• Jquery - Forms Plugin, Dynamic Tabs

  Hi guys, I am using JQuery UI tabs. When i create a tab using the "$("#" + target).tabs('add', url, title);" method it opens a tab and calls an ajax form correctly.. Now the problem exists when i open an identical tab containing the identical form. When the form is submitted using the forms plugin, things mess up. I am presuming this is due to multiple areas having the same div id and so the form plugin does not know which to update.. Is there a work around for this at all ??

• Multiple remote_form_for on the same page causes duplicate ids

  I've got a rails app that displays a list of items called modules. I'm iterating over these, rendering a partial for each one that includes a remote_form_for call. This all works, but fails HTML validation because my form text fields all have the same id. Is there a :prefix option on the form (or something else) I can use to get around this?   I've got a simple Employee class that I'm trying to serialize to an XDocument and then use XSLT to transform the document to a page that displays both the properties (Name and ID) from the Employee class, and an html form with 2 radio buttons (Approve and Reject) and a submit button. • How to get MySQL database to appear on index.php

  Hi, I have a submission form on my website (index.php) and I have the data(user submissions) being stored into a MySQL database. Right now, I have the user submitting a post and then the page directs them to an update.php which shows what they inputed. However, I want all of the data in the database in MySQL to be shown on the index.php. It's a lot like a comment system. User submits a post... and sees their post above the other submitted posts all on the same page. I think I'm missing AJAX... ? • Choosing connectionstring in VB.NET application at startup

  I have a VB.NET application with a connection to an SQL Server 2003. On the server there are two databases, MyDatabase and MyDatabase_Test. What I would like to do is to show a dialog when the program starts that let's the user choose which database to use. My idea is to create a new form as the starup form that sets this property and then launches the main form. Currently the connectionstring is specified in the application config file. Best would be if I can specify two different connection strings in that file to choose from, but for now it is also acceptable with other solutions like hardcoding the two connectionstrings into the startup form.

  Is it possible to set cookies on response when the return render type is set as json? I can set cookies on the response object when returning with a standard render type and later on, I'm able to get it back on the subsequent request. However, if I were to set the cookies while rendering the return values as json, I can't seem to get back the cookie on the next request object. What's happening here? These two actions work as expected with 'basicForm' performing a regular form post to the action, 'withRegularSubmit', when the user clicks submit. // first action set the cookie and second action yields the originally set cookie def regularAction = { // using cookie plugin response.setCookie("username-regular", "regularCookieUser123",604800); return render(view: "basicForm"); } // called by form post def withRegularSubmit = { def myCookie = request.getCookie("username-regular"); // returns the value 'regularCookieUser123' return render(view: "resultView"); } When I switch to setting the cookie just before returning from the response with json, I don't get the cookie back with the post. • How Do I Prevent Rails From Treating Edit Fields_For Differently From New Fields_For

  I am using rails3 beta3 and couchdb via couchrest. I am not using active record. I want to add multiple "Sections" to a "Guide" and add and remove sections dynamically via a little javascript. I have looked at all the screencasts by Ryan Bates and they have helped immensely. The only difference is that I want to save all the sections as an array of sections instead of individual sections. Basically like this: "sections" => [{"title" => "Foo1", "content" => "Bar1"}, {"title" => "Foo2", "content" => "Bar2"}] So, basically I need the params hash to look like that when the form is submitted. When I create my form I am doing the following: <%= form_for @guide, :url => { :action => "create" } do |f| %> <%= render :partial => 'section', :collection => @guide.sections %> <%= f.submit "Save" %> <% end %> And my section partial looks like this: <%= fields_for "sections[]", section do |guide_section_form| %> <%= guide_section_form.text_field :section_title %> <%= guide_section_form.text_area :content, :rows => 3 %> <% end %> Ok, so when I create the guide with sections, it is working perfectly as I would like. The params hash is giving me a sections array just like I would want. The problem comes when I want edit guide/sections and save them again because rails is inserting the id of the guide in the id and name of each form field, which is screwing up the params hash on form submission. What will be the best practice to change this function in such a way that it can validate document forms and iframe from simeltaniously. Thanks

• How do I chain forms in Access? (pass values between them)

  Hello, I'm using Access 2007 and have a data model like this... Passenger - Bookings - Destinations So 1 Passenger can have Many Bookings, each for 1 Destinations. My problem... I can create a form to allow the entry of Passenger details, but I then want to add a NEXT button to take me to a form to enter the details of the Booking (i.e. just a simple drop list of the Destinations). I've added the NEXT button and it has the events of RunCommand SaveRecord OpenForm Destination_form BUT, I cant work out how to pass accross to the new form the primary key of the passenger that was just entered (PassengerID). I'd really like to have just one form, and that allow the entry of the Passenger details and the selection of a Destination, that then creates the entries in the 2 Tables (Passenger & Bookings), but I can't get that to work either.   I'm trying to follow this documentation on Symfony : http://symfony.com/doc/current/book/forms.html ok so here is my thing, I've externalised my form and created a specific form class for handling the process and being able to reuse it. So what happen when I submit the form, whatever the info are okay or not for my class, I get this fatal Error : Fatal error: Call to a member function setAttribute() on a non-object in C:\Program Files (x86)\wamp\www\QNetworks\vendor\symfony\src\Symfony\Component\Form\Extension\Core\DataTransformer\NumberToLocalizedStringTransformer.php on line 130 Call Stack I'm running with php 5.3.9 and my intl extension is installed and activated BUT when I run the app/check.php command I see : [[WARNING]] Checking that the intl extension is available: FAILED * Install and enable the intl extension (used for validators) * So I don't understand what the problem with this extension. Should I reinstall it ? When I go here : http://php.net/manual/en/intl.requirements.php I see tht i can install the PECL or the ICU library, but i don't know if I should and if there is any relation with my problem ..   I am a new kid with dojo, I got weird issue which I take lots of time and have not yet found out, assume I have 4 buttons: <button id="btnMoveFirst" data-dojo-type="dijit.form.Button" iconclass="plusIcon"> &lt; &lt;</button> <button id="btnMovePrev" data-dojo-type="dijit.form.Button" iconclass="plusIcon"> &lt;</button> <button id="btnMoveNext" data-dojo-type="dijit.form.Button" iconclass="plusIcon"> &gt;</button> <button id="btnMoveLast" data-dojo-type="dijit.form.Button" iconclass="plusIcon"> &gt; &gt;</button> And use dojo with event onclick as below: dojo.connect(dijit.registry.byId('btnMoveFirst'), "onclick", function(evt){ alert('test1'); }); dojo.connect(dijit.registry.byId('btnMovePrev'), "onclick", function(evt){ alert('test2'); }); dojo.connect(dijit.registry.byId('btnMoveNext'), "onclick", function(evt){ alert('test3'); }); dojo.connect(dijit.registry.byId('btnMoveLast'), "onclick", function(evt){ alert('test4'); }); But when I click any one of 4 buttons, or even any button in form, I got 4 alerts instead of only correct one. • Color picker does not give gradient appearance

  i added below codes. But it generates to me 16 color. but i need 16 color between "red" and "khaki". i don't need gradient flow. My colors look like gradient flow. My colors must not closer to each other.
