But I do this by hacking away, tinkering and testing things until I feel good about the functionality, and then coming in and refactoring, refactoring, refactoring.     I am wanting to do a split pc, half win xp, half unbuntu 13.04, want to use the linux for internet surfing, youtube, crackle, hulu videos viewing. My pc is a older DELL C521, 1.87ghz, 1.5 gb ram, 32bit, 80gb hd...will this be better than present slow slow slow win xp? need it for internet mostly. Would consider dumping win xp later on if I get the hang of the linux distro...any help appreciated. thanks

Is this still necessary and/or encouraged since Google openly admits it is parsing JS now? How should I tackle this evaluation? Are there tools to provide data on when it's needed to provide snapshots and when google has sufficent parsing? Is it better because it would be much faster in comparison to the JS incremental rendering?

    Title was a little hard to work, but take this as an example. User goes to site, creates account, and then has his/her own profile to edit. Let's say the profile includes height, weight, sex, eye color, etc.. I've really only used wordpress before, but I'm sure something else would cater to this better. The entire site is focused around a person having their own profile page with the info they supply. Thanks!

    At first I thought that if I made a bunch of $0.99 apps that were all pretty nice that they would eventually start to make me some decent passive income. However, after publishing five $0.99 applications in the the Apple App Store, I'm finding that I make around $5/day, which is basically nothing. Should I invest time into creating an even better app, hire a designer, spend money on PR and marketing, and then keep spending time updating/managing that app? Or should I continue to produce more applications solo?
