  Hello, I'm working on some project where I use the type mpz_t from the GMP C library. I have some problems passing an array of structures (containing mpz_ts) adress to a function : I wille try to explain my problem with some code. So here is the structure : struct mpz_t2{ mpz_t a; mpz_t b; }; typedef struct mpz_t2 *mpz_t2; void petit_test(mpz_t2 *test[]) { printf("entering petit test function\n"); for (int i=0; i < 4; i++) { gmp_printf("test[%d]->a = %Zd and test[%d]->b = %Zd\n", test[i]->a, test[i]->b); } } /* IN MAIN FUNCTION */ mpz_t2 *test = malloc(4 * sizeof(mpz_t2 *)); for (int i=0; i < 4; i++) { mpz_t2_init(&test[i]); // if I pass test[i] : compiler error mpz_set_ui(test[i].a, i); //if test[i]->a compiler error mpz_set_ui(test[i].b, i*10); //same problem gmp_printf("%Zd\n", test[i].b); //prints correct result } petit_test(test); The programm prints the expected result (in main) but after entering the petit_test function produces a segmentation fault error. I would need to edit the mpz_t2 structure array in petit_test. I tried some other ways allocating and passing the array to the function but I didn't manage to get this right. I have no idea what that error means, nor how to start solving it. /home/...../active_support/dependencies.rb:492:in `load_missing_constant': Expected /home/...../app/controllers/admin/posts_controller.rb to define Admin::PostsController (LoadError) I may have it all set up wrong, or may be doing something really silly, but all I want is my CRUD actions on /admin, with separate before filters and a separate layout. And to test these controllers. EDIT ZOMG, made a terrible copy-paste error into this SO posting. The controller was PostsController, not the PagesController that I pasted into there. Problem still stands, as my code is correct, just the SO post, here was wrong.

• Web Deployment Project failed to map path for include virtual

  I am building my site with a web deployment project but the build fails with a number of errors all relating to the "#include virtual" directives in my master page. The includes are necessary to import a set of centrally managed html template files. Here is an example of the include directive and associated error: <!-- #include virtual="/v3/sits/pdpdev/assets-templates/inc/head.html" --> /PDPRegistration.csproj/Pages/ContentPage.Master(15): error ASPPARSE: Failed to map the path '/v3/sits/pdpdev/assets-templates/inc/head.html'. The error for each included file actually appears multiple times. I'm not sure what is being mapped or why, but this was never a problem until I started using WDP (which I wanted to alter web.config depending on the build environment, among other things.) The project is built locally on my PC and then copied to the web server via a mapped drive. I found a few solutions on the 'net involving IIS metabase - they weren't quite clear to me, and I'm not sure if they apply given how I build and deploy the project (that is, would I have to build on the same system as IIS in order to make use of the metabase?) Can anyone suggest how I can get my project to build with WDP?

  I am getting this error on code that used to work. I have not changed the code. Here is the full error: The CLR has been unable to transition from COM context 0x3322d98 to COM context 0x3322f08 for 60 seconds. The thread that owns the destination context/apartment is most likely either doing a non pumping wait or processing a very long running operation without pumping Windows messages. This situation generally has a negative performance impact and may even lead to the application becoming non responsive or memory usage accumulating continually over time. To avoid this problem, all single threaded apartment (STA) threads should use pumping wait primitives (such as CoWaitForMultipleHandles) and routinely pump messages during long running operations. I use Cacti to keep stats: at the time when the server crashed, a huge spike from Load 1 to Load 200 occurred, with over 800 processes in the run queue ( from 300 average). • Validation Summary for Lists using Data Annotations with MVC

  I currently use a custom method to display validation error messages for lists but would like to replace this system for using with Data Annotations. In summary on validation of my form, I want to display "*" next to each input that is incorrect and also provide a Validation Summary at the bottom that relates each error message to the particular item in the list. e.g. say if validation failed on the 2nd list item on a Name input box and the 4th item on an Address input box the validation summary would display [2] Name is invalid [4] Address is invalid Please ignore if there are mistakes in the code below. I'm just writing this as an example. • Abstract classes in shared library

