  • C#: How would you only draw certain ListView Items while in Virtual Mode?

    - by Jonathan Richter
    C#: How would you only draw certain ListView Items while in Virtual Mode? I am trying to create a filter-like feature to use in listview so that if the user selects an imageindex from 0-5, it will loop through the listview items and only make it so that the items in question with the correct image index will be displayed and the other items will be hidden. How would I go upon creating such a routine?

  • File Enumeration with ANT

    - by 1ndivisible
    I feel like I'm missing something obvious at the moment. I want to collect a set of dirs / files together in ANT. I know I can do it using a fileset with an optional patternset inside it, but that involves searching for files based a specific criterior - filetype, name etc. I already know the paths to the files I want to collect. I have n properties which reference these paths. I want a way to collect these paths in a fileset, though I cannot find a way to do it. This represents what I want to achieve (I know it isn't valid code, but hopefully it will describe what I mean): <fileset> <path>${src.dir}</path> <path>${test.dir}</path> <path>${third.party.src.dir}</path> <path>${bin.dir}</path> <path>${docs.build.txt}</path> </fileset>

  • Can I Move a MediaWiki site to a new virtual folder?

    - by Tyler
    I had MediaWiki installed in as the default site on my server using IIS 6 and I created a virtual directory and pointed it to the Wiki folder. The page loads, but all the links are pointing to the original location that is no longer pointing to the Wiki Folder. Info Server Name: tech Path to Wiki: http://tech/wiki/ Example Links Wrong Link - This is the current link displayed http://tech/index.php?title=Main_Page The link should look like this http://tech/wiki/index.php?title=Main_Page All of the links are not showing the /wiki Any ideas?

  • Workaround for abstract attributes in Java

    - by deamon
    In Scala I would write an abstract class with an abstract attribute path: abstract class Base { val path: String } class Sub extends Base { override val path = "/demo/" } Java doesn't know abstract attributes and I wonder what would be the best way to work around this limitation. My ideas: a) constructor parameter abstract class Base { protected String path; protected Base(String path) { this.path = path; } } class Sub extends Base { public Sub() { super("/demo/"); } } b) abstract method abstract class Base { // could be an interface too abstract String getPath(); } class Sub extends Base { public String getPath() { return "/demo/"; } } Which one do you like better? Other ideas? I tend to use the constructor since the path value should not be computed at runtime.

  • How do you parse with SAX using Attributes & Values to a URL path using iPhone SDK?

    - by Jim
    I'm trying to get my head around parsing with SAX and thought a good place to start was the TopSongs example found at the iPhone Dev Center. I get most of it but when it comes to reaching Attributes and Values within a node I can't find a good example anywhere. The XML has a path to a URL for the coverArt. And the XML node looks like this. <itms:coverArt height="60" width="60">http://a1.phobos.apple.com/us/r1000/026/Music/aa/aa/27/mzi.pbxnbfvw.60x60-50.jpg</itms:coverArt> What I've tried is this for the startElement… ((prefix != NULL && !strncmp((const char *)prefix, kName_Itms, kLength_Itms)) && (!strncmp((const char *)localname, kName_CoverArt, kLength_Item) && !strncmp((const char *)attributes, kAttributeName_CoverArt, kAttributeLength_CoverArt) && !strncmp((const char *)attributes, kValueName_CoverArt, kValueLength_CoverArt) || !strncmp((const char *)localname, kName_Artist, kLength_Artist) || and picking it up again with just the localname at the end like this. if (!strncmp((const char *)localname, kName_CoverArt, kLength_CoverArt)) { importer.currentSong.coverArt = [NSURL URLWithString:importer.currentString]; The trace is -[Song setCoverArt:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance.

  • How does PATH environment affect my running executable from using msvcr90 to msvcr80 ???

