• Get next key-value pair in an object

  So, given a key, I want to find the next property in an object. Then, I want to return the value of the NEXT property. I can not rely on the keys to be ordered or sequential (they're uuids). Please see below for trivial example of what I want: var db ={ a: 1, b: 2, c: 3 } var next = function(db, key) { // ??? } next(db, 'a'); // I want 2 next(db, 'b'); // I want 3 I also want a prev() function, but I'm sure it will be the same solution. This seems like such a trivial problem but I can't for the life of me figure out how to do it. Happy for the solution to use underscore.js or be written in coffeescript :)

  I am trying to get a return value and it keeps giving me an error.   I have a class template which builds a simple array based on the template parameters as one of its members. I need to be able to initialize every element in the array to a single value in one of the constructors. Unfortunately this constructor must be constexpr. The relevant part boils down to: template <typename T, size_t N> class foo { T data[N]; constexpr foo(T val) { // initialize data with N copies of val } }; Using std::fill or a loop is incompatible with the constexpr requirement. Initializing with : data{val} only sets the first element of the array and zero-initializes the remainder. How can this be achieved? I feel like there should be a solution with variadic templates and tuples etc...

• TextMate Theme Select Attribute Value

  Hello, I need to change the color of certain attributes/tags. I am switching from Dreamweaver and making the skin has been really hard in TextMate. As you can see, I want to change the a and img tags along with all of their attributes. The closest I've come to find is entity.other.attribute-name which only works with id for some reason entity.other.attribute-name.id Bonus would be the scope selector for the value of an attribute, e.g. "Logo" alt in the above example. • How to change the default branch to push in mercurial?

  I like creating named branches in Mercurial to deal with features that might take a while to code, so when I push I do a hg push -r default to insure I'm only pushing changes to the default branch. However, it is a pain to have to remember -r default every since time I do do a push or outgoing command. So I tried fix this by adding this config to my ~/.hgrc: [defaults] push = push -r default outgoing = outgoing -r default The problem is, those config lines are not really defaults, they are aliases. They work as intended until I try to do a hg push -r <some revision>. And the "default" I've setup just obliterates the revision I passed in. (I see that defaults are deprecated, but aliases have the same problem). I tried looking around, but I can't find anything that will allow me to set a default branch to push AND allow me to override it when necessary. Anyone know of something else I could do? ps: I do realize that I could have separate clones for each branch, but I would rather not do that. It's annoying to have to switch directories, particularly when you have shared configuration or editor workspaces.

  Hello, I am trying to set up a navigation system that uses GET parameters with no value, example: http://foo.bar/?mainPage takes the visitor to the main page. So I am using if statements and I am wondering if there is a way I can do this without a bunch of if statements? I don't think switch statements would work for this. This is currently what I have: $mainPage = $_GET['mainPage']; $contact = $_GET['contact']; if(isset($mainPage)) { // go to main page } if(isset($contact)) { // go to contact page } I don't want to have to end up writing a ton of if statements, though.   I would like to use the syntax that printf uses, using the %d, %s and adding values after to assign a value to a char[]. Is this possible? e.g. Given an output of: printf("now: %d-%d-%d %d:%d:%d\n", tm.tm_year + 1900, tm.tm_mon + 1, tm.tm_mday, tm.tm_hour, tm.tm_min, tm.tm_sec); I'd like to assign that to char[] output; How can this be done? I have studied the rfc to know the setup the required response headers and this works well on my emulator. Am I right? I am confused why the increasedObject2 prints 5 and not 6. Can anyone please explain?

For a user control with lots of database activity, I would like to use jQuery to set the selected values of all of the dropdowns to their "current" value. I want to do this to make the page appear to have finished the database call. My jQuery skill is not the best, but I believe I need to use the pageLoad().   I have the following code that is being used to successfully upload images: $fileName = $_FILES['file']['name']; $fileSize = $_FILES['file']['size']; $fileType = $_FILES['file']['type']; $fileTmp = $_FILES['file']['tmp_name']; list($origWidth, $origHeight) = getimagesize($fileTmp); The catch is I'm getting an 'Undefined index' on each line. I have print_r($_FILES) just before this code and each array variable exists and I've echo out varibles like $fileName and can see each has a value. Also I have put this before this code block and it makes no difference: $fileName = $fileSize = $fileType = $fileTmp = ''; Any suggestions how I can ensure these variables are defined? thankyou
