriptor as I'm pretty new to it. I don't think I quite understand how the RIP is loaded when an Interrupt arrives. There is a Segment Selector in Intel's 64-bit IDT Gate Descriptor. However, from my understanding across the 5 part Intel manuals, the Linear Address of the Interrupt Handler is loaded into RIP from the 64-bit offset specified in the IDT Gate Descriptor. The only use of the segment selector is to check: if there is a change in privilege levels the Interrupt Handler is truly pointing to a code segment My questions are: Is RIP taken from the 64-bit offset only? Or is RIP = offset(sign extended to 64-bits) + segment selector base? Is the base address pointed to by the segment selector in the IDT Gate Descriptor ignored? Or does it have a use?

  • underline line thickness always one pixel...

    - by Mark
    ...regardless of font size. Its an mx:Text object. (The Text object is actually being used as a mask so don't know if that's the problem.) If underline is set with the <u> tag in Text.htmlText, or Text.textField.setTextFormat, the underline thickness is always just one pixel which is not acceptable. (There are other problems with <u> so I'm limited to using setTextFormat currently.) Can the thickness of an underline be set through CSS? (textField.styleSheet, etc.) I may have another problem as I already use setTextFormat extensively, and the documentation says you can't use textField.setTextFormat if you use textField.setStyleSheet. I primarily need the underline to simulate correctly the look for an anchor tag.

  • jqGrid Coloring an entire line in Grid based upon a cells value

    - by Thomas
    Hi all, i know it's been asked before but i cant get it to run and i'm out of things to try. So i want to colorize a row in a Grid if its value is not 1 - i use a custom formatter for this. The formatter itself works, thats not the problem. I've tried multple ways I've found so far on the web - adding a class, directly adding css code, using setRowData, using setCell.... Here are my examples - none of them worked for me (linux, ff363) - any pointer would be gratly appreciated. 27.05.2010_00:00:00-27.05.2010_00:00:00 is my row id <style> .state_inactive { background-color: red !important; } .state_active { background-color: green !important; } </style> function format_state (cellvalue, options, rowObject) { var elem='#'+options.gid; if (cellvalue != 1) { jQuery('#list2').setRowData(options.rowID,'', {'background-color':'#FF6F6F'}); jQuery('#list2').setRowData('27.05.2010_00:00:00-27.05.2010_00:00:00', '',{'background-color':'#FF6F6F'}); for (var cnt=0;cnt<rowObject.length;cnt=cnt+1) { jQuery(elem).setCell(options.rowId,cnt,'','state_inactive',''); jQuery(elem).setCell('"'+options.rowId+'"',cnt,'','state_inactive'); jQuery(elem).setCell('"'+options.rowId+'"',cnt,'5', {'background-color':'#FF6F6F'},''); } } else { for (var cnt=0;cnt<rowObject.length;cnt=cnt+1) { jQuery(elem).setCell(options.rowId,cnt,'','state_active',''); } } <!-- dont modify, we simply added the class above--> return cellvalue; } Thanks, Thomas

  • VisualForce: convert carriage returns to html line-breaks in a long text field

    - by codeulike
    In Salesforce, if I'm binding a text field into a VisualForce page, whats a good way to convert the carriage returns in the text-field into HTML <br/> tags? e.g. starting from something like this: <apex:page standardController="Case"> <apex:pageBlock title="Test"> <p>{!case.Description}</p> </apex:pageBlock> <apex:detail relatedList="false" /> </apex:page> ... if the Description is very long with lots of carriage returns, how do I HTML-ify it? (I guess this is a fairly easy question, and I'm sure I could google it, but to get the Salesforce community going on here I figure we need a few easy questions.)

