  • Excel Macro To Lookup a User Entered String, and return data from the field next to it

    On worksheet A, a user is prompted to enter a product number, such as BCI610. On worksheet B somewhere, that value exists. I want excel to lookup/find that value, and then return the data in the cell that is right next to it one column to the right, by copying that data, and pasting it somewhere in worksheet A. If I enter BCI610, it should return the value M332651, because that is the number in the cell immediately to the right of BCI610. I tried VLookup and HLookup, but to no avail... Any suggestions?

Well trying to use the jquery UI one, I can't get the input buttons to show up as stars. What I would like to do is when I enter text and click on the submit button of the main search form, the same text gets copied in all of the secondary search forms and all the submit buttons of the secondary search forms get automatically hit.     I'm trying to create a jQuery plugin that will create something like an autoCompleteBox but with custom features. How do I store member variables for each matching jQuery element? For example I'll need to store a timerID for each. I'd also like to store references to some of the DOM elements that make up the control. I'd like to be able to make a public method that works something like: $("#myCtrl").autoCompleteEx.addItem("1"); But in the implementation of addItem() how can I access the member variables for that particular object like its timerID or whatever?   • jQuery bind efficiency

    I'm having issue with load speed using multiple jQuery binds on a couple thousands elements and inputs, is there a more efficient way of doing this? The site has the ability to switch between product lists via ajax calls, the page cannot refresh. Some lists have 10 items, some 100, some over 2000. The issue of speed arises when I start flipping between the lists; each time the 2000+ item list is loaded the system drags for about 10 seconds. Before I rebuild the list I am setting the target element's html to '', and unbinding the two bindings below. I'm sure it has something to do with all the parent, next, and child calls I am doing in the callbacks.   • Array within Form collecting multiple values with the same name possible?

    Good afternoon, I will first start with the goal I am trying to accomplish and then give a very basic sample of what I need to do. Goal Instead of collecting several variables and naming them with keys individually, I have decided to give in and use an array structure to handle all inputs of the same type and rules. Once I have the variables, I will validate against them and if 'ok' store them in a MySQL table. The table will hold consumer information and will need to store multiple rows of the same type of information.   • Javascript auto calculating with (+) and (-)

    I need some help finding the error in my javascript calculation. I need to calculate the sum of my input boxes automatically and have my user be able to edit the calculation using + or - buttons. The code I have already does the calculation automatically if you manually enter the numbers, but pressing the + or - does not change the calculation.     I have a problem when rendering a model of my World - when rendered using BasicEffect, it looks just peachy. Problem is when I render it using deferred rendering.     I'm creating a mobile landing page and I have also created a form that allows me to create more, by duplicating a folder that's host to a template file. The script then takes you to a page where you input the company details one by one and press submit. Then the page is created. My problem is, when a field is left out (YouTube for instance), the button is created and is blank. I would like there to be a default text for when there is no text.     This works: from x in table.AsEnumerable() where x.Field<string>("something") == "value" select x.Field<decimal>("decimalfield"); but, this does not: from x in table.AsEnumerable() .Where(y=>y.Field<string>("something") == "value") .Select(y=>y.Field<decimal>("decimalfield")); I also tried: from x in table.AsEnumerable() .Where(y=>y.Field<string>("something") == "value") .Select(y=>new { name = y.Field<decimal>("decimalfield") }); Looking at the two overloads of the .Select() method, I thought the latter two should both return EnumerableRowCollection, but apparently I am wrong. What am I missing?

My task is to move a file from the client file system to the server file system (the server can be accessed using remote IP, so I cannot use a shared folder as destination, this is why I need a CLR stored procedure). So I plan to: 1) store from Delphi the file in a varbinary(max) column of a temporary table 2) call the CLR stored procedure to create a file at the desired path using the data contained in the varbinary(max) field Imagine I need to move C:\MyFile.pdf to Z:\MyFile.pdf, where C: is a harddrive on local system and Z: is an harddrive on the server. I provide the code below (not working) that someone can modify to make it work? Here I suppose to have a table called MyTable with two fields: ID (int) and DATA (varbinary(max)). Please note it doesn't make a difference if the table is a real temporary table or just a table where I temporarly store the data. I would appreciate if some exception handling code is there (so that I can manage an "impossible to save file" exception). I would like to be able to write a new file or overwrite the file if already existing. The code must run on both platforms, and yet I get errors with JUnit when I attempt to change this static final field. Anyone have any idea what's going on?     Using FullCalendar, is there any way I can programmatically colorize specific days differently than the rest of the days? For example, in the "month" or "week" views, I'd like to colorize days with no events on them "red", and days with some events (but not yet a full schedule) "yellow". Days with a full schedule would be colorized normally (white background). Are there any callbacks or CSS tags I can take advantage of to add this behavior? Thank you.

  • ruby on rails, searchlogic and refactoring

    Hey all, I'mt not too familiar with searchlogic plugin for rails (I did view the railscasts but wasn't helpful in relation to the specific code below). Can anyone briefly describe how it is being used in the three methods below?   • Make two page navigations on top ang bottom of a list

    I'm creating a simple PHP page that reads CSV file content and display some selected columns to users in pages Currently, I'm reading each line and display it immediately. Because of this method, I only know total of lines after finishing reading entire file( searching in file also). What I want is displaying two page navigations on the top and bottom of the list. Like this: Page 1|2|3|4 Field 1|Field 2|Field 3|Field 4|Field 5....|Field n Row1 Row2 .... Rown Page 1|2|3|4 After displaying all rows, bottom page nav, I used jquery function: insertBefore to insert another page navi to the top. Problems are: 1) Top page nav not displayed in IE8 but displayed ater pressing F5(worked in FF, Chrome). 2) Using insertBefore function, the top page nav is suddenly poppep up afer displaying the bottom one. It doesn't look naturally Any suggestion?