    - by Runner
    #include <gtk/gtk.h> int main( int argc, char *argv[] ) { GtkWidget *window; gtk_init (&argc, &argv); window = gtk_window_new (GTK_WINDOW_TOPLEVEL); gtk_widget_show (window); gtk_main (); return 0; } I tried putting various versions of MSVCR80.dll under the same directory as the generated executable(via cmake),but none matched. Is there a general solution for this kinda problem? UPDATE Some answers recommend install the VS redist,but I'm not sure whether or not it will affect my installed Visual Studio 9, can someone confirm? Manifest file of the executable <assembly xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v1" manifestVersion="1.0"> <trustInfo xmlns="urn:schemas-microsoft-com:asm.v3"> <security> <requestedPrivileges> <requestedExecutionLevel level="asInvoker" uiAccess="false"></requestedExecutionLevel> </requestedPrivileges> </security> </trustInfo> <dependency> <dependentAssembly> <assemblyIdentity type="win32" name="Microsoft.VC90.DebugCRT" version="9.0.21022.8" processorArchitecture="x86" publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b"></assemblyIdentity> </dependentAssembly> </dependency> </assembly> It seems the manifest file says it should use the MSVCR90, why it always reporting missing MSVCR80.dll? FOUND After spending several hours on it,finally I found it's caused by this setting in PATH: D:\MATLAB\R2007b\bin\win32 After removing it all works fine.But why can that setting affect my running executable from using msvcr90 to msvcr80 ???

  • How do I create a graph from this datastructure?

    - by Shawn Mclean
    I took this data structure from this A* tutorial: public interface IHasNeighbours<N> { IEnumerable<N> Neighbours { get; } } public class Path<TNode> : IEnumerable<TNode> { public TNode LastStep { get; private set; } public Path<TNode> PreviousSteps { get; private set; } public double TotalCost { get; private set; } private Path(TNode lastStep, Path<TNode> previousSteps, double totalCost) { LastStep = lastStep; PreviousSteps = previousSteps; TotalCost = totalCost; } public Path(TNode start) : this(start, null, 0) { } public Path<TNode> AddStep(TNode step, double stepCost) { return new Path<TNode>(step, this, TotalCost + stepCost); } public IEnumerator<TNode> GetEnumerator() { for (Path<TNode> p = this; p != null; p = p.PreviousSteps) yield return p.LastStep; } IEnumerator IEnumerable.GetEnumerator() { return this.GetEnumerator(); } } I have no idea how to create a simple graph with. How do I add something like the following undirected graph using C#: Basically I'd like to know how to connect nodes. I have my own datastructures that I can already determine the neighbors and the distance. I'd now like to convert that into this posted datastructure so I can run it through the AStar algorithm. I was seeking something more like: Path<EdgeNode> startGraphNode = new Path<EdgeNode>(tempStartNode); startGraphNode.AddNeighbor(someOtherNode, distance);

  • getcwd for current location based on ftp account permission

    - by John Doe
    Hello. I'm trying to make a small script that's changing the permission for specific file using a ftp connection. My problem is the absolute path. I have a ftp account wich land on the script directory (/script/). If i'm using getcwd, it will return the whole path (/home/user/public_html/script) but i need only the difference between the full path and the current path (getcwd path: /home/user/public_html/script/ ftp landing path: /script). So, how can i use getcwd to get the current directory for a ftp account? For example, if the user is landing in public_html, the path to the script will be /script/, or if he is landing inside /user, the path will be /public_html/script. Thanks

  • Using ant, rename a directory without knowing the full path?

    - by mixonic
    Howdy friends, Given a zipfile with an unknown directory, how can I rename or move that directory to a normalized path? <!-- Going to fetch some stuff --> <target name="get.remote"> <!-- Get the zipfile --> <get src="http://myhost.com/package.zip" dest="package.zip"/> <!-- Unzip the file --> <unzip src="package.zip" dest="./"/> <!-- Now there is a package-3d28djh3 directory. The part after package- is a hash and cannot be known ahead of time --> <!-- Remove the zipfile --> <delete file="package.zip"/> <!-- Now we need to rename "package-3d28djh3" to "package". My best attempt is below, but it just moves package-3d28djh3 into package instead of renaming the directory. --> <!-- Make a new home for the contents. --> <mkdir dir="package" /> <!-- Move the contents --> <move todir="package/"> <fileset dir="."> <include name="package-*/*"/> </fileset> </move> </target> I'm not much of an ant user, any insight would be helpful. Thanks much, -Matt