  Hi, I have an ordinary abstract class that has couple of pure virtual methods. The class itself is a part of the shared library. The compilation of the shared library itself is OK. But when the library is linked to another program that has another class deriving from the abstract one in the shared library and defining the pure virtual methods, I get the following linker error: I compile like this..: g++ -I../path/to/the/library main.cpp derived.cpp -L../path/to/the/library -lsomename -o shared ...and the linker error is: libsomename.so: undefined reference to `AbstractClass::method()' It's like the abstract class cannot access its pure virtual methods but I do not try to make any instance of the abstract class anywhere in the library. What could be the problem?

  I'm trying to use this code which is an example taken from here https://gist.github.com/2383248 , but it is coming up with a error on the public void onClick which is Multiple markers at this line - implements android.view.View.OnClickListener.onClick - Syntax error, insert "}" to complete MethodBody, but when I add the brace it just throws another error after many tries and fails of different suggestions and ideas.   I get the following error while openning a .xls file in Libreoffice Calc, Ubuntu 12.04 [LibreOffice 3.5.5.2; Build ID: 350m 1 (Build:2)] To overcome this I checked the LibreOffice Security Level to Low under Macro Security (from Tools---- Options--- Security tab. Then I went ahead intalling java by running the following commands from the terminal window (with some tips from various forums) sudo add-apt-repository ppa:libreoffice/ppa sudo apt-get update sudo apt-get install libreoffice libreoffice-java-common libreoffice-math libreoffice-gnome libreoffice-java-common Still I got the BASIC runtime error (as in the title), even after clicking Tools---- Options ---- Java and checking the 'Use a Java runtime environment option' and then clicking on 'Sun Microsystems Inc' under listed JRE environments installed. Even I ran the following commands to install latest Java run time environments from terminal window sudo apt-get install openjdk-7-jre icedtea-7-plugin But still I get the same Basicruntime error (details as in the title bar). This particular file opens perfectly in Microsoft Excel 2007, in Win XP Professional.

• Failure connecting to Dell MD3200i from XenServer 6.2 pool

  This question also asked at Citrix Forums http://forums.citrix.com/thread.jspa?threadID=332289 I have a MD3200i that is currently working fine with my Xen5.6 pool, but I cannot get a connection to the new 6.2 pool to work. I previously had a problem with a 6.0 upgrade (which is why the old pool is still on 5.6), but rolled back rather than fix it as it wasn't urgent at the time. This install is on new machines - I tried 6.1 first (which had the same problems) then 6.2 was released the second day after installation so I switched to that. I've not installed anything from the Dell resource DVD at this point - I can't find anything saying I should, and everything I have read suggests it shouldn't be necessary. I can ping all 8 ip addresses from both servers in the pool, iscsiadm -m discovery works fine, I can login to the nodes and iscsiadm reports the sessions active correctly. I've added the required sections to multipath.conf, but multipath -ll reports DM multipath kernel driver not loaded immediately after boot. • Why do I get this error trying to compile libxml2?

  Although, I installed libxml2 once and reinstalled it for a few times. I cannot compile c-source code because compiler cannot find where the header file is. I am able to locate where it is (in the folder where I downloaded the tar.gz package) but I had a feeling in my guts that this package isn't installed correctly because when I tried to sudo make install, it says /bin/bash: /home/bfaskiplar/Downloads/tar.gz: No such file or directory make[2]: *** [install-libLTLIBRARIES] Error 127 make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/bfaskiplar/Downloads/tar.gz packages/libxml2-2.8.0' make[1]: *** [install-am] Error 2 make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/bfaskiplar/Downloads/tar.gz packages/libxml2-2.8.0' make: *** [install-recursive] Error 1 that's why I installed synaptic package manager and reinstalled it, but in this case, isn't it supposed to put header files in default directory where gcc normally searches in currently, I am able to compile it with -I option, but I wonder why do I have to copy headers manually even if I used synaptic for installation and why I am getting Error 1 and Error 2 when trying to install the package manually. thanks in advance
