• How to pass data from selected rows using checkboxes from JSP to the server

  Hi, I'd like to know if there's any way to send data to the server for the selected rows using the checkboxes I've put on those rows? • rake db:migrate fails when trying to do inserts

  I'm trying to get a database populate so I can begin working on a project. THis project is already built and I'm being brought in to helpwith front-end work. Problem is I can't get rake db:migrate to do any inserts. Could not load driver (uninitialized constant Mysql::Driver) ... I'm building on a MBP with Snow Leopard. I've installed XCode from the disk that comes with the mac. I've updated ruby, installed rails and all the needed gems. I have the 64 bit version of MySQL installed. I've tried the 32 bit version of MySQL and I've even tried installing from macports (via http://www.robbyonrails.com/articles/2010/02/08/installing-ruby-on-rails-passenger-postgresql-mysql-oh-my-zsh-on-snow-leopard-fourth-edition) The mysql gemis installed using: sudo env ARCHFLAGS="-arch x86_64" gem install mysql -- --with-mysql-config=/path/to/mysql/bin/mysql_config the migrate creates the tables just fine but it dies every. single. time. it trys an insert. • selenium and firefox timeout behavior

  I am facing this strange timeout behavior. Now if I restart the firefox I can see the new values. But if I try to run the above code - the firefox window opens and it waits for a particular website for a long time. Hence I open another tab in the same firefox window and check the values of timeout and find them to be 90 and 250. If I change the values on that same window, the selenium code immediately finishes requesting for the page (ie it goes after the exception block). So the thing is that the same code will work on many sites and I don't know beforehand which site is invalid/down and I was thinking of putting this code in a separate thread and kill the thread after some time from the calling thread. But that is not possible I guess because the child thread has no way to poll anything as it is stuck at page request and can't go to the polling code afterwards. Now the thing is that I want any kind of hack/workaround to accomplish this: try getting the emails for good sites and if there are bad sites just give up after a certain period (press the panic button sorta thing).   Hi, I need to access some data from an MS Access database and retrieve some data from it using PHP. I've looked around the web, and found the following line which seems to correctly connect to the database: $conn->Open("DRIVER={Microsoft Access Driver (*.mdb)}; DBQ=C:\wamp\www\data\MYDB.mdb"); However, I have tried to retrieve some data in the following way: $query = "SELECT pageid FROM pages_table"; $result = mysqli_query($conn, $query); $amount_of_pages = 0; if(mysqli_num_rows($result) <= 0) echo "No results found."; else while($row = mysqli_fetch_array($result, MYSQL_ASSOC)) $amount_of_pages++; And was presented with the following errors: Warning: mysqli_query() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli, object given in C:\wamp\www\data\index.php on line 19 Warning: mysqli_num_rows() expects parameter 1 to be mysqli_result, null given in C:\wamp\www\data\index.php on line 23 No results found. It seemed to work the first time but not the second. Any thoughts? I would also like some feedback on my implementation of this problem. Is there a better way? Anything to help out a novice! :)

• PHP PDO changes remote host to local hostname

  I'm trying to connect to a remote mysql server using PDO. However, regardless of the hostname or ip address i supply in the dsn, when the script is run it always reverts the address to the hostname of the local server where the webserver is running. Google suggests this could be something to do with SELinux and apaches ability to connect to remote databases, however i have SELinux disabled. Distro: Ubuntu 11.04 x64 Apache version: 2.2.17 PHP Version: PHP 5.3.5-1ubuntu7.11 with Suhosin-Patch (cli) Edit: Added code as requested.   I want to get data from mysql database with the help of DataImportHandler so i can create indexes. Now I've configured my Solr instance so that it works on Tomcat (the example admin page), but if I try to change the sorlconfig.xml file i'll get the error message. I'm working with Solr 3.6 So my configuration is: In solrconfig.xml i added: <dataDir>${solr.data.dir:/usr/share/tomcat7/solr2}</dataDir> to specify my working directory and then <requestHandler name="/dataimport" class="org.apache.solr.handler.dataimport.DataImportHandler"> <lst name="defaults"> <str name="config">/usr/share/tomcat7/solr2/conf/data-config.xml</str> </lst> </requestHandler> to specify new request handler. Theese two are my lib directives for DIH.   I ran into an quite odd problem, after installing some drivers on my Lenovo N100 0768 (Windows 7) notebook and attaching an USB-HDD. Now I have sound, but constantly the device dicsonnected sound - like every 2 seconds! Looked at the device manager and it is flashing together with the sound. A quick search on the net directed me towords driver issues or issues with attached usb-devices. No big suprise here - but how can I solve this?!

  Hello, I need to have at least one microphone on Windows to make Skype calls, but i have a VPS with Windows 2003 server with no audio device. I googled a lot and finally i found something called "Virtual Audio Cable", a tool to install virtual audio drivers ( http://software.muzychenko.net/eng/vac.html ). I tried many times but i couldn't get this driver work, so i'm asking if someone know a similar solution, i mean a virtual microphone or a way to make skype working without any microphone. Again I need MySQL because thats what XAMPP uses and because I prefer MySQL regardless. I have a feeling it has something to do with this notest pragma error. Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

  Possible Duplicate: ATI Radeon 5770 Eyefinity - 3 monitors How to setup Eyefinity to support three monitors on HD 5700/5800 series card? Monitors are connected the following way: DVI-DVI-DisplayPort Currently driver does not allow me to do this. If I click on the third monitor to extended it, I get message to disable other one. Message: I am using DisplayPort adapter to DVI, so I do not have native displayPort monitor. Might be that a problem?

  I purchased LSI SAS 9300-4i Host Bus Adapter, from card bios I can see that it detected all hard drives connected to it, but from ubuntu I can't see them.   I have a IBM blade center H with modules HS21 type 8853 with Windows 2003R2 (32 bits). My backup is very slow (transfer starts with 16MB/min and slow down o 3 MB/min). I have update all firmware, all driver, nothing help. Any sugestions what can be wrong? Size of a backuped data no matter. It can be 100MB or 10GB, effect always is the same