  • c++ compile error

    Hi, I am trying to develop abstract design pattern code for one of my project as below.. But, I am not able to compile the code ..giving some compile errors(like "conversion from 'ProductA1 *' to 'ProductA *' exists, but is inaccessible" ).. Can any one please help me out in this... #include "stdafx.h" #include <iostream> using namespace std; class ProductA { public: virtual void Operation1()=0; virtual void Operation2()=0; }; class ProductA1 : ProductA { public: virtual void Operation1() {cout<<"PD ProductA1 Operation1"<<endl; } virtual void Operation2() {cout<<"PD ProductA1 Operation2"<<endl; } }; class ProductA2 : ProductA { public: virtual void Operation1() {cout<<"DT ProductA2 Operation1"<<endl; } virtual void Operation2() {cout<<"DT ProductA2 Operation2"<<endl; } }; //------------------------------------------------------------- class ProductB { public: virtual void Operation3()=0; virtual void Operation4()=0; }; class ProductB1 : ProductB { public: void Operation3() { cout<<"PD ProductB1 Operation3"<<endl; } void Operation4() { cout<<"PD ProductB1 Operation4"<<endl; } }; class ProductB2 : ProductB { public: void Operation3() { cout<<"DT ProductB2 Operation3"<<endl; } void Operation4() { cout<<"DT ProductB2 Operation4"<<endl; } }; //--------------- abstrct factory --------------------------- class Factory { public: virtual ProductA* CreateA () =0; virtual ProductB* CreateB ()=0; }; class Factory1 : Factory { public: ProductA* CreateA () { return new ProductA1(); } ProductB* CreateB () { return new ProductB1(); } }; class Factory2 : Factory { public: ProductA* CreateA () { return new ProductA2(); } ProductB* CreateB () { return new ProductB2(); } }; //--------------------- client -------------------------------- int _tmain(int argc, _TCHAR* argv[]) { Factory* pf = new Factory1(); ProductA *pa = pf->CreateA(); pa->Operation1(); pa->Operation2(); ProductB *pb = pf->CreateB(); pb->Operation3(); pb->Operation4(); return 0; }

  • Problem creating levels using inherited classes/polymorphism

    - by Adam
    I'm trying to write my level classes by having a base class that each level class inherits from...The base class uses pure virtual functions. My base class is only going to be used as a vector that'll have the inherited level classes pushed onto it...This is what my code looks like at the moment, I've tried various things and get the same result (segmentation fault). //level.h class Level { protected: Mix_Music *music; SDL_Surface *background; SDL_Surface *background2; vector<Enemy> enemy; bool loaded; int time; public: Level(); virtual ~Level(); int bgX, bgY; int bg2X, bg2Y; int width, height; virtual void load(); virtual void unload(); virtual void update(); virtual void draw(); }; //level.cpp Level::Level() { bgX = 0; bgY = 0; bg2X = 0; bg2Y = 0; width = 2048; height = 480; loaded = false; time = 0; } Level::~Level() { } //virtual functions are empty... I'm not sure exactly what I'm supposed to include in the inherited class structure, but this is what I have at the moment... //level1.h class Level1: public Level { public: Level1(); ~Level1(); void load(); void unload(); void update(); void draw(); }; //level1.cpp Level1::Level1() { } Level1::~Level1() { enemy.clear(); Mix_FreeMusic(music); SDL_FreeSurface(background); SDL_FreeSurface(background2); music = NULL; background = NULL; background2 = NULL; Mix_CloseAudio(); } void Level1::load() { music = Mix_LoadMUS("music/song1.xm"); background = loadImage("image/background.png"); background2 = loadImage("image/background2.png"); Mix_OpenAudio(48000, MIX_DEFAULT_FORMAT, 2, 4096); Mix_PlayMusic(music, -1); } void Level1::unload() { } //functions have level-specific code in them... Right now for testing purposes, I just have the main loop call Level1 level1; and use the functions, but when I run the game I get a segmentation fault. This is the first time I've tried writing inherited classes, so I know I'm doing something wrong, but I can't seem to figure out what exactly.

