    I'm working on a page that uses mediaelement.js to play mp3/mp4/wmv (yes, we have a lot of wmv). I have a list of links and those links should change the player. My effort is to make the changes to the player through javascript so that the page doesn't refresh. This code is working, but it refreshes every time. I've read a couple pages that referenced refreshing the DOM after the javascript runs, but I haven't been able to successfully do it (I know enough about javascript to hack things around and get stuff working, but not enough to create whole new things). It is worth noting that Silverlight doesn't work with Internet Explorer 8 or Safari (not sure if it's my code, mejs, or the browsers). Also, neither Silverlight nor Flash play mp3 or webm (again, not sure where the problem lies). Is there a way to dynamically load different types of files into mediaelement?

Now, I'm required to do the "check-extension" in the other way: at the moment the client click and choose FileUpload, an alert show "Extension of files are not allowed.". I need a way to make an alert show at the momment the FileUpload choosed in browser. Help!!!!

  • python: simple example for a python egg with a one-file source file?

    I'm not quite sure how to build a really simple one-file source module. Is there a sample module out there one the web somewhere which can be built as a python .egg? From the setuptools page it looks pretty simple, you just have your setup.py file and then at least one other .py file somewhere, and I can build an .egg file OK, and even install it using easy_install, but I can't seem to import the file from within python. (note: using 2.6.4)

  • Where to put a textfile I want to use in eclipse?

    hi there, I need to read a text file when I start my program. I'm using eclipse and started a new java project. In my project folder I got the "src" folder and the standard "JRE System Library"... I just don't know where to put the text file. I cannot use a "hard coded" path because the text file needs to be included with my app... I also tried to create a new folder like "Files" and use the pathe "Files/staedteliste.txt".. doesn't work too...     I'd like to have my PHP script upload a file with a certain filename in a directory of my choosing. However, the catch is that I need it to exist there immediately upon upload so I can moniter it on my server. I don't want to use a PHP extension or something - this should be very easy to transfer to any PHP setup. So basically: Is there a way to guarantee that, from the very beginning of the file upload process, the file has a certain name and location on the server?

  • accessing files after setup.py install

    I'm developing a python application and have a question regarding coding it so that it still works after an user has installed it on his or her machine via setup.py install or similar. In one of my files, I use the following: file = "TestParser/View/MainWindow.ui" cwd = os.getcwd() argv_path = os.path.dirname(sys.argv[0]) file_path = os.path.join(cwd, argv_path, file) in order to get the path to MainWindow.ui, when I only know the path relative to the main script's location. This works regardless of from where I call the main script. The issue is that after an user installs the application on his or her machine, the relative path is different, so this doesn't work. I could use __file__, but according to this, py2exe doesn't have __file__. Is there a standard way of achieving this? Or a better way?

  • Execute less compiler anywhere on the computer

    I'm having a little problem with executing *.cmd files so I can execute them anywhere on the computer with cmd. What I exactly want is to execute the less.cmd file, which support optional arguments and uses lessc.wsf (Less.js compiler for Windows Script Host) for converting less css to pure css. The less.cmd contains: ::For convenience @cscript //nologo "%~dp0lessc.wsf" %* What I've done so far: added absolute path to lessc.cmd to the PATH system variable and moved .cmd in the PATHTEXT system variable to the beginning. Also did this: From a command prompt; assoc .bat should return with ..bat=batfile If not assoc .bat=batfile to restore the default file type association. ftype batfile should return with batfile="%1" %* If not ftype batfile="%1" %* to restore the default "Open" action for the file type. This still doesn't work unless I approach the cmd file with a absolute path in cmd, if I enter lessc anywhere else then I get C:\Intel Intel is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. , I've restarted my computer more than once to be sure changes will take effect. I hope somebody has the answer.

    I need to get a total count of JPG files within a specified directory, including ALL it's subdirectories. No sub-sub directories. Structure looks like this : dir1/ 2 files subdir 1/ 8 files total dir1 = 10 files dir2/ 5 files subdir 1/ 2 files subdir 2/ 8 files total dir2 = 15 files I have this function, which doesn't work fine as it only counts files in the last subdirectory, and total is 2x more than the actual amount of files.     Hi, I have a war file and when deploying it thro the admin console in websphere i am getting the following error after specifying the war file location and the context-root. The EAR file might be corrupt or incomplete. org.eclipse.jst.j2ee.commonarchivecore.internal.exception.DeploymentDescriptorLoadException: WEB-INF/web.xml Any suggesstions to resolve this issue?   • In PHP... best way to turn string representation of a folder structure into nested array

    Hi everyone, I looked through the related questions for a similar question but I wasn't seeing quite what I need, pardon if this has already been answered already. In my database I have a list of records that I want represented to the user as files inside of a folder structure. So for each record I have a VARCHAR column called "FolderStructure" that I want to identify that records place in to the folder structure. The series of those flat FolderStructure string columns will create my tree structure with the folders being seperated by backslashes (naturally). I didn't want to add another table just to represent a folder structure... The 'file' name is stored in a separate column so that if the FolderStructure column is empty, the file is assumed to be at the root folder. What is the best way to turn a collection of these records into a series of HTML UL/LI tags... where each LI represents a file and each folder structure being an UL embedded inside it's parent?? So for example: file - folderStructure foo - bar - firstDir blue - firstDir/subdir would produce the following HTML: <ul> <li>foo</li> <ul> <li> bar </li> <ul> <li> blue </li> </ul> </ul> </ul> Thanks

    I am using the FileVersionInfo to retrieve the version of a .Net assembly. Then, I want to immediately delete the file. Unfortunately after I call GetVersionInfo, any attempt to delete the file results in an error “…in use by another process…” Is there another technique to determine the version that does not lock the file? Or, is it possible to ensure the lock is released after calling GetVersionInfo?     Let me first describe my situation, I am working on a Linux platform and have a collection of .bmp files that add one to the picture number from filename0022.bmp up to filename0680.bmp. So a total of 658 pictures. I want to be able to run each of these pictures through a .exe file that operates on the picture then kicks out the file to a file specified by the user, it also has some threshold arguments: lower, upper. So the typical call for the executable is: ./filter inputfile outputfile lower upper Is there a way that I can loop this call over all the files just from the terminal or by creating some kind of bash script?     PdfFileReader reads the content from a pdf file to create an object. I am querying the pdf from a cdn via urllib.urlopen(), this provides me a file like object, which has no seek. PdfFileReader, however uses seek. What is the simple way to create a PdfFileReader object from a pdf downloaded via url. Now, what can I do to avoid writing to disk and reading it again via file().
