  If I do an override of a clone method the compiler create a bridge method to guarantee a correct polymorphism: class Point { Point() { } protected Point clone() throws CloneNotSupportedException { return this; // not good only for example!!! } protected volatile Object clone() throws CloneNotSupportedException { return clone(); } } so when is invoked the clone method the bridge method is invoked and inside it is invoked the correct clone method. But my question is when into the bridge method is called return clone() how do the VM to say that it must invoke Point clone() and not itself again???

• C# - Moving a control to the mouse's position

  Hello everybody. I am trying to get a control to follow the cursor when the user clicks and drag the control. The problem is that 1.) the control doesn't go to the mouse's position, and 2.) the control flickers and flies all over the place. I've tried a few different methods of doing this, but all so far have failed. I've tried: protected override void OnMouseDown(MouseEventArgs e) { while (e.Button == System.Windows.Forms.MouseButtons.Left) { this.Location = e.Location; } } and protected override void OnMouseMove(MouseEventArgs e) { while (e.Button == System.Windows.Forms.MouseButtons.Left) { this.Location = e.Location; } } but neither of these work. • web service filling gridview awfully slow, as is paging/sorting

  I have a baseclass with a protected static ArrayList. I want to have a seperate ArrayList for each kind of subclass that extends this baseclass. The null value semantics of a component are ad hoc. When reloading the containing object, NHibernate will assume that if all component columns are null, then the entire component is null. This should be okay for most purposes. Can I override this behaviour? I want my Date class to be instantiated even if date is null. Thanks,

• Question about C# properties

  Hey there, i bumped the other day into a little problem regarding C#'s properties. Let's say i do have this setup: public class Point { public float X; public float Y; } public class Control { protected Point m_Position = new Point(); public Position { get { return m_Position; } set { m_Position = value; } // reorganize internal structure.. reorganize(); } protected reorganize() { // do some stuff } } This is all fine, but when it comes to usage, i could write something like: Control myControl = new Control(); myControl.Position.X = 1.0f; The thing is, my Control class wont recognize that the Position has been changed because set hasn't been called.   Hello I am writing an Application in which i am parsing JSON Images and then caching into SD Card. What I want to do ? I want to load images into GridView from JSON (by caching images into SD Card), and wanna populate GridView (no matter Internet available or not) once images already downloaded into SD Card. What I am getting ? • Is it possible to apply inheritance to a Singleton class?

  Hi, Today I faced one question in interview. Is it possible to apply inheritance concept on Singleton Classes. I said since the constructor is private, we cannot extend that Singleton class (can someone please validate this). Next thing he asked me is to apply inheritance on that Singleton class. So, I made the Singleton's constructor as protected thinking that child's constructor also has be protected. But I was wrong the child can have a modifier either equal to or higher than that. So, I asked him to give a real world example on such a case. He was not able to give me one and said that I cant ask questions and wanted me to tell whether this scenario is possible or not. I went kind of blank. My question here is, Is this possible? Even if its possible, what is the use of it? What real world scenario would demand such a use. Thanks

  I faced with funny situation. I created a page which is having some value, I set these value and control my post back event also. The problem is happening when I change a component index(ex reselect a combobox which is not inside my datagrid) then I dont know why without my page call the Page_Load it goes to create a new row in grid function and all of my parameter are null! I am just receiving null exception. So in other word I try to explain the situation: when I load my page I am initializing some parameter. then everything is working fine. in my page when I change selected item of my combo box, page suppose to go and run function related to that combo box, and call page_load, but it is not going there and it goes to rowcreated function. I am trying to illustrate part of my page.
