  • Drupal Ctools Form Wizard in a Block

    - by Iamjon
    Hi everyone I created a custom module that has a Ctools multi step form. It's basically a copy of http://www.nicklewis.org/using-chaos-tools-form-wizard-build-multistep-forms-drupal-6. The form works. I can see it if I got to the url i made for it. For the life of me I can't get the multistep form to show up in a block. Any clues? /** * Implementation of hook_block() * */ function mycrazymodule_block($op='list', $delta=0, $edit=array()) { switch ($op) { case 'list': $blocks[0]['info'] = t('SFT Getting Started'); $blocks[1]['info'] = t('SFT Contact US'); • CakePHP: How can I change this find call to include all records that do not exist in the associated

    - by Stephen
    I have a few tables with the following relationships: Company hasMany Jobs, Employees, and Trucks, Users I've got all my foreign keys set up properly, along with the tables' Models, Controllers, and Views. Originally, the Jobs table had a boolean field called "assigned". The following find operation (from the JobsController) successfully returns all employees, all trucks, and any jobs that are not assigned and fall on a certain day for a single company (without returning users by utilizing the containable behavior): $this->set('resources', $this->Job->Company->find('first', array( 'conditions' => array( 'Company.id' => $company_id ), 'contain' => array( 'Employee', 'Truck', 'Job' => array( 'conditions' => array( 'Job.assigned' => false, 'Job.pickup_date' => date('Y-m-d', strtotime('Today')); ) ) ) ))); Now, since writing this code, I decided to do a lot more with the job assignments. So I've created a new model "Assignment" that belongsTo Truck and belongsTo Job. I've added the hasMany Assignments to both the Truck model and the Jobs Model. I have both foreign keys in the assignments table, along with some other assignment fields. Now, I'm trying to get the same information above, only instead of checking the assigned field from the job table, I want to check the assignments table to ensure that the job does not exist there. I can no longer use the containable behavior if I'm going to use the "joins" feature of the find method due to mysql errors (according to the cookbook). But, the following query returns all jobs, even if they fall on different days. $this->set('resources', $this->Job->Company->find('first', array( 'joins' => array( array( 'table' => 'employees', 'alias' => 'Employee', 'type' => 'LEFT', 'conditions' => array( 'Company.id = Employee.company_id' ) ), array( 'table' => 'trucks', 'alias' => 'Truck', 'type' => 'LEFT', 'conditions' => array( 'Company.id = Truck.company_id' ) ), array( 'table' => 'jobs', 'alias' => 'Job', 'type' => 'LEFT', 'conditions' => array( 'Company.id = Job.company_id' ) ), array( 'table' => 'assignments', 'alias' => 'Assignment', 'type' => 'LEFT', 'conditions' => array( 'Job.id = Assignment.job_id' ) ) ), 'conditions' => array( 'Job.pickup_date' => $day, 'Company.id' => $company_id, 'Assignment.job_id IS NULL' ) )));

  • Is there any way to get the combine two xml into one xml in Linux.

    - by Tattat
    XML one is something like that: <dict> <key>2</key> <array> <string>A</string> <string>B</string> </array> <key>3</key> <array> <string>C</string> <string>D</string> <string>E</string> </array> </dict> XML Two is something like that: <dict> <key>A</key> <array> <string>A1</string> <false/> <false/> <array> <string>Apple</string> <string>This is an apple</string> </array> <array> <string>Apple Pie</string> <string>I love Apple Pie.</string> </array> </array> <key>B</key> <array> <string>B7</string> <false/> <false/> <array> <string>Boy</string> <string>I am a boy.</string> </array> </array> </dict> I want to convert to this: <dict> <key>2</key> <array> <string>A, Apple, Apple Pie</string> <string>B, Boy</string> </array> ... </dict>

  • How can I get all children from a parent row in the same table?

