  I'm trying to figure out why I'm getting the following exception when a client app is connecting to JBoss. • Problem interfacing GSM USB modem to Java application

  I am working on an open-source application called FrontlineSMS which can be interfaced with GSM modems to send and receive SMS. The windows installer that is available through their website works fine. Since i wanted to modify it, I got the source code and built the jar and tried to launch it. When I plug in the GSM modem and launch the application, it sometimes detects the GSM device and i am even able to send and receive SMS. Or else 1.)   Problem I'm trying to create an asynchronously updating TreeGrid in GXT but encountering issues. The first issue is that I believe the documentation is 'piss poor', at best.. therefore any chance of learning without using 'word of mouth' seems ridiculous. Instead of moaning any further, I shall inform you what I'd LIKE to do and then hopefully you can tell me if what i want is possible. Example knowledge of Football is recommended here I have a few Async services where: getLeagues() getTeams(League) getPlayers(League,Team) getPosition(League,Team,Player) I'd like to have a grid where once it renders, it makes a call to 'getLeagues', where by the server will respond with a bunch of leagues that are currently active on the server... these will be the 'root node' of the TreeGrid. Then, from here you can expand each league to show the teams, right down to the players and then their positions. I'd like to Create a TreeGrid which has a 'listener' on each node, waiting to asynchronously call the server on request and propogate the tree from here, however I'm not sure if this is possible. Can anybody advise? I'm finding all these Models, BaseTreeModels, TreeStores nauseating.

  This should be totally simple but I can't get it working no matter what I try. I'm trying to use Google Analytics with GWT application. From what I understood, there are two way to do it: First is synchronous, by inserting tracking code at the end of <head> section HTML page and then calling this method: public static native void recordAnalyticsHit(String pageName) /*-{ pageTracker._trackPageview(pageName); }-*/; Second is asynchronous, by inserting tracking code just after <body> tag and then calling this method: public static native void recordAnalyticsHit(String pageName) /*-{ _gaq.push(['_trackPageview(' + pageName + ')']); }-*/; When running each of those methods, however, I get this exceptions in hosted mode: [ERROR] [myproject] Uncaught exception escaped com.google.gwt.core.client.JavaScriptException: (ReferenceError): pageTracker is not defined [ERROR] [myproject] Uncaught exception escaped com.google.gwt.core.client.JavaScriptException: (ReferenceError): _gaq is not defined When observing site in Firebug, I see that ga.js gets loaded, but that's about it.   I manage a group of programmers. I do value my employees opinion but lately we've been divided as to which framework to use on web projects. I personally favor MooTools, but some of my team seems to want to migrate to jQuery because it is more widely adopted. That by itself is not enough for me to allow a migration. I have used both jQuery and MooTools. This particular essay tends to reflect how I feel about both frameworks. jQuery is great for DOM Manipulation, but seem to be limited to helping you do that. From what I've read online and in the Language Patterns book, I should be able to modify the grammar like this: assignment : IDENT ':=' expr ';' -> ^(':=' IDENT expr) ; expr : factor ('*' factor)* -> ^('*' factor+) ; factor : primary ('+' primary)* -> ^('+' primary+) ; primary : NUM | '(' expr ')' -> ^(expr) ; But it does not work. Although it compiles fine, when I run the parser I get a RewriteEmptyStreamException error. Here's where things get weird. If I define the pseudo tokens ADD and MULT and use them instead of the tree node literals, it works without error. tokens { ADD; MULT; } expr : factor ('*' factor)* -> ^(MULT factor+) ; factor : primary ('+' primary)* -> ^(ADD primary+) ; Alternatively, if I use the node suffix notation, it also appears to work fine: expr : factor ('*'^ factor)* ; factor : primary ('+'^ primary)* ; Is this discrepancy in behavior a bug?

We even tried removing out nonce store and using a stateless connection, but that didn't work either. We always get the same error. We suspected the issue is arising as a result of the cluster node having a different IP from the load balancer when it connects to the OpenID Provider, but we're not sure. Any ideas?

  Hi Everyone, I've been trying to use TransactionScope with a DB2 database (using DB2 .Net provider v 9.0.0.2 and c# 2.0) which SHOULD be supported according to IBM. I have tried all the advice i could find on the IBM forums (such as here) to no avail. I have enabled XA transactions on my XP Sp2 machine, tried also from a Win 2003 Server machine but i consistently get the infamous error: ERROR [58005] [IBM][DB2/NT] SQL0998N Error occurred during transaction or heuristic processing. Reason Code = "16". Subcode = "2-80004005". SQLSTATE=58005 The windows event log says: The XA Transaction Manager attempted to load the XA resource manager DLL. The call to LOADLIBRARY for the XA resource manager DLL failed: DLL=C:\APPS\IBM\DB2v95fp2\SQLLIB\BIN\DB2APP.DLL File=d:\comxp_sp2\com\com1x\dtc\dtc\xatm\src\xarmconn.cpp Line=2467. Also, granted the NETWORK SERVICE user full rights to the folder and dll. • Starting Java applet directly from jar file

  The goal is to have an applet run from a jar file. The problem is that the applet only seems to want to run from an exploded jar file. • Why is it so difficult to get a working IDE for Scala?

  I recently gave up trying to use Scala in Eclipse (basic stuff like completion doesn't work). So now I'm trying IntelliJ. I'm not getting very far. This was the original error. See below for update: Scala signature Predef has wrong version Expected 5.0 found: 4.1 in .... scala-library.jar I tried both versions 2.7.6 and 2.8 RC1 of scala-*.jar, the result was the same. JDK is 1.6.u20. UPDATE Today I uninstalled IntelliJ 9.0.1, and installed 9.0.2 Early Availability, with the 4/14 stable version of the Scala plug-in. • Incorporating the Windows 7 onscreen keyboard into a WPF app

  Windows 7 has a really nice onscreen keyboard program/control for touchscreens. I have a touchscreen app that was originally written for, and will be deployed on, XP. Is it possible to incorporate this keyboard directly into my app, rather than me using a custom control? I can find no programmatic information about it, so any links would be very helpful. Specifically, I'd need: To be able to use the keyboard on an XP machine that will have .NET 3.5 sp1 installed on it. To be able to hide the native keyboard on Windows 7, because I've already incorporated the touchscreen keyboard in my UI and so I don't need another one cluttering up the UI. This native keyboard has two attractive aspects to it. First off, it's automatically localized to the customer's language (though the rest of the app will need modification), and second off, it doesn't seem to suffer from 'touch lag' as the OS tries to figure out whether or not I'm doing a gesture, because I'm clearly typing on a keyboard. The app is WPF based, which should mean easy integration with Windows 7 based controls. EDIT: I'd really like the XP thing, but it's not a requirement. The ability to use the keyboard in Win7, though, seems like it should be possible and even the right way to do it.

  Hi, i'm trying to generate the following diagram using Image_GraphViz for PEAR. However It only shows a top-level node (with the text "0") and childnodes "1", "2", "3" and "4" directly under the top-node. Am I missing something? Under 'About this Mac' it says 'Intel Core 2 Duo' which Apple says is 64 bit. So why, after doing sudo gem pristine --all am I still getting this kind of error? dlopen(/Applications/Rails/ruby/lib/ruby/gems/1.8/gems/nokogiri-1.4.2/lib/nokogiri/nokogiri.bundle, 9): no suitable image found.
