  In an iPhone app,we can make a UIBarButtonItem by using the following code: UIBarButtonItem *bbix=[[UIBarButtonItem alloc] initWithBarButtonSystemItem:UIBarButtonSystemItemAction target:nil action:nil]; the generated UIBarButtonItem has a system-provided "action" icon.My question is :how to get this UIBarButtonItem's inner UIButton and add this UIButton to another UIView? who can show me some code? thanks in advance

• Event receiver on Content Type not triggered on WikiPageLibrary

  Hello all, I created a new content type for a wiki page library. I added this content type to library by code (the interface did not allow this). Next, I added an event receiver to this content type (on ItemAdded and ItemAdding). My problem is that no event is trrigered. If I add this events directly to the wiki page library all works fine. Is there a limitation/bug/trick ? • Duplicate content in ASP.NET MVC because of custom routes MapRoute(), are areas the rescue?

  I use custom routes for my URLs and my action become accessible via two URLs (not counting trailing slash and lower\upper case letters): one via my custom route /my-custom-route-url/ and one via default /controller/action. I see one possible solution -- put all controllers which use default routing (they are mostly backend) in one area, and place all others in separate area and use it without default route. May be there is a better way?

• Does a nested subTable break reRender?

  Here is a minimal rich:dataTable with an a4j:commandLink inside. • Custom NSView in NSMenuItem not receiving mouse events

  I have an NSMenu popping out of an NSStatusItem using popUpStatusItemMenu. These NSMenuItems show a bunch of different links, and each one is connected with setAction: to the openLink: method of a target. This arrangement has been working fine for a long time. The user chooses a link from the menu and the openLink: method then deals with it. Unfortunately, I recently decided to experiment with using NSMenuItem's setView: method to provide a nicer/slicker interface. Basically, I just stopped setting the title, created the NSMenuItem, and then used setView: to display a custom view. This works perfectly, the menu items look great and my custom view is displayed. However, when the user chooses a menu item and releases the mouse, the action no longer works (i.e., openLink: isn't called). If I just simply comment out the setView: call, then the actions work again (of course, the menu items are blank, but the action is executed properly). My first question, then, is why setting a view breaks the NSMenuItem's action. No problem, I thought, I'll fix it by detecting the mouseUp event in my custom view and calling my action method from there. I added this method to my custom view: - (void)mouseUp:(NSEvent *)theEvent { NSLog(@"in mouseUp"); } No dice! This method is never called. I can set tracking rects and receive mouseEntered: events, though. But there must be a way do detect these events. HOW? Adding: [[self window] makeKeyWindow]; has no effect, despite the fact that canBecomeKeyWindow is YES.

• How to add a disclaimer to forwarded messages to outside domains in Exchange 2013?

  I would like to implement some kind of filter to add a disclaimer message within emails forwarded to outside domains. Today we have some users that setup filters to forward messages to external mail servers, as example @gmail addresses. So this kind of forward should be marked with the disclaimer message. Not the normal fwd messages. We have a Postfix mailfiltering gateway too, if it's simpler to implement this on the mail filter, it could be a viable option. What would be the best approach to handle this issue? Thanks,

• Default route is matched instead specific route

  www.domain.com community :action/* member/profile-(\d+)-(.+) member/profile-%d-%s 1 2 As you can see, I use a route with :action/* in to cover the homepages and the basics actions on index controller. domain.com/community/random_action = works good. domain.com/community/ doesn't work. The whole homepage is displayed. I checked, and the default route is matched. I tried assemble() on route "www-community-index" and it gives well www.domain.com/community I don't see from where comes the problem :(

• When does the .NET FormAuthentication ticket get checked and how do I tap into this event?

  Hello everyone - We are attempting to integrate an ASP.NET MVC site with our client's SSO system using PingFederate. I would like to use the built in FormsAuthentication framework to do this. The way I've gone about it so far is: Set up my Web.config so that my FormsAuthentication LoginURL goes to my site's "BeginAuthentication" action on a "Security" controller. From this action, I set up some session variables (what URL was being accessed, for example, since Ping won't send this info back to me), and then redirect to our client's login page on an external site (www.client.com/Login for example). From here, the authentication takes place and a cookie is generated on the same domain as the one that our application is running on which contains the unique identifier of the authenticated user, I've set it up so that once this happens, the Ping server will redirect to my "EndAuthentication" action on my "Security" controller. In this action, I call my membership class's "ValidateUser" method which takes this unique identifier from the cookie and loads in the user on our application that this ID refers to. I save that logged in user in our Session (Session["LoggedInAs"], for example) and expire the cookie that contains the id of the authenticated user that the SSO system provided for me. All of this works well. The issue I'm wondering about is what happens after our user has already authenticated and manually goes back to our client's login page (www.client.com/login) and logs in as another user. If they do that, then the flow from #2 above to number 3 happens as normal - but since there already exists an authenticated user on our site, it seems as though the FormsAuthentication system doesn't bother kicking off anything so I don't get a chance to check for the cookie I'm looking for to login as this new user. What I'd like to do is, somewhere in my Global.asax file (probably FormsAuthenticate_OnAuthenticate), check to see if the cookie that the SSO system sends to me exists, and if so, sign out of the application using FormsAuthentication.SignOut(). Another issue that seems to be related is that if I let my Session expire, the FormsAuthentication still seems to think I am authenticated and it lets me access a page even though no currently logged in user exists in my Session, so the page doesn't render correctly. Should I tap into the Session_End event and do FormsAuthentication.SignOut() here as well? Basically, I want to know when the authentication ticket created by System.Web.Security.FormsAuthentication.SetAuthCookie(..) gets checked in the flow of a request so that I can determine whether I need to SignOut() and force revalidation or not. • Django Admin Actions missing

  One of my Django sites is missing the Django Admin Action bar shown here: http://docs.djangoproject.com/en/dev/ref/contrib/admin/actions/#ref-contrib-admin-actions There is no checkbox next to each row and no Action select box near the top of the page. This is happening on every model. I have several sites running Django 1.1, and they all show the Admin Actions, so it feels like a local configuration issue. Anyone seen this before?