    - by Johnny Freeman
    Let's say I have a table called my_table that looks like this: id | name | parent_id 1 | Row 1 | NULL 2 | Row 2 | NULL 3 | Row 3 | 1 4 | Row 4 | 1 5 | Row 5 | NULL 6 | Row 6 | NULL 7 | Row 7 | 8 8 | Row 8 | NULL 9 | Row 9 | 4 10 | Row 10 | 4 Basically I want my final array in PHP to look like this: Array ( [0] => Array ( [name] => Row 1 [children] => Array ( [0] => Array ( [name] => Row 3 [children] => ) [1] => Array ( [name] => Row 4 [children] => Array ( [0] => Array ( [name] => Row 9 [children] => ) [1] => Array ( [name] => Row 10 [children] => ) ) ) ) ) [1] => Array ( [name] => Row 2 [children] => ) [2] => Array ( [name] => Row 5 [children] => ) [3] => Array ( [name] => Row 6 [children] => ) [4] => Array ( [name] => Row 8 [children] => Array ( [0] => Array ( [name] => Row 7 [children] => ) ) ) ) So, I want it to get all of the rows where parent_id is null, then find all nested children recursively. Now here's the part that I'm having trouble with: How can this be done with 1 call to the database? I'm sure I could do it with a simple select statement and then have PHP make the array look like this but I'm hoping this can be done with some kind of fancy db joining or something like that. Any takers?

  • How to create such a PHP array in JavaScript?

    - by dfjhdfjhdf
    How to create such a PHP array in JavaScript? $arr = array('oneKey' => array('key1' => 'value1', 'key2' => 'value2'), 'anotherKey' => array('key1' => 'value1', 'key2' => 'value2')); EDIT: Guys, I forgot to mention that I would then need a simple way to sort those array('key1' = 'value1', 'key2' = 'value2') lexicographically by its keys. EDIT2: Actually I won't "convert" it. It's a way I explain things. I am more of a php guy.

  • How do I write an IF ELSE to check string contents of an array?

    - by Michael Robinson
    I'm trying to write an IF ELSE statement to enable shipping, If user doesn't add an address the array contents remain as "-" & "-" for the two items in the array. I want to check to see if those are in the array, if they are then I want to enableshipping. Here is the code for getting the array: NSArray *paths = NSSearchPathForDirectoriesInDomains(NSDocumentDirectory, NSUserDomainMask, YES); NSString *documentsDirectory = [paths objectAtIndex:0]; NSString *fullFileName = [NSString stringWithFormat:@"%@/arraySaveFile", documentsDirectory]; NSMutableArray *array = [[NSMutableArray alloc] initWithContentsOfFile:fullFileName]; How do I write this first line to look for the "-" & "-"? if ([fullFileName isEqualToString:@"-","-"]) { [nnNEP EnableShipping]; } else { [nnNEP DisableShipping]; } Thanks, michael

  • How do i create an array of unequal length arrays?

    - by Faken
    Hello everyone, I need to create a sort of 2D array in which each one of the secondary arrays are of different length. I have a 1D array of known length (which defines the number of arrays to be formed) with each element having a number that denotes the length of the secondary array in that position. Each one of the arrays are fairly large so i don't want to create a one-size-fits-all "fake" 2D heap array to cover everything. How would i go about doing this? Any 2D array I have made before are always rectangular. I'm trying to do this so that i can create some code to dynamically generate threads to split up some workload. Thanks, -Faken

  • How do you build an Oa_zones array in to utitlize OpenX full page invocation in Rails?

    - by johnml
    I'm serving ads using OpenX within Rails. To correctly use the OpenX full page invocation you need to set Oa_zones[] array, otherwise all available ads are requested (but will never be used). These are the necessary pieces: Build an array of zones. Ideally zones could be added in any partial, so working with this array needs to be accessible throughout the view. Output full page invocation link ie. delivery/spcjs.php?id=1&block=1 Output zones The problem is, the full page invocation script can't be loaded until the zone array is built (and instantiated in JavaScript). At the same time, the zone array can't be built until the entire view has been rendered.

