    I'm trying to write a php function that gets all the basic food data(this part works fine in my code) Then grabs all the ingredients related to the ids of the selected items from the query before. Anyone have have any idea why my second array keeps coming back as false?     Hi All, I have a html table and I am trying to have it span the entire page height. For some reason I am not able to get this to work. I have set the html, body and table height to be 100%, but the table still does not occupy the entire 100%. Heres the code.     Hi folks! I'm trying to use temp tables to speed up my MySQL 4.1.22-standard database and what seems like a simple operation is causing me all kinds of issues. My code is below.... CREATE TEMPORARY TABLE nonDerivativeTransaction_temp (accession_number varchar(30), transactionDateValue date)) TYPE=HEAP; INSERT INTO nonDerivativeTransaction_temp VALUES( SELECT accession_number, transactionDateValue FROM nonDerivativeTransaction WHERE transactionDateValue = "2010-06-15"); SELECT * FROM nonDerivativeTransaction_temp; The original table (nonDerivativeTransaction) has two fields, accession_number (varchar(30)) and transactionDateValue (date). Apparently I am getting an issue with the first two statements but I can't seem to nail down what it is. Any help would be appreciated. Amy D.

    I have a table (let's call it log) with a few millions of records. Among the fields I have Id, Count, FirstHit, LastHit. Id - The record id Count - number of times this Id has been reported FirstHit - earliest timestamp with which this Id was reported LastHit - latest timestamp with which this Id was reported This table only has one record for any given Id Everyday I get into another table (let's call it feed) with around half a million records with these fields among many others: Id Timestamp - Entry date and time. This table can have many records for the same id What I want to do is to update log in the following way. Count - log count value, plus the count() of records for that id found in feed FirstHit - the earliest of the current value in log or the minimum value in feed for that id LastHit - the latest of the current value in log or the maximum value in feed for that id. It should be noticed that many of the ids in feed are already in log. The simple thing that worked is to create a temporary table and insert into it the union of both as in Select Id, Min(Timestamp) As FirstHit, MAX(Timestamp) as LastHit, Count(*) as Count FROM feed GROUP BY Id UNION ALL Select Id, FirstHit,LastHit,Count FROM log; From that temporary table I do a select that aggregates Min(firsthit), max(lasthit) and sum(Count) Select Id, Min(FirstHit),Max(LastHit),Sum(Count) FROM @temp GROUP BY Id; and that gives me the end result. I could then delete everything from log and replace it with everything with temp, or craft an update for the common records and insert the new ones. However, I think both are highly inefficient. Is there a more efficient way of doing this. Perhaps doing the update in place in the log table?

    I've got a very large MySQL table with about 150,000 rows of data. Currently, when I try and run SELECT * FROM table WHERE id = '1'; the code runs fine as the ID field is the primary index. However, recently for a development in the project, I have to search the database by another field. For example SELECT * FROM table WHERE product_id = '1'; This field was not previously indexed, however, I've added it as an index but when I try to run the above query, the results is very slow. An EXPLAIN query reveals that there is no index for the product_id field when I've already added one and as a result the query takes any where from 20 minutes to 30 minutes to return a single row.   • Jquery UI dialog does not disappear

    I am using jquery-ui tabs and dialog functionality. Each tab has a button on the page which opens a dialog. This works for one of the tabs. However if I go the second tab, the button does not work there. When I come back to the first tab, the dialog does show up but the problem is I notice as I make switches back and forth to the first tab, it keeps on inserting new div's while the old div's have display:none set on them. I am doing this using JSP. I want to implement the search functionality in the app. I am using NSRegularExpression class for searching. Please consider the following html code: <temp> I am temp in tempo with temptation </temp> Say for example in the above html code I just want to search for the word temp. Now in above code temp is appearing 5 times - <temp> </temp> temp tempo temptation. I am looking for a regular expression where I can only extract the whole word "temp". I don't want to consider the word temp in the html tags <temp> </temp>. I also don't want the word tempo and temptation to be considered. Thanks in advance

    I am currently running this query inside MySQL to check if the specified values exists within the table associated with them. SELECT COUNT(artist.artist_id), COUNT(album.album_id), COUNT(tracks.track_id) FROM artist, album, tracks WHERE artist.artist_id = 320295 OR album.album_id = 1234 OR tracks.track_id = 809 The result I get from running this query is all 1, meaning that all the statements after the WHERE clause is true. To further check the query's reliability, I changed the tracks.track_ = 809 to 802, which I know does not match. However the results displayed are still all 1, meaning that they were all successfully matched even when I purposefully inserted a value which would not have matched. How do I get it to show 1 for a match and 0 for no matches within the same query? EDIT: I have inserted an image of the query running

    Like in Oracle VARCHAR( 60 CHAR ) I would like to specify a varchar field with variable length depending on the inserted characters. for example: create table X (text varchar(3)) insert into X (text) VALUES ('äöü') Should be possible (with UTF8 as the default charset of the database). On DB2 I got this Error: DB2 SQL Error: SQLCODE=-302, SQLSTATE=22001 (Character data, right truncation occurred; for example, an update or insert value is a string that is too long for the column, or a datetime value cannot be assigned to a host variable, because it is too small.) I'm looking for solutions for DB2, MsSql, MySql, Hypersonic.

  • javascript unable to locate a form using the ID tag

    Here's my problem: I'm trying to set up a simple mobile contact form with a captcha built in. The page I'm working on can be found here: http://m.lancasterpainting.com/contact.php I'm using the following php contact form: http://www.html-form-guide.com/contact-form/php-email-contact-form.html I want to first say that I'm not the only one to run into this problem. After googling the issue, I've found multiple people struggling with this, but no-one seems to have an answer. Now for the problem... As you can see if you visit the page, each time the page is accessed, an error appears that says "Error: couldnot get Form object contact_form". I cannot--for the life of me--figure out why the javascript can't find the form I pass it. I call the function that generates this error at the top of the page: var frmvalidator = new Validator("contact_form"); The form I'm referencing is as follows in the HTML code: <div data-role="page" data-theme="e" id="contact_form" name="contact_form" data-position="inline"> ... And the function that is called that generates the error can be found in an external .js file here: http://m.lancasterpainting.com/scripts/gen_validatorv31.js Is there something that I am simply not seeing?
