ASP.NET change logged-in user using Windows Auth without logging off PC?

How do I change who is logged in (allow for another user to login) to an application that is using Windows Authentication without having the PC user log off?

logging in problem when two different instance of browser is used.

To make my question clear, I listed some scenarios: 1.once and i login from my login page and move to home page,i copy home page url and open a new browser and paste the copied url,it directs me to the home page again.How to prevent this in ASP.Net

Why do I get a null pointer exception from TabWidget?

I'm writing an android program in which I have an activity that uses tabs. I've tried "getLayoutInflator()" instead of "LayoutInflator.from(this)" with the same result. If I replace the LayoutInflater line with "setContentView(R.layout.unit_view)" my program doesn't crash with a null pointer exception but my content is completely blank and empty. I get the tab and that's it. I've checked to make sure R.layout.unit_view and tabHost are not null when it runs the LayoutInflater line and they seem to be fine. They're defenitely not null. I've also checked to make sure LayoutInflater.from(this) returns a valid layout inflater object and it does. I'm trying to use atexit in a Process, but unfortunately it doesn't seem to work. Unit Testing-- fundamental goal?

Me and my co-workers had a bit of a disagreement last night about unit testing in our PHP/MySQL application. Half of us argued that when unit testing a function within a class, you should mock everything outside of that class and its parents. The other half of us argued that you SHOULDN'T mock anything that is a direct dependancy of the class either. The specific example was our logging mechanism, which happened through a static Logging class, and we had a number of Logging::log() calls in various locations throughout our application. The first half of us said the Logging mechanism should be faked (mocked) because it would be tested in the Logging unit tests. The second half of us argued that we should include the original Logging class in our unit test so that if we make a change to our logging interface, we'll be able to see if it creates problems in other parts of the application due to failing to update the call interface. So I guess the fundamental question is-- do unit tests serve to test the functionality of a single unit in a closed environment, or show the consequences of changes to a single unit in a larger environment? If it's one of these, how do you accomplish the other?

Unicenter Software Delivery 4 not able to connect to MS SQL 2000 Database after W2003 SP2 upgrade

Hello Everyone Yesterday I installed the Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2 on a Windows Server 2003 which has Unicenter Software Delivery 4 installed. Prior to the installation I disabled every CA service on the server (Brightstor, SDO , RCO, TNG) and the MS SQL 2000 service. After the installation of the SP2 I enabled the services again but the Unicenter Service is not able to connect to the MS SQL 2000 Database anymore. The database itself is up and running and I can connect to it with the Enterprise Manager. A dbcc checkdb doesnt return any errors on the Unicenter database. I had the bright idea of updating my perfectly working ASP.Net MVC 4 application to the MVC 5 via nuget, Everything compiles just fine but when I try to run the application I get the following yellow screen of death. Ubuntu 14.04 stalling. Problem with LightDM. Plymouth (and logging out) switches over to a black screen w/ white cursor

if its a duplicate, sorry. Couldn't find anything that fits my issue, much less that was on 14.04. I changed a few things recently. Switched to the Numix theme (from PPA), installed lm-sensors and psensor (ran all the I/O probes), Ubuntu Tweak, Pinta, and well, Team Fortress 2 on Steam. :P The system will get to the Plymouth 'ubuntu' screen, load load, all dots filled, switches over to LightDM, but wait! No LightDM. :I Just a blank screen with that white cursor. Can't switch out to tty1-6 - not sure if the Ctrl-Alt-F1 is disabled in 14.04 or if its literally just locked down. If I change any files, I have access to the filesystem from my Windows 8 partition. That's it. :/ I'm pretty familiar with Linux, especially Ubuntu, but I think I'm still at the point I know just enough to break things and not always how to fix 'em. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! UPDATE I was just able to get into my desktop briefly. I booted Ubuntu. When the black screen froze, I hit Ctrl-Alt-Del. When it started switching off, I hit Ctrl-Alt-Backspace. It rebooted. I plugged the second monitor in I had been using before the issue ever came about. Plymouth displayed on both. LightDM came up, displayed on both (it used to show only the ubuntu logo on the unfocused monitor though). I logged in just fine. Even ran some pending software updates. I logged out of the desktop though, and LightDM refused to show again. xP

Single Sign On 802.1x Wireless - saying “Connecting to <SSID>”, hangs for 10 seconds, fails with “Unable to connect to <SSID>, Logging on…”.

