    here is my xml DOM. <entities> <entity id="7006276"> <title>xxx</title> <entities> <entity id="7877579"> <title>xxx</title> <entities> i want to get the 'entity' with id 7006276 so i could access its child 'entities' to create some 'entity' elements for it. i have tried: $xmlElementById = $this->DOMDocument_object->getElementById('7006276'); but it doesnt seem to work. any idea how i get it so i can create more 'entity' elements?

If you are getting the listview item why does the code set the parameters of the item being retrieved? If you already had the values there would be no need to retrieve them. Secondly near the comment "original" is the original line of code which will compile with a warning under embedded visual c++ 4.0, but if you copy the exact same code into visual studio 2008 it will not compile. Since I did not write any of this code, and am trying to learn, is it possible the original author made a mistake on this line? The *pRoot should point to HKEY type yet he is casting to an HTREEITEM type which should never work since the data types don't match?

After population I see the text I want using getTable("tableLister.listTable.1.1") The table also has a class=clsDisplayTableBody. I want to click the check box in column 0 for the row of interest. So far I havent got as far as dealing with the count as I'm getting a huge number of results with some 250+ per customer. I assume this is to do with the way I'm joining tables. Schema wise the booking_record table contains a tour reference code, which links to tour_hotel which then contains a hotelcode which links to hotelrecord. This hotelrecord table contains the hotelgroup. The client table is joined to the booking_record via a booking reference and a client may have many bookings. If anyone could suggest a way for me to do this I'd be very grateful and hopefully learn enough to do it myself next time! I've been scratching my head over this one for a few hours now!     Hello, I am trying to implement my own transport layer protocol in Linux for an experiment. I am going to use socket interface and add my protocol using sock_register. For the proto_ops i can see that the parameters for the sendmsg and recvmsg are (struct kiocb *iocb, struct socket *sock, struct msghdr *msg, size_t len, int flags). But there are three types of user api's send, sendto, sendmsg. Of these three only sendmsg contains a parameter for msghdr. I find that the other two api's are incompatible with the parameters supplied by the kernel to my kernel-space sendmsg function. So what happens when we use send and sendto user-space api's?     Hi, I'm writing a facebook style messaging system for a Rails App and I'm having trouble selecting the Messages for the inbox (with will_paginate). The messages are organized in threads, in the inbox the most recent message of a thread will appear with a link to it's thread. The thread is organized via a parent_id 1-n relationship with itself. So far I'm using something like this: class Message < ActiveRecord::Base belongs_to :sender, :class_name => 'User', :foreign_key => "sender_id" belongs_to :recipient, :class_name => 'User', :foreign_key => "recipient_id" has_many :children, :class_name => "Message", :foreign_key => "parent_id" belongs_to :thread, :class_name => "Message", :foreign_key => "parent_id" end class MessagesController < ApplicationController def inbox @messages = current_user.received_messages.paginate :page => params[:page], :per_page => 10, :order => "created_at DESC" end end That gives me all the messages, but for one thread the thread itself and the most recent message will appear (and not only the most recent message). I can also not use the GROUP BY clause, because for the thread itself (the parent so to say) the parent_id = nil of course. Anyone got an idea on how to solve this in an elegant way? I already thought about adding the parent_id to the parent itself and then group by parent_id, but I'm not sure if that works. Thanks

When I try to uses "suspend", the screen flickers, and then the hard drive light goes off but the power light stays on. I looked at the /var/log/pm-suspend.log, but I don't seen any errors... though I'm not sure what success should look like either. So I guess my real question is a bit more accurately stated as "How do I troubleshoot suspend not working in Kubuntu on a laptop?" Thanks, Aerik

  • Need help with Layouts in Swing

    Hi, I'm using Java Swing and I have the following problem: I have a class TnaiPanel that extends JPanel. In this class I am creating 3 components and then lay them out in a horizontal line using a BoxLayout. Also, I have a class TnaimDinamimPanel that also extends JPanel. This class contains multiple occurances of TnaiPanel, layed out vertically using a BoxLayout. Also, I have a class MainFrame that extends JFrame. This frame contains a menu-bar and one main panel. The main panel can change (when choosing a certain menu-item, I create a new panel and set it to show as the main panel of the frame). Now, for some reason I get "BoxLayout can't be shared" when I add the newly created TnaimDinamimPanel to the components of the frame. I don't mind using different layout objects. The result I want to get is a sort of "table" of components, where each TnaiPanel will have fixed component sizes and spacing, essentially serving the role os a "row" in the "table". Thanks, Malki.