  • Django - no module named app

    - by Koran
    Hi, I have been trying to get an application written in django working - but it is not working at all. I have been working on for some time too - and it is working on dev-server perfectly. But I am unable to put in the production env (apahce). My project name is apstat and the app name is basic. I try to access it as following Blockquote http://hostname/apstat But it shows the following error: MOD_PYTHON ERROR ProcessId: 6002 Interpreter: 'domU-12-31-39-06-DD-F4.compute-1.internal' ServerName: 'domU-12-31-39-06-DD-F4.compute-1.internal' DocumentRoot: '/home/ubuntu/server/' URI: '/apstat/' Location: '/apstat' Directory: None Filename: '/home/ubuntu/server/apstat/' PathInfo: '' Phase: 'PythonHandler' Handler: 'django.core.handlers.modpython' Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/mod_python/importer.py", line 1537, in HandlerDispatch default=default_handler, arg=req, silent=hlist.silent) File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/mod_python/importer.py", line 1229, in _process_target result = _execute_target(config, req, object, arg) File "/usr/lib/python2.6/dist-packages/mod_python/importer.py", line 1128, in _execute_target result = object(arg) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/core/handlers/modpython.py", line 228, in handler return ModPythonHandler()(req) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/core/handlers/modpython.py", line 201, in __call__ response = self.get_response(request) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/core/handlers/base.py", line 134, in get_response return self.handle_uncaught_exception(request, resolver, exc_info) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/core/handlers/base.py", line 154, in handle_uncaught_exception return debug.technical_500_response(request, *exc_info) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/views/debug.py", line 40, in technical_500_response html = reporter.get_traceback_html() File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/views/debug.py", line 114, in get_traceback_html return t.render(c) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/template/__init__.py", line 178, in render return self.nodelist.render(context) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/template/__init__.py", line 779, in render bits.append(self.render_node(node, context)) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/template/debug.py", line 81, in render_node raise wrapped TemplateSyntaxError: Caught an exception while rendering: No module named basic Original Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/template/debug.py", line 71, in render_node result = node.render(context) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/template/debug.py", line 87, in render output = force_unicode(self.filter_expression.resolve(context)) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/template/__init__.py", line 572, in resolve new_obj = func(obj, *arg_vals) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/template/defaultfilters.py", line 687, in date return format(value, arg) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/dateformat.py", line 269, in format return df.format(format_string) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/dateformat.py", line 30, in format pieces.append(force_unicode(getattr(self, piece)())) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/dateformat.py", line 175, in r return self.format('D, j M Y H:i:s O') File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/dateformat.py", line 30, in format pieces.append(force_unicode(getattr(self, piece)())) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/encoding.py", line 71, in force_unicode s = unicode(s) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/functional.py", line 201, in __unicode_cast return self.__func(*self.__args, **self.__kw) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/translation/__init__.py", line 62, in ugettext return real_ugettext(message) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/translation/trans_real.py", line 286, in ugettext return do_translate(message, 'ugettext') File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/translation/trans_real.py", line 276, in do_translate _default = translation(settings.LANGUAGE_CODE) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/translation/trans_real.py", line 194, in translation default_translation = _fetch(settings.LANGUAGE_CODE) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/translation/trans_real.py", line 180, in _fetch app = import_module(appname) File "/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.6/django/utils/importlib.py", line 35, in import_module __import__(name) ImportError: No module named basic My settings.py is as follows: INSTALLED_APPS = ( 'django.contrib.auth', 'django.contrib.contenttypes', 'django.contrib.sessions', 'django.contrib.sites', 'apstat.basic', 'django.contrib.admin', ) If I remove the apstat.basic, it goes through, but that is not a solution. • Implement DDD and drawing the line between the an Entity and value object

    - by William
    I am implementing an EMR project. I would like to apply a DDD based approach to the problem. I have identified the "Patient" as being the core object of the system. I understand Patient would be an entity object as well as an aggregrate. I have also identified that every patient must have a "Doctor" and "Medical Records". The medical records would encompass Labs, XRays, Encounter.... I believe those would be entity objects as well. Let us take a Encounter for example. My implementation currently has a few fields as "String" properties, which are the complaint, assessment and plan. The other items necessary for an Encounter are vitals. I have implemented vitals as a value object. Given that it will be necessary to retrieve vitals without haveing to retrieve each Encounter then do vitals become part of the Encounter aggregate and patient aggregrate. I am assuming I could view the Encounter as an aggregrate, because other items are spwaned from the Encounter like prescriptions, lab orders, xrays. Is approach right that I am taking in identifying my entities and aggregates. In the case of vitals, they are specific to a patient, but outside of that there is not any other identity associated with them.