• active_scaffold routing error

  If you haven't seen my question yesterday, this is my second rails app. The first went nice and smooth, but this one keeps giving me one random error after another. I installed active_scaffold for this app as well as the last app (the first error, instead of using script/install plugin git://active_scaffold repository, I did script/install plugin http://active_scaffold repository.) I didn't want to spell out basic CRUD on minor models. After the install problems, (before I found the http solution from a windows user when I'm on Linux) I thought I'd try out Hobo. Well, Hobo updated actionmailer, actionpack, activerecord, activeresource, and installed rack. Rails isn't even using the updated versions. But as you can see at the bottom of the trace it's using rack. I have a feeling it has something to do with my futzing around with installing Hobo which I uninstalled. Thanks in advanced. [Edit] I had asked the question over at the ActiveScaffold Group the answer (if you don't want to follow the link) was that this line needed to be added to routes: map.resources :modelName, :active_scaffold => true It doesn't entirely answer my question, since the documentation said nothing about changing routes. But, it works. • Popping UIView crashes app

  I'm basically pushing a UIView from a UITableViewController and all it contains is a UIWebView. • Vista locks up after ~10h. of activity

  Hi everybody, I am experiencing a problem: Windows Vista completely freezes/locks up lately... It happened today twice - the mouse and keyboard stopped responding and I had to re-boot. I checked the Application Events Log and I see these two errors: Event filter with query "SELECT * FROM __InstanceModificationEvent WITHIN 60 WHERE TargetInstance ISA "Win32_Processor" AND TargetInstance.LoadPercentage 99" could not be reactivated in namespace "//./root/CIMV2" because of error 0x80041003. Events cannot be delivered through this filter until the problem is corrected. and then The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load: SASDIFSV SASKUTIL I checked Help online and it points to http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc756390%28WS.10%29.aspx and suggests Updating the drivers. I'm not sure why would I have problem with drivers and if so, how can I find out which drivers to update? Can you please help me? Thanks in advance.

• DNS error only in IE

  Our Intranet page has stopped working on some machines/some user accounts. The error I am getting points to a DNS issue but If I ping the site from the command line the it responds fine. The error I'm gettting on IE is Error: The web filter could not find the address for the requested site Why are you seeing this: The system is unable too determine the IP address of intranet.example.com I'm not quite sure why it mentions the web filter as there is a proxy exception for the intranet page and if I run a trace route it doesn't go via the web proxy (filtering system). Finally it isn't affecting everyone, just random users, also it doesn't affect the random users on all the client machines they use. I have one user where it happens on any client they log onto where most its just certian clients. It's even "fixed" itself for a few peoples. EDIT: hey Mikey thanks for the fast response. Proxies are correct and automatic configuration is off (both via GPO)

  I'm migrating from libpam-ldap to libpam-ldapd. I'm having some trouble gathering the secondary groups from LDAP. On libpam-ldap, I had this on the /etc/ldap.conf file: nss_schema rfc2307bis nss_base_passwd ou=People,ou=CITIUS,dc=inv,dc=usc,dc=es nss_base_shadow ou=People,ou=CITIUS,dc=inv,dc=usc,dc=es nss_base_group ou=Groups,ou=CITIUS,dc=inv,dc=usc,dc=es nss_map_attribute uniqueMember member The mapping is there because I'm using groupOfNames instead of groupOfUniqueNames LDAP class for groups, so the attribute naming the members is named member instead of uniqueMember. Now, I want to do the same using libpam-ldapd but I can't get it to work.   When I got sick my email ended up in every drug sellers email list. Some days I get over 200 emails selling everything from Viagra to Xanax. Either they don't know what my condition is or they are telling me you are a goner, might as well chill-ax and have a good time. In order to cut down on the mail being downloaded I thought I would add all of the Junk email senders from Outlook to my Network Solution mail server. Much to my amazement I could not find that import Spammers button, so I submitted a tech support request. Here is the response: Thank you for contacting Network Solutions Customer Service Department. We are committed to creating the best Customer experience possible. One of the first ways we can demonstrate our commitment to this goal is to quickly and efficiently handle your recent request. We apologize for any inconvenience this might have caused you. With regard to your concern, please be advised that we cannot import blocked senders in to you e-mail servers. An alternative option is for you to create a Custom Filter that filters unwanted e-mails. To create a Custom Filter: Open a Web browser (e.g., Netscape, Microsoft Internet Explorer, etc.). Type mail.[domain name].[ext] in the address line. Login to your Network Solutions email account. Click on the Configuration left menu tab. Click on the Custom Filter link. Type the rule name. blah, blah, blah Basically add them one at a time. "We are committed to creating the best Customer experience possible." No you are not.
