Do I need to parse the image and look at each pixel or is there an easier way to do it? I'm using Java3D but it doesn't seem to have any sort of built in support for that...

    I am trying upload images and than create an thumbnail of it and than store both in S3. After the file has been uploaded i am first uploading it to S3 and than trying to create thumbnail but it doesn't work as than PIL is not able to recognise the image. And secondly if I create the thumbnail first than while uploading original image I get EOF. I think Django allows just once for the uploaded files to be used only once....Please kindly tell me a way to do so....Thanks in advance

    Hey, I'm trying to mod rewrite the image locations on my site, I'm just using this : rewriteRule ^thumbs/(.*)$ http://site2.com/images/$1 [L] so that I can redirect all image requests going from http://site1.com/thumbs/something to http://site2.com/thumbs/something But only some of the images are loading, and not all of them.     What is the easiest way to duplicate an image variable in PHP. Normally you can simply do $varnew = $varold. But with a GD library variable if I did the above and then edited $varnew then $varold would be effected too. Obviously one way would be to reopen the file or to make a new image and copy it into it. Is there an easier way?

  • Is it possible to turn a string with base64 encoded image data into a displayable image in flash lit

    I have tried using a data URI to load the image data into a movie clip, but flash lite does not appear to support the data URI scheme. I also thought it might be possible to base64 decode the image data and write it out to a file and load the file back into the movie clip using the file URI scheme. However, I do not see a way to write to the filesystem in the documentation. Am I missing something in the flash lite docs that would allow me to write to the filesystem?

    Does any one know of an example on how to store an image in a SQL Server CE database? What data type should the column be? (I am guessing binary.) I use Linq-To-Datasets. Is it possible using that to put the image into the database and pull it out again later? Thanks for any advice.