  • Android 2D terrain scrolling

    - by Nikola Ninkovic
    I want to make infinite 2D terrain based on my algorithm.Then I want to move it along Y axis (to the left) This is how I did it : public class Terrain { Queue<Integer> _bottom; Paint _paint; Bitmap _texture; Point _screen; int _numberOfColumns = 100; int _columnWidth = 20; public Terrain(int screenWidth, int screenHeight, Bitmap texture) { _bottom = new LinkedList<Integer>(); _screen = new Point(screenWidth, screenHeight); _numberOfColumns = screenWidth / 6; _columnWidth = screenWidth / _numberOfColumns; for(int i=0;i<=_numberOfColumns;i++) { // Generate terrain point and put it into _bottom queue } _paint = new Paint(); _paint.setStyle(Paint.Style.FILL); _paint.setShader(new BitmapShader(texture, Shader.TileMode.REPEAT, Shader.TileMode.REPEAT)); } public void update() { _bottom.remove(); // Algorithm calculates next point _bottom.add(nextPoint); } public void draw(Canvas canvas) { Iterator<Integer> i = _bottom.iterator(); int counter = 0; Path path = new Path(); path.moveTo(0, _screen.y); while (i.hasNext()) { path.lineTo(counter, _screen.y-i.next()); counter += _columnWidth; } path.lineTo(_screen.x, _screen.y); path.lineTo(0, _screen.y); canvas.drawPath(path2, _paint); } } The problem is that the game is too 'fast', so I tried with pausing thread with Thread.sleep(50); in run() method of my game thread but then it looks too torn. Well, is there any way to slow down drawing of my terrain ?

  • SQL Not Exists in this Query - is it possible

    This is my script - it simply looks for the image file associated to a person record. Now the error will display if there is NO .jpg evident when the query runs. • Streaming audio not working in Android

    - by user320293
    Hi, I'm sure that this question has been asked before but I've been unable to find a solid answer. I'm trying to load a streaming audio from a server. Its a audio/aac file http://3363.live.streamtheworld.com:80/CHUMFMAACCMP3 The code that I'm using is private void playAudio(String str) { try { final String path = str; if (path == null || path.length() == 0) { Toast.makeText(RadioPlayer.this, "File URL/path is empty", Toast.LENGTH_LONG).show(); } else { // If the path has not changed, just start the media player MediaPlayer mp = new MediaPlayer(); mp.setAudioStreamType(AudioManager.STREAM_MUSIC); try{ mp.setDataSource(getDataSource(path)); mp.prepareAsync(); mp.start(); }catch(IOException e){ Log.i("ONCREATE IOEXCEPTION", e.getMessage()); }catch(Exception e){ Log.i("ONCREATE EXCEPTION", e.getMessage()); } } } catch (Exception e) { Log.e("RPLAYER EXCEPTION", "error: " + e.getMessage(), e); } } private String getDataSource(String path) throws IOException { if (!URLUtil.isNetworkUrl(path)) { return path; } else { URL url = new URL(path); URLConnection cn = url.openConnection(); cn.connect(); InputStream stream = cn.getInputStream(); if (stream == null) throw new RuntimeException("stream is null"); File temp = File.createTempFile("mediaplayertmp", ".dat"); temp.deleteOnExit(); String tempPath = temp.getAbsolutePath(); FileOutputStream out = new FileOutputStream(temp); byte buf[] = new byte[128]; do { int numread = stream.read(buf); if (numread <= 0) break; out.write(buf, 0, numread); } while (true); try { stream.close(); } catch (IOException ex) { Log.e("RPLAYER IOEXCEPTION", "error: " + ex.getMessage(), ex); } return tempPath; } } Is this the correct implementation? I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. Can someone please please help me on this.

  • Header Guard Issues - Getting Swallowed Alive

    - by gjnave
    I'm totally at wit's end: I can't figure out how my dependency issues. I've read countless posts and blogs and reworked my code so many times that I can't even remember what almost worked and what didnt. I continually get not only redefinition errors, but class not defined errors. I rework the header guards and remove some errors simply to find others. I somehow got everything down to one error but then even that got broke while trying to fix it. • Passing parameter to base class constructor or using instance variable?

    - by deamon
    All classes derived from a certain base class have to define an attribute called "path". In the sense of duck typing I could rely upon definition in the subclasses: class Base: pass # no "path" variable here def Sub(Base): def __init__(self): self.path = "something/" Another possiblity would be to use the base class constructor: class Base: def __init__(self, path): self.path = path def Sub(Base): def __init__(self): super().__init__("something/") What would you prefer and why? Is there a better way?

  • Can you do this with Hudson?