  • Getting Excel add ins to modify array formula parameters; or perform 'ctrl-shift-enter'

    - by Toby Wilson
    I am trying to make a C# Excel add in change the parameters of an array formula in-place; i.e. do the same as a user modifying an array formula and hitting ctrl-shift-enter. Setting the activeCell.FormulaArray property does not achieve this; it throws a 'You cannot change part of an array' error. Does anyone know how I can achieve this? A solution that also works in VBA would be brilliant. I've tried creating some logic that 'walks' to the perimeter of the array formula and deletes it first, but it doesn't account for adjacent array formulas and I believe this is unnecessarily drastic.

  • Is there a way to query if array field contains a certain value in Doctrine2?

    - by dpimka
    Starting out with Symfony2 + Doctrine. I have a table with User objects (fos_user), for which my schema contains a roles column of an 'array' type. Doctrine saves fields of this type by serializing them from php 'array' to 'longtext' (in mysql's case). So let's say I have the following users saved into DB: **User1**: array(ROLE_ADMIN, ROLE_CUSTOM1) **User2**: array(ROLE_ADMIN, ROLE_CUSTOM2) **User3**: array(ROLE_CUSTOM2) Now in my controller I want to select all users with ROLE_ADMIN set. Is there a way to write a DQL query which would directly return me User1 and User2? Or do I need to fetch all users to have Doctrine to unserialize roles column and then for each of them do in_array('ROLE_ADMIN', $user-getRoles())? I have searched the DQL part of the manual, but so far did not find anything similar to my needs...

  • How do I pass an array to a method?

  • Why, in Ruby, does Array("foo\nbar") == ["foo\n", "bar"]?

    - by Tyson
    In Ruby 1.8.7, Array("hello\nhello") gives you ["hello\n", "hello"]. This does two things that I don't expect: It splits the string on newlines. I'd expect it simply to give me an array with the string I pass in as its single element without modifying the data I pass in. Even if you accept that it's reasonable to split a string when passing it to Array, why does it retain the newline character when "foo\nbar".split does not? Additionally: >> Array.[] "foo\nbar" => ["foo\nbar"] >> Array.[] *"foo\nbar" => ["foo\n", "bar"]

  • How do I marshal a pointer to an array of pointers to structures?

    - by Daniel Stutzbach
    I have a C function with the following signature: int my_function(int n, struct player **players) players is a pointer to an array of pointers to struct player objects. n is the number of pointers in the array. The function does not modify the array nor the contents of the structures, and it does not retain any pointers after returning. I tried the following: [DllImport("mylibary.dll")] static extern int my_function(int n, [In, MarshalAs(UnmanagedType.LPArray, SizeParamIndex = 0)] player_in []players); However, that marshals the data as a pointer to an array of structures, not a pointer to an array of pointers to structures.

  • [JS] How to manipulate a PHP Array in javascript?

    - by rasouza
    I have an Array in PHP which contains data from database. And it prints out also as a table in the same page which has an AJAX delete function. Trying to explain better The array contains debt sums related to many people, it is the application's main function. In the same page, there is a table containing every debt record related to the array, which can be deleted or edited using AJAX. I have coded the part of deleting the record and removing the TR entry, but it's not enough: I'd like to change also the debt sum using AJAX which is an PHP Array. What I have I have the JS function which removes the TR when the delete button is clicked // TR Fading when deleted $('.delete') .click(function() { $.ajax({ type: 'GET', url: 'history/delete/id/'+$(this).attr('id') }); $(this).parent().parent().fadeOut(); return false; }); and I have the PHP array (image)

  • Javascript, how do you sort an array on multiple columns?

    - by flavour404
    Hi, I have a multidimensional array, the primary array is an array of [publicationID][publication_name][ownderID][owner_name]. What I am trying to do is sort the array by owner name and then by publication_name. I know in JavaScript you have Array.sort(), into which you can put a custom function, in my case i have: function mysortfunction(a, b) { var x = a[3].toLowerCase(); var y = b[3].toLowerCase(); return ((x < y) ? -1 : ((x > y) ? 1 : 0)); } This is fine for just sorting on the one column, namely owner_name, but how do I modify it to sort on owner_name, then publication_name? Thanks, R.

