  • Phonegap Screenshot plugin in Cordova 2.0.0

    I have set up the screenshot plugin from github, located here: https://github.com/phonegap/phonegap-plugins/tree/master/Android/Screenshot I set it up as instructed and with 1.8.1 of cordova. It worked and the screenshot was saved to the phone. However it fails with cordova 2.0.0. However when I try to use the screenshot plugin with cordova 2.0.0 I receive these errors: ERROR: org.json.JSONException: Value undefined of type java.lang.String cannot be converted to JSONArray.   • Compile OpenSSL from source using Xilinx EDK

    I want to use openSSL functions in my xilinx C++ project. So i downloaded the source and tried to compile using the makefile. But unfortunately the linux box I was provided did not contained the required software (perl5, make, etc) to compile the source using makefile. So as the second option i tried to compile the source as a shared library. So i made a new project using existing openSSL source. But all the attempts were failed since it gave lots of errors including missing headers, unknown defines etc. If someone knows how to compile openssl as a shared library using Xilinx toolchains please help me. It would be really helpful if someone can provide the complete project which can be opened using Xilinx EDK. If better alternative exists to use openssl with xilinx toolchains please explain that also. Thanks in advance....

  • GPS on emulator doesn't get the geo fix - Android

    Hi I'm developing an application for the android OS, I'm just starting, but I can't get the GPS on the emulator to work. I've read on the internet that you need to send a geo fix to the emulator in order to enable the gps locationProvider. To start things off: In a rails application, what is the "proper" way to respond with JSON to REST-ful controller methods? (create, update, destroy) Is there an idiomatic way to indicate success/failure through a JSON response? Additional information: I'm currently working with rails 3.0.beta2 I would like to avoid using a plugin or gem to do the grunt work, my goal is to gain a better understanding of how to make a rails 3 API. For example i want to save each parameter into a String array. So i'd like: contentScriptType="text/ecmascript" width="1024" zoomAndPan="magnify" contentStyleType="text/css" viewBox="0 0 1024 768" height="768" etc etc to be saved into a string array, is there anyway to do this using the split method, or can anybody suggest an easier, more efficient way to do this?

I've come across a problem. Using this input file (arguments to) proguard: -injars bin;lib/scala-library.jar(!META-INF/MANIFEST.MF,!library.properties) -outjar lib/scandroid.jar -libraryjars lib/android.jar -dontwarn -dontoptimize -dontobfuscate -dontskipnonpubliclibraryclasses -dontskipnonpubliclibraryclassmembers -keepattributes Exceptions,InnerClasses,Signature,Deprecated, SourceFile,LineNumberTable,*Annotation*,EnclosingMethod -keep public class org.scala.jeb.** { public protected *; } -keep public class org.xml.sax.EntityResolver { public protected *; } Proguard successfully builds scandroid.jar, however it appears to have included the generated R classes that the android resource builder generates and compiles. In this case, they are located in bin/org/jeb/R*.class. This is not what I want. The android dalvik converter cannot build because it thinks there is a duplicate of the R class (it's in scandroid and also the R*.class files). How can I modify the above proguard arguments to exclude the R*.class files from the scandroid.jar so the dalvik converter is happy? Edit: I should note that I tried adding ;bin/org/jeb/R.class;etc... to the -libraryjars argument, and that only seemed to cause it to complain about duplicate classes, and in addition proguard decided to exclude my scala class files too.

But the current problem is that the old messenger API that I had no longer works. And the current API i can only find information about addins (complicated for the end user to set up unless I make an installer), Or contact information. I would like my bot to be stand-alone (no messenger required) and have it log in it self, But I can not find information on the login process anywhere. Any ideas?

So my problem is that I have some methods like GetJsonResponse() which return the above JSON and SaveTempFile() which saves that JSON response to a temporary file for later use. I not sure if I should create a class for them, or what namespace to put them under. Right now my current namespace hierarchy is like so: StackOverflow.Api.Json. So how should I organize these methods/classes/namespaces?

    Hi, I'm about to implement an RESTful API to our website (based on WCF data services, but that probably does not matter). All data offered via this API belongs to certain users of my server, so I need to make sure only those users have access to my resources. For this reason, all requests have to be performed with a login/password combination as part of the request. What's the recommended approach for preventing brute force attacks in this scenario? I was thinking of logging failed requests denied due to wrong credentials and ignoring requests originating from the same IP after a certain threshold of failed requests has been exceeded.     I have just added the SherlockActionBar library to my android project. After some small changes (FragmentActivity - SherlockFragmentActivity, getActionBar() - getSupportActionBar(), imports) it all compiled nicely.
