  • custom control in DataGridTemplateColumn

    Hi all, I'd like to add my custom control into a template column of data grid. The custom control is very similar to a text box, but has an icon in it. The user can click the icon, and selects an item from a prompted window, then the selected item will be filled into the text box. My problem is when the text box is filled, after I click the second column, the text will disappear. If I replace the custom control with a simple text box, the result is the same.   • What are the keyboard shortcuts to operate a Mac slider control

    In the Safari RSS screen, there is a slider (or range) control to change an article's summary length. By pressing TAB a couple of times, it is possible to navigate to this control, without using the mouse. Is it also possible, to slide the slider with the keyboard? Thus sliding the knob to the right and left? The volume slider in iTunes can be operated by the arrow-keys, but in Safari's RSS window, these are used to scroll the text if there are any scrollbars... Note: in System Preferences, Keyboard (OS X 10.6), Keyboard Shortcuts, I have set Full Keyboard Access to All controls. Otherwise, the TAB key only navigates between text boxes and lists.

    I have a table with a bunch of cells. (No way! Amazing! :P) Some of the cells have a small div that when you put your mouse over, it gets bigger so you can read all the text. This works well and all. However, since html elements that come later in the document have a higher z-index, when the div gets bigger it is underneath the other divs in the other cells.   • Windows 8.1 backlight turns off

    This is one of the strangest things I have ever seen. I have an HP Elitebook 8460p and recently updated my Windows 8 to Windows 8.1. Now when I have certain windows open and focused (it's always different, sometimes it's chrome, sometimes it's the control-panel and so on, there is no clear pattern) the backlight of the screen is completely turned off - when I take a torch and point it to the screen or hold it to a bright-light source I can see there is still a picture there you can even work (or better said you cuold if you'd see anything). When I tab to certain other windows the screen goes back to normal back light - I can then tab back to the other window and the backlight will be turned off again. I have no idea what's going on and also no idea what information you need. The display-adapter I got is the AMD Radeon HD 6400M - I tried updating to the newest driver but that didn't help.   • Realtek "Microphone Effects" no longer working

    I have a mic plugged into my computer, and I was able to use the "microphone effects" tab here to enable/disable noise suppression and acoustic echo cancellation. Noise suppression off and acoustic echo cancellation on were the most recent settings I had on before the problem occurred. I disabled my mic in the windows 7 "recording devices" tab, then re-enabled it. When it came back, these options were grayed out, and remained so even after a reboot. I am not sure why this is or how to fix it, all other options are still the same (Settings are identical to when it was working). Any ideas whats wrong or how to fix it? edit: can't post image due to being new.

    Is it possible to resize an openGL window (or device context) created with wglCreateContext without disabling it? If so how? Right now I have a function which resizes the DC but the only way I could get it to work was to call DisableOpenGL and then re-enable. This causes any textures and other state changes to be lost. I would like to do this without the disable so that I do not have to go through the tedious task of recreating the openGL DC state.   • PostgreSQL: Why does this simple query not use the index?

    I have a table t with a column c, which is an int and has a btree index on it. Why does the following query not utilize this index? explain select c from t group by c; The result I get is: HashAggregate (cost=1005817.55..1005817.71 rows=16 width=4) -> Seq Scan on t (cost=0.00..946059.84 rows=23903084 width=4) My understanding of indexes is limited, but I thought such queries were the purpose of indexes.

    I am trying to load the .arx file for a particular program, once the User clicks on the customized tab in AUtoCAD. Requirements are: 1.When User Clicks on the customized tab, it loads the .arx 2.Runs the program 3.Unload the .arx file. I achieved Point 2 by acedRegCmds-(); I tried getting point 1 and 3 working, by using acedArxLoad(_T("C:\Example\Example.arx")); command, but it did not work. Any help with the same would be highly appreciated Also just curious, should loading multiple commands in LISP work for this?

  • WPF - Two way binding use a user control...binding to object, not an element!

    I created an object with a simple property with a default value. I then created a user control that has a text box in it. I set the datacontext of the user control to the object. The text box correctly shows the properties default value but I can't seem to update the property value when the user changes the text box value. I created a simple project to illustrate my code.     I have installed Galera Cluster on 3 cluster + 1 management. I wanted to make it like this, Server1: Home (www.domain.com) Server2: For BBpress/Forum (Forum Tab Menu will forward to forum.domain.com) Server3: BuddyPress Activity (Social Tab Menu will forward to social.domain.com) The purpose I am doing this is to distribute my resource and load balancing each other at same time. However, I have difficulty to setup Apache Load-Balancing/mod_proxy/clustering or any suitable to have high availability WordPress. Any best suggestion/solution to make high availability WordPress? Or how to? And another question is I tried to copy whole WordPress files & folders to Server2 connecting to local database (same data inside since it is already on Galera Cluster) but the page blank.   • How to replicate this button in CSS

    I am trying to create a CSS theme switcher button like below. The top image shows what I have so far and the bottom image shows what I am trying to create. I am not the best at this stuff I am more of a back-end coder. I could really use some help.   • Is it possible to resize text to fit a fixed size div?

    This seems like a pretty natural use case to me, though I haven't been able to find anything on it: Say I have a fixed-width div that is dynamically populated with some number. What's the best way to ensure that numbers with more digits take smaller font sizes such that they fit nicely into that fixed width? Is there some CSS property for this, or do I have to resort to Javascript hackage?

    My home Windows XP Pro SP3 machine is DHCP client receiving configurations from ISP. Trying to access in WindowsExplorer -My Network Places - Microsoft Windows Network shows Workgroup with a delay of 3 min and then popups messagebox: Microsoft Windows Network Workgroup is not accessible. You might not have permission to use this network resource. Contact the administrator of this server to find out if you have access permissions.The list of servers for this workgroup is not currently available OK I am logged-in as local machine Administrator. The internet is accessible (I am writing this post through it) The Firewall is disabled The "Computer Bowser" and all networking services, I could find, are running Control Panel -- Network Connections -- Properties (of connection) --- Internet Protocol (TCP/IP), btn Properties --- --- tab General, btn "Advanced..." -- tab WINS-- rbtn "Enable NetBIOS over TCP/IP" checked Why cannot I access my own PC (and shares on it) through My Network Places What is the possible problem? How to daignose the problem?
