  • "Exception: msg 'axis2:null', not-found" when using a suds client with an axis2 server

    I am writing a Suds (Python) SOAP client for an Axis2 server I have no control over. Suds chokes on the WSDL file with the following exception: File "site-packages/suds/wsdl.py", line 494, in resolve raise Exception("msg '%s', not-found" % op.input) Exception: msg 'axis2:null', not-found This is the WSDL file (I have replaced the hostnames with localhost). That is fine. But when i call recv(), i suddently becomes 0. Why is that? It doesn't make sense to me why recv() would take an socket file descriptor number and modify to another number. Is that normal? Am I missing something?   • Couldn't get connection factory client - fighting with Google Maps

    another day another problem, I finally managed to set up correctly google maps on my android application, or at least I thought I've done it, the whole progam starts, it even call the class which should "print" a map, but the only thing I can see is a grid with google label on it [ in the corner ]. I've checked the dalvik monitor and the error E/MapActivity(394): Couldn't get connection factory client occurs. I've find out on stackoverflow website that I should sent a gps signal or sth like this from dalvik monitor, and I've done it.     The following text says this which I'm not able to quite agree : client C sends a request R to server S. The time taken by a communication link to transport R over the link is D. P is the maximum time needed by S to recieve , process and reply to R. If omission failure is assumed ; then if no reply to R is received within 2(D+P) , then C will never recieve a reply to R . Why is the time here 2(D+P). As I understand shouldn't it be 2D+P ?

But there is a value in this field (?? why) Why would it say "value is required" when it does have a value? Have I missed something? Is it because of the $.post instead of the submit? What can I do?     I have some problem with Html.ValidationSummary. I don't want to display property errors in ValidationSummary. And when I set Html.ValidationSummary(true) it does not display error messages from ModelState. When there is some Exception in controller action on string MembersManager.RegisterMember(member); catch section adds an error to the ModelState: ModelState.AddModelError("error", ex.Message); But ValidationSummary does not display this error message. When I set Html.ValidationSummary(false) all messages are displaying, but I don't want to display property errors. How can I fix this problem?     I am working on an MVC2 application and want to set the maxlength attributes of the text inputs. I have already defined the stringlength attribute on the Model object using data annotations and it is validating the length of entered strings correctly. I do not want to repeat the same setting in my views by setting the max length attribute manually when the model already has the information. Is there any way to do this?
