  • Animating an image in cocos2d

    hi all, I am making a game in cocos2d, in that some images of water drops are coming from the top of the screen. My problem is, when that image will reach to bottom of the screen it should be animated like spreading water or something like sparking occur. I don't know how to do animation in cocos2d, if any one knows please tell me. My project is remain due to this thing only. Thanks in advance.

  • cover/image that will hide a UIButton, but still let it be touched

    Any ideas on how to create a cover that has alpha 100 but is able to let a button behind it be touched, and an action to be called. i dont want to apply the action to the cover, nor change the buttons image - as a convaluted set up is required for each one. any ideas? what im after is effective not a see-through button, but a touch through button...   • Prevent image cropping when making sprites from gif

    Hey guys I've tried several tools (imagemagic, gif2png, Nconverter) to extract frames to make sprites from a .gif image that i have. I get the .pngs just fine, but they'r not the same size, some are 50x65 some 43x65 some 50x70, Which really screws any attempts at a descent animation. So is there a way to prevent this cropping or programmatically add extra transparent space to smaller ones and make them all the same size? Thanks.

  • IE image map remains clickable behind another div

    I have an Image Map of the United States. When you click on a state, the map fades out and a map of that state appears with an image map of the area codes in the state. In Firefox, Safari, and Chrome, the state map becomes clickable and the United States map becomes unclickable until you close the sate popover. However in Internet Explorer, the United States map remains clickable through the state popover, and I cannot click on any area codes.     Hi all, just wondering if there is a simple way in java to display the contents of say 16x16 array of doubles [0..1] as a greyscale image (ala matlab)? using an unfamiliar matrix library, so I'd like to check that I'm on the right track. don't really care if it is slow or ugly, or if it requires external library - it's just there for a quick look, so as long as it works, I'm fine.
