  I'm making an android app and since I've just started I want to try get the most organised code/resources. In my strings.xml file so far I have this: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?> <resources> <string name="app_name">GameController</string> <string name="stop">Stop</string> <string name="start">Start</string> <string name="preferences">Preferences</string> <string name="back">Back</string> </resources> All of the strings except app_name are used in an options menu. Each of the created divs need to have a unique ID so I can access them specifically (at the moment, all my divs have the same ID specified in html so whenever I try to access a specific div it just finds the first one). • Is it possible to use an incremental value within a variable name whilst declaring it within a loop?

  Hi, I'm creating function which will read different XML files each time that will contain different amounts of the same nodes. I have already created a loop which stores the ID of each node into an array, and now I want to create variables for each array member which store attributes of the node with each ID. Because the number of nodes will be different for every XML document my function reads, I cannot manually assign variables for the attributes of each node ID not knowing how many to assign, so I have created a loop which runs specific to the number of items I have stored in the array. Inside this loop I was hoping to have something like: for (i=0; i<array.length; i++) { var ID + i + width = exampleheight var ID + i + height = exampleheight } I know this doesn't work, but was trying to outline what I am looking to find out. Is it possible to use some kind of variable or random number when declaring a variable?

I have a form that allows for dynamic duplication of the form fields. The form allows for file uploads and text input, so the data is sent in both $_POST and $_FILES arrays. The the initial set of inputs look like this: <input type="text" name="primary[1][text]" /> <input type="file" name="primary[1][file]" /> <input type="text" class="a" name="secondary[1][text][]" /> <input type="file" name="secondary[1][file][]" /> When duplicated the fields are incremented, they look like this: <input type="text" name="primary[2][text]" /> <input type="file" name="primary[2][file]" /> <input type="text" class="a" name="secondary[2][text][]" /> <input type="file" name="secondary[2][file][]" /> To complicate matters, the "secondary" form fields can also be duplicated (thus the [] at the end of the secondary name array. How can I parse the posted $_FILES array? I have tried something like this: foreach ($_FILES['question'] as $f_num) { echo $f['file']['name']; } but I get an "Undefined index: file... " error.

• Possible to not use ID field but another column name? in Lift

  I am connected to a oracle database from a scala/lift webapp. I have been able to successfully pull information from the database as I wished but am having one issue. For each table I want to access I am required to add an ID field so that the app will work with the trait IdPK. What mapper class or trait can I use to override this? I have been trying to find one but been unable to locate it. Figured people have not always had an ID field on every table they make that is just called ID... class DN_REC extends LongKeyedMapper[DN_REC] with IdPK { def getSingleton = DN_REC object dn_rec_id extends MappedInt(this){ } This is what I am talking about.