We are implementing WiFi on Windows 7 machines in our corporate environment. Machines should be able to log into the domain by WiFi as the Machine (Pre-Logon), and as the User (Post-Logon). We have everything working correctly except for 2 things: 1) Sometimes the login scripts don't run 2) The user VLAN is sometimes different than the machine vlan, and no DHCP renew occurs after user logon. I am clear that both these problems should be fixable by using the "Single Sign On" Option under the 802.1x Wireless Vista GPO, and setting the wireless to connect immediately before user logon and also by enabling "This network uses different VLAN for authentication with machine and user credentials" If I enable these GPO settings in a lab, the computer does authenticate & gets WIFI before the user logs on, so when the login box is displayed, it says “Windows will try to connect to ”, even though it is already connected (which should be ok?). Enter the user credentials and it goes to a screen saying “Connecting to ”, hangs for 10 seconds, fails with “Unable to connect to , Logging on…”. Desktop fires up and then the user re-authenticates with no problem as himself instead of the machine, but by that point, we defeat the point of the WiFi SSO “before user logon”. Also by that point, no DHCP renew seems to occur, and the user is still stuck with the wrong IP address for the new VLAN. When the “Connecting to ” screen comes up, there’s no indication on the AP or the Radius server that anything whatsoever is happening after credentials are entered until after the domain logon. Also with this policy enabled, sometimes windows hangs on a black screen indefinitely until I disable the Wireless NIC, so something is knackered for sure. What have I missed? Suggestions are much appreciated... /P

One huge drive (network share) from many computers, with folder priority redundancy.

Not sure if this exists, but I have a huge amount of data to store (about 5-50mb files) and as it is now, I have 5 computers, each with raid 5 providing about 6TB hard drive each. This is causing some problems with the software I am using (something home made) so I'm wondering, is there some software that I can install on all those computers that will mask it as one huge drive... Running windows on those computers, from Xp 64 bit to windows server 2008 I would also like to set a priority on each folder on the redundancy it has, some folders I can live without no online backup (I have a backup in a safe of that data) but some I need full online backup system if one hard drive fails. Something open source, as I try to use that as much as I can, but all ideas welcome.

Using Message Handler for logging There are different ways we could place the cross-cutting concern of logging message when using WebAPI. We can for example create a custom ApiController and override the ApiController’s ExecutingAsync method, or add a ActionFilter, or use a Message Handler. The disadvantage with custom ApiController is that we need to make sure we inherit from it, the disadvantage of ActionFilter, is that we need to add the filter to the controllers, both will modify our ApiControllers. By using a Message Handler we don’t need to do any changes to our ApiControllers. So the best suitable place to add our logging would be in a custom Message Handler. A Message Handler will be used before the HttpControllerDispatcher (The part in the WepAPI pipe-line that make sure the right controller is used and called etc). Note: You can read more about message handlers here, it will give you a good understanding of the WebApi pipe-line. Everything placed before base.SendAsync will be called before the HttpControllerDispatcher (before WebAPI will take a look at the request which controller and method it should be invoke), everything after the base.SendAsync, will be executed after our ApiController method has returned a response. So a message handle will be a perfect place to add cross-cutting concerns such as logging. To get the content of our response within a Message Handler we can use the request argument of the SendAsync method. The request argument is of type HttpRequestMessage and has a Content property (Content is of type HttpContent. The HttpContent has several method that can be used to read the incoming message, such as ReadAsStreamAsync, ReadAsByteArrayAsync and ReadAsStringAsync etc. Something to be aware of is what will happen when we read from the HttpContent. When we read from the HttpContent, we read from a stream, once we read from it, we can’t be read from it again. So if we read from the Stream before the base.SendAsync, the next coming Message Handlers and the HttpControllerDispatcher can’t read from the Stream because it’s already read, so our ApiControllers methods will never be invoked etc. The only way to make sure we can do repeatable reads from the HttpContent is to copy the content into a buffer, and then read from that buffer. This can be done by using the HttpContent’s LoadIntoBufferAsync method. If we make a call to the LoadIntoBufferAsync method before the base.SendAsync, the incoming stream will be read in to a byte array, and then other HttpContent read operations will read from that buffer if it’s exists instead directly form the stream. There is one method on the HttpContent that will internally make a call to the LoadIntoBufferAsync for us, and that is the ReadAsByteArrayAsync. Redirect batch stderr to file

I have a batch file that executes a java application. I'm trying to modify it so that whenever an exception occurs, it'll write the STDERR out to a file. It looks something like this: start java something.jar method %1 %2 2>> log.txt Is there a way I can write the arguments %1 and %2 to the log.txt file as well? I don't want to write it to the log file everytime this batch file gets called, only when an exception occurs. I tried searching for a way to redirect STDERR into a variable, but I couldn't figure it out.