  • Is it bad practice to declare an array mid-function...

    - by Maximus
    In C, which would be more proper... void MyFunction() { int* array; int size; //do a bunch of stuff size = 10; array = (int*)(sizeof(int)*size); //do more stuff... //no longer need array... free(array); } Or is something like this okay? void MyFunction() { int size; //do a bunch of stuff size = 10; array[size]; //do more stuff... } The malloc uses the heap instead of the stack, so I suppose if you know size is going to be very large you'd want to malloc... but if you're quite certain size will be small enough, would the second method be reasonable?

  • Why does Java ArrayList use per-element casting instead of per-array casting?

    - by user1111929
    What happens inside Java's ArrayList<T> (and probably many other classes) is that there is an internal Object[] array = new Object[n];, to which T Objects are written. Whenever an element is read from it, a cast return (T) array[i]; is done. So, a cast on every single read. I wonder why this is done. To me, it seems like they're just doing unnecessary casts. Wouldn't it be more logical and also slightly faster to just create a T[] array = (T[]) new Object[n]; and then just return array[i]; without cast? This is only one cast per array creation, which is usually far less than the number of reads. Why is their method to be preferred? I fail to see why my idea isn't strictly better?

  • PostgreSQL - Error: SQL state: XX000.

I have a need to add a couple of columns to the table (both of which are foreign keys to other tables in the database). This gives me a new table def as follows: CREATE TABLE "Population" ( "Id" bigint NOT NULL DEFAULT nextval('"population_Id_seq"'::regclass), "Name" character varying(255) NOT NULL, "Description" character varying(1024), "IsVisible" boolean NOT NULL, "DefaultSpeciesId" bigint NOT NULL, "DefaultEcotypeId" bigint NOT NULL, CONSTRAINT "pk_Population" PRIMARY KEY ("Id"), CONSTRAINT "fk_Population_DefaultEcotypeId" FOREIGN KEY ("DefaultEcotypeId") REFERENCES "Ecotype" ("Id") MATCH SIMPLE ON UPDATE NO ACTION ON DELETE NO ACTION, CONSTRAINT "fk_Population_DefaultSpeciesId" FOREIGN KEY ("DefaultSpeciesId") REFERENCES "Species" ("Id") MATCH SIMPLE ON UPDATE NO ACTION ON DELETE NO ACTION ) WITH ( OIDS=FALSE ); and function: CREATE OR REPLACE FUNCTION "Population_SelectAll"() RETURNS SETOF "Population" AS $BODY$select "Id", "Name", "Description", "IsVisible", "DefaultSpeciesId", "DefaultEcotypeId" from "Population"; $BODY$ LANGUAGE 'sql' STABLE COST 100 ROWS 1000; Calling the function after these changes results in the following error message: ERROR: could not find attribute 11 in subquery targetlist SQL state: XX000 What is causing this error and how do I fix it? I have tried to drop and recreate the columns and function - but the same error occurs. Platform is PostgreSQL 8.4 running on Windows Server. Thanks.

This is what the code below should do: (the dict cells has the same keys as coords but with either '*' or '-' as value.) coords = {'x'+str(x)+'y'+str(y) : (x,y) for x,y, in itertools.product(range(60), range(20))} for key, value in coords.items(): char = cells[key] x,y = value HORIZ=str(x) VERT=str(y) char = str(char) print('\033['+VERT+';'+HORIZ+'f'+char) However, I noticed that if I put this into a infinite while loop, it does not always prints the same characters at the same position. There are only slight changes, but it deletes some and puts them back in after some loops. I already tried it with lists, and there it seems to behave just fine, so I tend to think it has something todo with the dict, but I can not figure out what it could be. You can see the Problem in a console here: SharedConsole.I am happy for every tip on this matter. On a related topic: After the printing, some changes should be made at the values of the cells dict, but for reason unknown to me, the only the first two rules are executed and the rest is ignored. The rules should test how many neighbours (which is in population) are around the cell and apply the according rule. In my implemention of this I have some kind of weird tumor growth (which should not happen, as if there more than three around they should the cell should die) (see FreakingTumor): if cells_copy [coord] == '-': if population == 3: cells [coord] = '*' if cells_copy [coord] == '*': if population > 3: cells [coord] = '-' elif population <= 1: cells [coord] = '-' elif population == 2 or 3: cells [coord] = '*' I checked the population variable several times, so I am quite sure that is not the matter. I am sorry for the slow consoles. Thanks in advance! Kyril

