  • Adding file names to an array list in java

    Hi I am currently needing to load the contents of a folders filenames to an arraylist I have but I am unsure as how to do this. To put it into perspective I have a folder with One.txt, Two.txt, Three.txt etc. I want to be able to load this list into an arraylist so that if I was to check the arraylist its contents would be : arraylist[0] = One arraylist[1] = Two arraylist[3] = Three If anyone could give me any insight into this it would be much appreciated.

    Hello Im trying to make a chat program like skype in c# and having some trouble gavring/updating the messages, what i tryed was foreach value in a database add it into listbox1, and i did a timer every second do that.. but it kept adding it again every second repeating like it was on loop So then i sat down and thought how can i do this, so i come up with webclient download a list of messages by php and foreach line in the webclient add it to a listbox! is there any way of doing this?

  • Post data to MVC3 controller without pagerefresh

    I have this script that basically has 4 select boxes, what I want is that for the 2 top select boxes, he submits the optionvalue that is selected to an action (which can be found at "ProductKoppeling/ProductKoppelingPartial"), I want to let him submit this data when I click on an option but without page refresh. I tried JSON and I tried Ajax, but I didn't get it working..   • Is a display list best for this? (OpenGL)

    I'm rendering 2D polygons with the GLUTesselator the first time, then they are stored in a display list for subsequent use. I think VBO's might be faster, but since I can't access the stuff that the tesselator outputs, and since it uses mixes of gl_triangle, quad, strip etc, i'm not sure how I could do this, even though I would like to use VBO's once the GLUTesselator is done with them for optimal performance.     How do you dynamically resize buttons in a horizontal list to fit the text size? I am pulling in my button text from xml and it seems that it resizes all the buttons to the first items text. I am wrapping my button inside a canvas, not setting widths for either of them. Basically I need all the buttons to resize to their text, and have them all spaced evenly as well.

I realize that this won't actually change the content of the video, but it's necessary for the video to be verified by an external tool. Does anyone know of a tool that will allow me to do this? The viewmodel contains a list objects used to create an html table with checkboxes. Is there a way to access the selected "rows" through the viewmodel in my controller?
