  • Spring - PropertiesPlaceholderConfigurer not finding properties file

    Not sure what could be wrong. I had an app that worked all along with this <context:property-placeholder location="classpath:my.properties"/> No problems finding the properties file and hooking things up. Now, I needed to encrypt some fields in the properties file. So I ended up writing the custom PropertiesPlaceholderConfigurer and tried to wire it up like this <bean class="com.mycompany.myapp.PropertiesPlaceholderConfigurer"> <property name="location" value="classpath:my.propeties"/> </bean> With this configuration, Spring complains that it cannot find the properties file. java.io.FileNotFoundException: class path resource [my.propeties] cannot be opened because it does not exist What in addition should be done?   • Junit (3.8.1) testing that an exception is thrown (works in unit test, fails when added to a testSui

    I'm trying to test that I'm throwing an exception when appropriate. In my test class I have a method similar to the following: public void testParseException() { try { ClientEntitySingleton.getInstance(); fail("should have thrown exception."); } catch (RuntimeException re) { assertEquals( "<exception message>", re.getMessage()); } } This works fine (green bar) whenever I run that single unitTest class. However, when I add that test to a testSuite, I get a red bar Unit test failure reported on the exception. One more thing... it works in the testSuite, if it's the first test in the suite. Actually, I'm doing two of these tests and just figured out that if I make them the first two tests in the suite, all is good, but I get this failure if a "regular" test precedes it. So I have a work-around, but no real answer. Any ideas?     I am building an app on android and running into an error and while searching on net, came across your posting on this and changed the eclipse.ini to increase Xms and Xmx params but still this error does not go away.     I have a UIViewController and I'm noticing that I've done something to where the didReceiveMemoryWarning method is getting called every time I run it on an actual device. I've run the project with Run Run With Performance Tool Object Allocations (and Leaks also). There are no leaks but I have no idea how to read or understand the "Object Allocations" data that is displayed. So ... How do I read this information and what is/are the best ways to figure out (and resolve) why this is happening? Thanks

    Is it possible to run PHP Zend test cases (those that extend Zend_Test_PHPUnit_ControllerTestCase, etc.) through Eclipse PDT? I would like to be able to run them in a similar fashion as you run JUnit tests in Eclipse, by right-clicking the test file and selecting "Run as a JUnit test case."     All tests should be run with jUnit3, if i run a non-configured Test, it tries to use the default-TestRunner (jUnit4). So, i have to go into the run/debug configuration, change the TestRunner to "jUnit3" and run it again. On EVERY Test. This just disturbs the workflow. So, is there an option to REMOVE jUnit4 as possible TestRunner, or even better, change the Default TestRunner to jUnit3 ? Thanks in Advance,

    I can't run Content Shell on my system (Windows 7 x64): When i run --dump-render-tree with the stable release content_shell.exe crashes with message: [XXXX:XXXX:0522/XXXXXX:XXXXXXXXX:FATAL:content_main_runner.cc(735)] Check failed: base::i18n::InitializeICU() were X - some number. And i can't run dev build because it misses mojo_system.dll. Is there any way to fix it? Does it work on Linux or MacOS? If so i probably can run it in VM For the time being.

    Outside of the actual SWT listener, is there any way to ignore a listener via code? For example, I have a java program that implements SWT Text Widgets, and the widgets have: SWT.Verify listeners to filter out unwanted text input. ModifyListeners to wait for the correct number of valid input characters and automatically set focus (using setFocus())to the next valid field, skipping the other text widgets in the tab order. focusLost(FocusEvent) FocusListeners that wait for the loss of focus from the text widget to perform additional input verification and execute an SQL query based on the user input. The issue I run into is clearing the text widgets. One of the widgets has the format "####-##" (Four Numbers, a hyphen, then two numbers) and I have implemented this listener, which is a modified version of SWT Snippet Snippet179. The initial text for this text widget is " - " to provide visual feedback to the user as to the expected format.   • .net app won't run. When compiling on dest machine (same sources) it does work. Why?

    I have a service which needs to be deployed on a clients machine. The destination machine is 64bit. My dev machine is also 64 bit. The app is really simple, listens on a port and does some db things. It targets .net 3.5 When I deploy the Anycpu, the X64 or the X86 version, the thing won't install on the clients machine. I checked dependencywalker and it lists: devmgr.dll ieshims.dll wer.dll anyhow...I install visual studio 2008 on the clients machine... check out all the sources. I don't change a thing and compile. Copy the exe over to it's dest locations...and what do you know..it works. Dependencywalker still lists the same dependency problems. How can it be that the act of compiling it on this machine gives me a different exe?

  • Hibernate without primary keys generated by db?

    I'm building a data warehouse and want to use InfiniDB as the storage engine. However, it doesn't allow primary keys or foreign key constraints (or any constraints for that matter). Hibernate complains "The database returned no natively generated identity value" when I perform an insert. Each table is relational, and contains a unique integer column that was previously used as the primary key - I want to keep that, but just not have the constraint in the db that the column is the primary key. I'm assuming the problem is that Hibernate expects the db to return a generated key.     I am following this tutorial, I'm using netbeans 6.5.1 http://www.netbeans.org/kb/docs/java/gui-db-custom.html When I get to the part where I create the "new entity class from database", which is in the "Customizing the Master/Detail View" section of the tutoiral. I can't ever compile because I get this error in the task list (and I get a runtime error when I run)... Atleast I think these two are related.