  • cpptask ordering of static libraries in gcc command line

    - by AC
    How do I force cpptask to move the static libraries to the end on arg list issued to the compiler? Here is the clause I am using <cpptasks:cc description="appname" subsystem="console" objdir="obj" outfile="dist/app_test"> <compiler refid="testsslcc" /> <linkerarg value="-L${libdir}" /> <linkerarg value="-L/usr/local/devl/lib" /> <linkerarg value="-Wl,-rpath,../lib" /> <libset libs="unittest ${libs} dsg readline ncurses gcov" /> <fileset dir="test/obj" includes="main.o" /> <fileset dir="." includes="${TCFILES}" /> <fileset dir="../lib" includes="libboost_thread.a libboost_date_time.a" /> </cpptasks:cc> when this executes, libboost_thread.a libboost_date_time.a are first files in the argument list passed the compiler, gcc -ggdb -Wl,-export-dynamic -Wshadow -Wno-format-y2k ../../lib/libboost_date_time.a ../../lib/libboost_thread.a x.cpp ... which causes compiler error. By manually moving them to the end of the argument list, the application compiles without error. gcc -ggdb -Wl,-export-dynamic -Wshadow -Wno-format-y2k x.cpp ... ../../lib/libboost_date_time.a ../../lib/libboost_thread.a And yes I have tried changing the order in the xml, and that of course didn't work. For now I am using an exec task to call gcc with the files in the correct order but this of course is a hack.

  • Writing to a specific line of a file.

    - by helpmeh
    I have a .dat file with data like this in "James","Project5","15/05/2010","3" "Matt","Project1","01/05/2010","5" "Ellie","Project5","24/04/2010","1" "Ellie","Project2","10/05/2010","3" "Matt","Project3","03/05/2010","4" It gets written in with thise code. Private Sub Command2_Click() Open jobs For Append As #1 Write #1, Combo1, Combo3, Combo2, Text3 Close #1 End Sub I instead would like to write it to the file so that if a persons name is already in the file then it would just put the data in the file, under their that is already there but without the name. I can't figure out how to do this but this is what I would like it to end up like. "James","Project5","15/05/2010","3" "Matt","Project1","01/05/2010","5" "Ellie","Project5","24/04/2010","1" "Project2","10/05/2010","3" "Matt","Project3","03/05/2010","4" Any help would be fantastic!

  • Extracting a specific value from command-line output using powershell

    - by Andrew Shepherd
    I've just started learning PowerShell this morning, and I'm grappling with the basics. Here's the problem: I want to query subversion for the revision number of a repository, and then create a new directory with this revision number. The command svn_info outputs a number of label\value pairs, delimited by colons. For example Path: c# URL: file:///%5Copdy-doo/Archive%20(H)/Development/CodeRepositories/datmedia/Development/c%23 Repository UUID: b1d03fca-1949-a747-a1a0-046c2429f46a Revision: 58 Last Changed Rev: 58 Last Changed Date: 2011-01-12 11:36:12 +1000 (Wed, 12 Jan 2011) Here is my current code which solves the problem. Is there a way to do this with less code? I'm thinking that with the use of piping you could do this with one or two lines. I certainly shouldn't have to use a temporary file. $RepositoryRoot = "file:///%5Cdat-ftp/Archive%20(H)/Development/CodeRepositories/datmedia" $BuildBase="/Development/c%23" $RepositoryPath=$RepositoryRoot + $BuildBase # Outputing the info into a file svn info $RepositoryPath | Out-File -FilePath svn_info.txt $regex = [regex] '^Revision: (\d{1,4})' foreach($info_line in get-content "svn_info.txt") { $match = $regex.Match($info_line); if($match.Success) { $revisionNumber = $match.Groups[1]; break; } } "Revision number = " + $revisionNumber;

