  • JQuery - Adding Cells to Dynamic Tree Table

    I can't quite wrap my head around this one... A table like the one below is spit out by a renderer from some XML. The XML it comes from has a variable depth. User clicks cell "1 2" (which will have an ID). An item is dynamically added to the third level, but UNDER "1 2 6". What I could do is just add another row underneath "1 2" and increase the rowspan from "1 2", but the new cell would then appear out of order amongst "1 2 5" and "1 2 6". I don't really need the exact code to do this, just something to stop my head from spinning around this...Thanks!

    Hi, I have retrieved data from Json URL and displayed it in a table view. I have also inlcuced a button in table view. On clicking the button the data must be transferred to a another table view. The problem is that i could send the data to a view and could display it on a label. But i couldnt bind the dat to table view ... Here's some of the code snippets...   • Imitating Mouse click - point with known coordinates on a fusion table layer - google maps

    I have been making a script using a fusion table's layer in google maps. I am using geocoder and get the coordinates of a point that I need. I put a script that changes the style of a polygon from the fusion table when you click on it, using the google.maps.event.addListener(layer, "click", function(e) {}); I would like to use the same function that I call in the case of a click on the layer, but this time with a click with the coordinates that I got. I have tried google.maps.event.trigger(map, 'click', {latLng: new google.maps.LatLng(42.701487,26.772308)}); As well as the example here Google Fusion Table Double Click (dblClick) I have tried changing map with layer... I am sorry if my question is quite stupid, but I have tried many options. P.S. I have seen many post about getting the info from the table, but I do not need that. I want to change the style of the KML element in the selected row, so I do not see it happening by a query. In the function that I use now I push the style of the options of the layer and then set the option.     Hi, Applicaiton is single user, 1-tier(1 pc), database SqlCE. DataService layer will be (I think) : Repository returning domain objects and quering database with LinqToSql (dbml). I think the table schema makes sense, but I need some reassurance or critics. Because the table relations looks quite scary to be honest. I'm hoping you could; Look at the table schema and respond if there are clear signs of troubles or errors that you spot right away.. And if you have time, Look at Program Summary/Questions, and see if the table layout makes makes sense to those points. Please be brutal, I will try to defend :) Program summary: a) A set of categories, each having a set of strategies (1:m) b) Each day a number of items will be produced. And each strategy MAY reference it. (So there can be 50 items, and a strategy may reference 23 of them) c) An item can be referenced by more than one strategy. So I think it's an m:m relation. d) Status values will be logged at fixed time-fractions through the day, for: - .... each Strategy.....each StrategyItem....each item e) An action on an item may be executed by a strategy that reference it. - This is logged as ItemAction (Could have called it StrategyItemAction) User Requsts b) - e) described the main activity mode of the program. To work with only today's DayLog , for each category. 2nd priority activity is retrieval of history, which typically will be From all categories, from day x to day y; Get all StrategyDailyLog. Questions First, does the overall layout look sound? I'm worried to see that there are so many relationships in all directions, connecting everything. Is this normal, or does it look like trouble? StrategyItem is made to represent an m:m relationship. Is it correct as I noted 1:m / 1:1 (marked red) ? StrategyItemTimeLog and ItemTimeLog; Logs values that both need to be retrieved together, when retreiving a StrategyItem. Reason I separated is that the first one is strategy-specific, and several strategies can reference same item. So I thought not to duplicate those values that are not dependent no strategy, but only on the item. Hence I also dragged out the LogTime, as it seems to be the only parameter to unite the logs. But this all looks quite disturbing with those 3 tables. Does it make sense at all? Or you have suggestion? Pink circles shows my vague attempt of Aggregate Root Paths. I've been thinking in terms of "what entity is responsible for delete". Though I'm unsure about the actual root. I think it's Category. Does it make sense related to User Requests described above?