    - by damian
    I want to create a hudson job, that takes an id as a parameter. And use that id to calculate the svn-repo path. Where I work you have a svn path for every issue that you resolve. And then all the issues are joined into a single svn-path. What I want to do is to run static code analysis on the partial issues. So I think maybe having an Ant build.xml that I use for every issue, then, parametrize the job with the issue id. I have tried to achieve that but the svn path doesn't replace the parameter. I have tried with #issueId, %issueId%, ${issueId} and ${env.issueId} without success. Jump error like: Location 'http://svn-path:8181/svn/devSet/issues/${env.chuid}' does not exist Checking out a fresh workspace because C:\Documents and Settings\dnoseda\.hudson\jobs\test\workspace\${env.chuid} doesn't exist Checking out http://svn-path:8181/svn/devSet/issues/${env.chuid} ERROR: Failed to check out http://svn-path:8181/svn/devSet/issues/${env.chuid} org.tmatesoft.svn.core.SVNException: svn: '/svn/!svn/bc/46190/devSet/issues/$%7Benv.chuid%7D' path not found: 404 Not Found (http://svn-path:8181) at org.tmatesoft.svn.core.internal.wc.SVNErrorManager.error(SVNErrorManager.java:64) at org.tmatesoft.svn.core.internal.wc.SVNErrorManager.error(SVNErrorManager.java:51) at I am think that I can not do what I want. Do you know how I can setup the correct configuration to achieve this matter? Thanks for any help. Edit The section of the configurate job that I want to put this parameter is this: <scm class="hudson.scm.SubversionSCM"> <locations> <hudson.scm.SubversionSCM_-ModuleLocation> <remote>http://svn-path:8181/svn/devSet/issues/${env.issueid}</remote> </hudson.scm.SubversionSCM_-ModuleLocation> </locations>

  • How to get a checkout-able revision info from subversion?

    - by zhongshu
    I want to check a svn url and to get the latest revision, then checkout it, I don't want to use HEAD because I will compare the latest revision to others. so I use "svn info" to get the "Last Changed Rev" for the url like this: D:\Project>svn info svn://.../branches/.../path Path: ... URL: svn://.../branches/.../path Repository Root: svn://yt-file-srv/ Repository UUID: 9ed5ffd7-7585-a14e-96b2-4aab7121bb21 Revision: 2400 Node Kind: directory Last Changed Author: xxx Last Changed Rev: 2396 Last Changed Date: 2010-03-12 09:31:52 +0800 but, I found the 2396 revision is not checkout-able, because this path is in a branch copied from trunk, and the 2396 is the revision modified in the trunk. so when I use svn checkout -r 2396, I will get a workcopy for the path in the trunk, then I can not do checkin for the branch. D:\Project>svn checkout svn://.../branches/.../path -r 2396 workcopy ..... ..... D:\Project>svn info workcopy Path: workcopy URL: svn://.../trunk/.../path Repository Root: svn://yt-file-srv/ Repository UUID: 9ed5ffd7-7585-a14e-96b2-4aab7121bb21 Revision: 2396 Node Kind: directory Schedule: normal Last Changed Author: xxx Last Changed Rev: 2396 Last Changed Date: 2010-03-12 09:31:52 +0800 So, my question is how to get a checkout-able revision for the branch path, for this example, I want to get 2397 (because 2397 is the revision which copy occur). And I know "svn log" can get the info, but "svn log" output maybe very long and parse it will be difficult than "svn info". I just want know which revision is the latest checkout-able revision for the path.

  • Implementations details of drag and drop of file path in cocoa.

    - by foo
    Hi, I'm trying to get a part of my window to react to drag and drop. In this case to copy the file path to the file being dropped on the view. I have looked over some documentation but I still have some problems to see exactly where I should implement my methods for drag and drop. I have seen some examples but almost all of them assumes that I want to drop an image on the view. I'm pretty new to cocoa and Xcode so, I have some problems with seeing the exact relation between interface builder and the generated code. I have created a subclass to NSView, called drop zone like this: #import <Cocoa/Cocoa.h> @interface dropZone : NSView { } @end I then use an NSRect to color it grey like this: #import "dropZone.h" @implementation dropZone - (void)drawRect:(NSRect)rect { NSRect bounds = [self bounds]; [[NSColor grayColor] set]; [NSBezierPath fillRect:bounds]; } @end I then drag this class to my window in interface builder. But I will need to implement the registerForDraggingTypes method, but where? I have also seen a convenience method in the Apple docs for file paths like this: dragFile:fromRect:slideBack:event: that might work.