  • PCRE multi line matche problem

    - by Simone Margaritelli
    Hi guys, i have this C++ program (actually it's just a snippet) : #include <iostream> #include <pcre.h> #include <string> using namespace std; int main(){ string pattern = "<a\\s+href\\s*=\\s*\"([^\"]+)\"", html = "<html>\n" "<body>\n" "<a href=\"example_link_1\"/>\n" "<a href=\"example_link_2\"/>\n" "<a href=\"example_link_3\"/>\n" "</body>\n" "</html>"; int i, ccount, rc, *offsets, eoffset; const char *error; pcre *compiled; compiled = pcre_compile( pattern.c_str(), PCRE_CASELESS | PCRE_MULTILINE, &error, &eoffset, 0 ); if( !compiled ){ cerr << "Error compiling the regexp!!" << endl; return 0; } rc = pcre_fullinfo( compiled, 0, PCRE_INFO_CAPTURECOUNT, &ccount ); offsets = new int[ 3 * (ccount + 1) ]; rc = pcre_exec( compiled, 0, html.c_str(), html.length(), 0, 0, offsets, 3 * (ccount + 1) ); if( rc >= 0 ){ for( i = 1; i < rc; ++i ){ cout << "Match : " << html.substr( offsets[2*i], offsets[2*i+1] - offsets[2*i] ) << endl; } } else{ cout << "Sorry, no matches!" << endl; } delete [] offsets; return 0; } As you can see, i'm trying to match html links inside a buffer with the given regular expression (the \\s is \s escaped for C/C++ strings). But, even if in the buffer there are 3 links and the regexp is compiled with the PCRE_CASELESS and PCRE_MULTILINE flags, i match only one element : Match : example_link_1 Note: I start the loop fro index 1 because the pcre library returns the string that matched (not the match itself) as the first element, and the matches follows. What's wrong with this code? The regexp itself i think it's correct (tried in PHP for instance).

  • Use sed to replace first 8 and last 4 pipes on every line in a file

    - by Dan Watling
    Here's the situation, I have a text file that is pipe-delimited and one of fields contains pipe characters. I already have a sed script that will change it to be tab-delimited, but the problem is it's terribly slow. It will replace the first occurrence of a pipe 8 times, then replace the last occurrence of a pipe 4 times. I'm hoping there's a quicker way to do what I need. Any thoughts would be appreciated. Here's my current sed script: sed 's/|\(.*\)/\t/;s/|\(.*\)/\t/;s/|\(.*\)/\t/;s/|\(.*\)/\t/;s/|\(.*\)/\t/;s/|\(.*\)/\t/;s/|\(.*\)/\t/;s/|\(.*\)/\t/;s/|\(.*\)/\t/;s/\(.*\)|/\t/;s/\(.*\)|/\t/;s/\(.*\)|/\t/;s/\(.*\)|/\t/' $1 > $1.tab Thanks, -Dan

  • Resulting .exe from PyInstaller with wxPython crashing

    - by Helgi Hrafn Gunnarsson
    I'm trying to compile a very simple wxPython script into an executable by using PyInstaller on Windows Vista. The Python script is nothing but a Hello World in wxPython. I'm trying to get that up and running as a Windows executable before I add any of the features that the program needs to have. But I'm already stuck. I've jumped through some loops in regards to MSVCR90.DLL, MSVCP90.DLL and MSVCPM90.DLL, which I ended up copying from my Visual Studio installation (C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 9.0\VC\redist\x86\Microsoft.VC90.CRT). As according to the instructions for PyInstaller, I run: Command: Configure.py Output: I: computing EXE_dependencies I: Finding TCL/TK... I: could not find TCL/TK I: testing for Zlib... I: ... It's just one of those standard Windows Vista crashes. The script itself, guitest.py runs just fine by itself. It only crashes as an executable, and I'm completely lost. I don't even know what to look for, since nothing I've tried has returned any relevant results. Another file is generated as a result of the compilation process, called 'warnguitest.txt'. • New line and returns ignored in setMessageBody