  • Issues using a Fedex Webservice via WDSL/SOAP

    - by Parris
    Hi Everyone, I downloaded the sample code to request a rate from fedex's website... i placed the WSDL file in the proper location, I have my acct number, password, meter number, and key. When I run the script I get this error: Error in processing transaction. ERROR prof 1000 Authentication Failed The script they give is as follows, and yes i do actually replace the XXX and YYY everywhere it says.: <?php // Copyright 2009, FedEx Corporation. All rights reserved. // Version 7.0.0 require_once('fedex-common.php5'); $newline = "<br />"; //The WSDL is not included with the sample code. //Please include and reference in $path_to_wsdl variable. $path_to_wsdl = "RateService_v7.wsdl"; ini_set("soap.wsdl_cache_enabled", "0"); $client = new SoapClient($path_to_wsdl, array('trace' => 1)); // Refer to http://us3.php.net/manual/en/ref.soap.php for more information $request['WebAuthenticationDetail'] = array('UserCredential' => array('Key' => 'XXX', 'Password' => 'YYY')); // Replace 'XXX' and 'YYY' with FedEx provided credentials $request['ClientDetail'] = array('AccountNumber' => 'XXX', 'MeterNumber' => 'YYY');// Replace 'XXX' with your account and meter number $request['TransactionDetail'] = array('CustomerTransactionId' => ' *** Rate Request v7 using PHP ***'); $request['Version'] = array('ServiceId' => 'crs', 'Major' => '7', 'Intermediate' => '0', 'Minor' => '0'); $request['ReturnTransitAndCommit'] = true; $request['RequestedShipment']['DropoffType'] = 'REGULAR_PICKUP'; // valid values REGULAR_PICKUP, REQUEST_COURIER, ... $request['RequestedShipment']['ShipTimestamp'] = date('c'); $request['RequestedShipment']['ServiceType'] = 'FEDEX_GROUND'; // valid values STANDARD_OVERNIGHT, PRIORITY_OVERNIGHT, FEDEX_GROUND, ... $request['RequestedShipment']['PackagingType'] = 'YOUR_PACKAGING'; // valid values FEDEX_BOX, FEDEX_PAK, FEDEX_TUBE, YOUR_PACKAGING, ... $request['RequestedShipment']['Shipper'] = array('Address' => array( 'StreetLines' => array('10 Fed Ex Pkwy'), // Origin details 'City' => 'Memphis', 'StateOrProvinceCode' => 'TN', 'PostalCode' => '38115', 'CountryCode' => 'US')); $request['RequestedShipment']['Recipient'] = array('Address' => array ( 'StreetLines' => array('13450 Farmcrest Ct'), // Destination details 'City' => 'Herndon', 'StateOrProvinceCode' => 'VA', 'PostalCode' => '20171', 'CountryCode' => 'US')); $request['RequestedShipment']['ShippingChargesPayment'] = array('PaymentType' => 'SENDER', 'Payor' => array('AccountNumber' => 'XXX', // Replace 'XXX' with payor's account number 'CountryCode' => 'US')); $request['RequestedShipment']['RateRequestTypes'] = 'ACCOUNT'; $request['RequestedShipment']['RateRequestTypes'] = 'LIST'; $request['RequestedShipment']['PackageCount'] = '2'; $request['RequestedShipment']['PackageDetailSpecified'] = true; $request['RequestedShipment']['PackageDetail'] = 'INDIVIDUAL_PACKAGES'; // Or PACKAGE_SUMMARY $request['RequestedShipment']['RequestedPackageLineItems'] = array('0' => array('Weight' => array('Value' => 2.0, 'Units' => 'LB'), 'Dimensions' => array('Length' => 10, 'Width' => 10, 'Height' => 3, 'Units' => 'IN')), '1' => array('Weight' => array('Value' => 5.0, 'Units' => 'LB'), 'Dimensions' => array('Length' => 20, 'Width' => 20, 'Height' => 10, 'Units' => 'IN'))); try { $response = $client ->getRates($request); if ($response -> HighestSeverity != 'FAILURE' && $response -> HighestSeverity != 'ERROR') { printRequestResponse($client); } else { echo 'Error in processing transaction.'. $newline. $newline; foreach ($response -> Notifications as $notification) { if(is_array($response -> Notifications)) { echo $notification -> Severity; echo ': '; echo $notification -> Message . $newline; } else { echo $notification . $newline; } } } writeToLog($client); // Write to log file } catch (SoapFault $exception) { printFault($exception, $client); } ?> I am not quite sure why it isn't working, i've read about using a proxy, but I am not quite sure how i would use it in this case? Isn't the point of using SOAP and WSDL to avoid using CURL, Direct Connect type stuff?