If I only use the top <xsl:for-each>, then only the first two are retrieved. I have tried moving the 2nd <xsl:for-each> after the first to have been selected, so between: <td><xsl:value-of select="Example 2"/></td> and <td><xsl:value-of select="@name"/></td> I get an error. Minor code may provide more information (Key table entry not found) One might suggest to add that bloody keytab entry, but here's the real problem: ktutil: rkt /etc/ldap/ldap.keytab ktutil: list slot KVNO Principal ---- ---- --------------------------------------------------------------------- 1 2 ldap/[email protected] 2 2 ldap/[email protected] 3 2 ldap/[email protected] 4 2 ldap/[email protected] So, the entry as suggested by the OpenLDAP manual is there allright. Deleting and re-creating both service principal and the keytab on ldap.example.com didn't help, I get the same error. And before I make the keytab file readable by openldap, I get "Permission denied" error instead of the one in the subject. Which implies, that the right keytab file is being accessed, as set in /etc/default/slapd.     I am trying to support UTF-8 characters in my ANT script. As long as the character string are made up of 2-byte UTF-8 characters, such as: Lògìñ Ùsèr ÌÐ Then things work fine. When I use Unicode Han Character: ? Which, according to this site: http://www.fileformat.info/info/unicode/char/6211/index.htm Has a UTF-8 encoding of 0xE6 0x88 0x91 I can see in UltraEdit, my input properties file has the values "E6 88 91" all in a row, so I'm fairly confident that my input is correct. And When I open the same file in Notepad++ I can see all the characters correctly.     Question A component based system's goal is to solve the problems that derives from inheritance: for example the fact that some parts of the code (that are called components) are reused by very different classes that, hypothetically, would lie in a very different branch of the inheritance tree. That's a very nice concept, but I've found out that CBS is often hard to accomplish without using ugly hacks. Implementations of this system are often far from clean. But I don't want to discuss this any further. My question is: how can I solve the same problems a CBS try to solve with a very clean interface? (possibly with examples, there are a lot of abstract talks about the "perfect" design already). Context Here's an example I was going for before realizing I was just reinventing inheritance again: class Human { public: Position position; Movement movement; Sprite sprite; // other human specific components }; class Zombie { Position position; Movement movement; Sprite sprite; // other zombie specific components }; After writing that I realized I needed an interface, otherwise I would have needed N containers for N different types of objects (or to use boost::variant to gather them all together). So I've thought of polymorphism (move what systems do in a CBS design into class specific functions): class Entity { public: virtual void on_event(Event) {} // not pure virtual on purpose virtual void on_update(World) {} virtual void on_draw(Window) {} }; class Human : public Entity { private: Position position; Movement movement; Sprite sprite; public: virtual void on_event(Event) { ... } virtual void on_update(World) { ... } virtual void on_draw(Window) { ... } }; class Zombie : public Entity { private: Position position; Movement movement; Sprite sprite; public: virtual void on_event(Event) { ... } virtual void on_update(World) { ... } virtual void on_draw(Window) { ... } }; Which was nice, except for the fact that now the outside world would not even be able to know where a Human is positioned (it does not have access to its position member). That would be useful to track the player position for collision detection or if on_update the Zombie would want to track down its nearest human to move towards him. So I added const Position& get_position() const; to both the Zombie and Human classes. And then I realized that both functionality were shared, so it should have gone to the common base class: Entity. Do you notice anything? Yes, with that methodology I would have a god Entity class full of common functionality (which is the thing I was trying to avoid in the first place). Meaning of "hacks" in the implementation I'm referring to I'm talking about the implementations that defines Entities as simple IDs to which components are dynamically attached. Their implementation can vary from C-stylish: int last_id; Position* positions[MAX_ENTITIES]; Movement* movements[MAX_ENTITIES]; Where positions[i], movements[i], component[i], ... make up the entity. Or to more C++-style: int last_id; std::map<int, Position> positions; std::map<int, Movement> movements; From which systems can detect if an entity/id can have attached components.

    Trying to put a single query together to be used eventually in a SQL Server 2005 report. I need to: Pull in all distinct records for values in the "eventid" column for a time frame - this seems to work. For each eventid referenced above, I need to search for all instances of the same eventid to see if there is another record with TaskName like 'review1%'. Again, this seems to work. This is where things get complicated: For each record where TaskName is like review1, I need to see if another record exists with the same eventid and where TaskName='End'. Utimately, I need a count of how many records have TaskName like 'review1%', and then how many have TaskName like 'review1%' AND TaskName='End'. I would think this could be accomplished by setting a new value for each record, and for the eventid, if a record exists with TaskName='End', set to 1, and if not, set to 0. The query below seems to accomplish item #1 above: SELECT eventid, TimeStamp, TaskName, filepath FROM (SELECT eventid, TimeStamp, filepath, TaskName, ROW_NUMBER() OVER(PARTITION BY eventid ORDER BY TimeStamp DESC) AS seq FROM eventrecords where ((TimeStamp >= '2010-4-1 00:00:00.000') and (TimeStamp <= '2010-4-21 00:00:00.000'))) AS T WHERE seq = 1 order by eventid And the query below seems to accomplish #2: SELECT eventid, TimeStamp, TaskName, filepath FROM (SELECT eventid, TimeStamp, filepath, TaskName, ROW_NUMBER() OVER(PARTITION BY eventid ORDER BY TimeStamp DESC) AS seq FROM eventrecords where ((TimeStamp >= '2010-4-1 00:00:00.000') and (TimeStamp <= '2010-4-21 00:00:00.000')) and TaskName like 'Review1%') AS T WHERE seq = 1 order by eventid This will bring back the eventid's that also have a TaskName='End': SELECT eventid, TimeStamp, TaskName, filepath FROM (SELECT eventid, TimeStamp, filepath, TaskName, ROW_NUMBER() OVER(PARTITION BY eventid ORDER BY TimeStamp DESC) AS seq FROM eventrecords where ((TimeStamp >= '2010-4-1 00:00:00.000') and (TimeStamp <= '2010-4-21 00:00:00.000')) and TaskName like 'Review1%') AS T WHERE seq = 1 and eventid in (Select eventid from eventrecords where TaskName = 'End') order by eventid So I've tried the following to TRY to accomplish #3: SELECT eventid, TimeStamp, TaskName, filepath FROM (SELECT eventid, TimeStamp, filepath, TaskName, ROW_NUMBER() OVER(PARTITION BY eventid ORDER BY TimeStamp DESC) AS seq FROM eventrecords where ((TimeStamp >= '2010-4-1 00:00:00.000') and (TimeStamp <= '2010-4-21 00:00:00.000')) and TaskName like 'Review1%') AS T WHERE seq = 1 and case when (eventid in (Select eventid from eventrecords where TaskName = 'End') then 1 else 0) as bit end order by eventid When I try to run this, I get: "Incorrect syntax near the keyword 'then'." Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Haven't seen any examples anywhere quite like this. I should mention that eventrecords has a primary key, but it doesn't seem to help anything when I include it, and I am not permitted to change the table. (ugh) I've received one suggestion to use a cursor and temporary table, but am not sure how badley that would bog down performance when the report is running. Thanks in advance.