    - by Magic Bullet Dave
    Am I doing something dumb? I can pre-fill and email ok but the "\r\n" is ignored in the emailBody: - (void) sendEventInEmail { MFMailComposeViewController *picker = [[MFMailComposeViewController alloc] init]; picker.mailComposeDelegate = self; NSString *emailSubject = [eventDictionary objectForKey:EVENT_NAME_KEY]; [picker setSubject:emailSubject]; // Fill out the email body text NSString *iTunesLink = @"http://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/whats-on-reading/id347859140?mt=8"; // Link to iTune App link NSString *content = [eventDictionary objectForKey:@"Description"]; NSString *emailBody = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@\r\nSent using <a href = '%@'>What's On Reading</a> for the iPhone.", content, iTunesLink]; [picker setMessageBody:emailBody isHTML:YES]; picker.navigationBar.barStyle = UIBarStyleBlack; [self presentModalViewController:picker animated:YES]; [picker release]; } Regards Dave

  • Execute Command Line Java program in background

    - by Mark Szymanski
    Is it possible to execute a Java program in the background so the user can execute other commands in front of it? For instance, here is how the console might look for said program: $ myProgram (executes program) Program Started! (output from myProgram) $ (the user can enter another UNIX command while myProgram is still running) Thanks in advance!

  • XSLT: look for a word and it's context

    - by farhad
    Hello! I need to search a word and it's context into an xml. For example <line>hello world, my name is farhad and i'm having trouble with xslt</line> looking for 'and', context of 3 words: <line>hello world, my <span class="context">name is farhad <span class="word">and</span> i'm having</span> trouble with xslt</line> How can i do? I wrote some xslt to find the word, but i can't go back 3 words to set span. This is my xslt: <xsl:variable name="delimiters">[,.;!?\s"()]+</xsl:variable> <xsl:template match="/"> <xsl:apply-templates select="//line"/> </xsl:template> <xsl:template match="line"> <line> <xsl:for-each select="tokenize(.,'\s')"> <xsl:choose> <!-- se l'ultimo carattere è di punteggiatura, prendo la sottostringa senza la punteggiatura --> <xsl:when test="compare(replace(.,$delimiters,'$1'),'red') = 0"> <span class="word"> <xsl:value-of select="."/> </span> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise> <xsl:value-of select="."/> <xsl:choose> <xsl:when test="position()=last()"> <xsl:text></xsl:text> </xsl:when> <xsl:otherwise> <xsl:text> </xsl:text> </xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose> </xsl:otherwise> </xsl:choose> </xsl:for-each> </line><xsl:text> </xsl:text> </xsl:template> This is an example xml: http://pastebin.com/eAVM9CDQ . I have to search for context also on preceding tags, for example: <line>hello world,</line> <line>my name</line> <line>is farhad </line> <line>and i'm having</line> <line>trouble with xslt</line> so, looking for 'and', context of 3 words: <line>hello world,</line> <line>my <span class="context">name</line> <line>is farhad </line> <line><span class="word">and</span> i'm having</span></line> <line>trouble with xslt</line> with problems of overlapping, but now it's not a problem (i think i know how manage it). How can i search a word and its context? Thank you very much.

  • SQL Server 2008 Splitting string variable number of token per line

    - by josephj1989
    I have a fairly simple requirement -I have a table with the following (relevant) structure. with cte as( select 1 id,'AA,AB,AC,AD' names union all select 2,'BA,BB' union all select 3,'CA,CB,CC,CD,CE' union all select 4,'DA,DB,DC' ) i would like to create a select statement which will split each "names" column into multiple rows. For example the first row should produce 1,'AA' 1,'AB' 1,'AC' 1,'AD' Can we do it using only SQL. This is failry easy to do in Oracle.