  • SQL SERVER – Use ROLL UP Clause instead of COMPUTE BY

    - by pinaldave
    Note: This upgrade was test performed on development server with using bits of SQL Server 2012 RC0 (which was available at in public) when this test was performed. However, SQL Server RTM (GA on April 1) is expected to behave similarly. I recently observed an upgrade from SQL Server 2005 to SQL Server 2012 with compatibility keeping at SQL Server 2012 (110). After upgrading the system and testing the various modules of the application, we quickly observed that few of the reports were not working. They were throwing error. When looked at carefully I noticed that it was using COMPUTE BY clause, which is deprecated in SQL Server 2012. COMPUTE BY clause is replaced by ROLL UP clause in SQL Server 2012. However there is no direct replacement of the code, user have to re-write quite a few things when using ROLL UP instead of COMPUTE BY. The primary reason is that how each of them returns results. In original code COMPUTE BY was resulting lots of result set but ROLL UP. Here is the example of the similar code of ROLL UP and COMPUTE BY. I personally find the ROLL UP much easier than COMPUTE BY as it returns all the results in single resultset unlike the other one. Here is the quick code which I wrote to demonstrate the said behavior. CREATE TABLE tblPopulation ( Country VARCHAR(100), [State] VARCHAR(100), City VARCHAR(100), [Population (in Millions)] INT ) GO INSERT INTO tblPopulation VALUES('India', 'Delhi','East Delhi',9 ) INSERT INTO tblPopulation VALUES('India', 'Delhi','South Delhi',8 ) INSERT INTO tblPopulation VALUES('India', 'Delhi','North Delhi',5.5) INSERT INTO tblPopulation VALUES('India', 'Delhi','West Delhi',7.5) INSERT INTO tblPopulation VALUES('India', 'Karnataka','Bangalore',9.5) INSERT INTO tblPopulation VALUES('India', 'Karnataka','Belur',2.5) INSERT INTO tblPopulation VALUES('India', 'Karnataka','Manipal',1.5) INSERT INTO tblPopulation VALUES('India', 'Maharastra','Mumbai',30) INSERT INTO tblPopulation VALUES('India', 'Maharastra','Pune',20) INSERT INTO tblPopulation VALUES('India', 'Maharastra','Nagpur',11 ) INSERT INTO tblPopulation VALUES('India', 'Maharastra','Nashik',6.5) GO SELECT Country,[State],City, SUM ([Population (in Millions)]) AS [Population (in Millions)] FROM tblPopulation GROUP BY Country,[State],City WITH ROLLUP GO SELECT Country,[State],City, [Population (in Millions)] FROM tblPopulation ORDER BY Country,[State],City COMPUTE SUM([Population (in Millions)]) BY Country,[State]--,City GO After writing this blog post I continuously feel that there should be some better way to do the same task. Is there any easier way to replace COMPUTE BY?
