• Android Developing App crashes on startup

  I currently develop an application which contains a custom ListView. I developed a custom array adapter.   Okay. I have completed my first python program.It has around 1000 lines of code. During development I placed plenty of print stmt before running a command using os.system() say something like, print "running command",cmd os.system(cmd) Now I have completed the program.I thought about commenting them but redirecting all these unnecessary print (i can't remove all print stmt- since some provide useful info for user) into a log file will be more useful? Any tricks or tips.

  Hi! I am porting some Core data code from iPhone to Mac OS X. PRoblem is that CoreData Framework on Mac OS X does not have NSFetchedResultsController.h nor NSFetchedResultsControllerDelagete protocol declared. At least I am not able to force COCOA application to see this class even if I drag Core Framework from iPhone project to link with Mac Application? Anyone faced this problem?

Assumtions about system: It has L1 and L2 cache (may be L3 too, may be cache sharing), It may have a hardware prefetch unit (just like P4+), it has a stable clocksource (tickcounter or good HPET for gettimeofday). There are no assumtions about OS (it can be Linux, Windows, smth non-standart), and we can't use posix queries. Language is C. And Compiler optimizations may be disabled.

  Hi, I'm developing a Work item Custom Control and I need to use the standard VS's Merge Wizard for items in source control from my code to allow to user choose the target branch, resolve conflicts etc. I'm pretty sure it's possible in some way (even through the reflection), but I just can't find the proper class in any of VS client assemblies (Microsoft.TeamFoundation.VersionControl.Controls.dll, Microsoft.TeamFoundation.VersionControl.Client.dll).   Hi, I have a perl script running in mod_perl that needs to write a large amount of data to the client, possibly over a long period. The behavior that I observe is that once I print and flush something, the buffer memory is not reclaimed even though I rflush (I know this cant be reclaimed back by the OS). Is that how mod_perl operates and is there a way that I can force it to periodically free the buffer memory, so that I can use that for new buffers instead of taking more from the OS?

The overloaded << if I make it into an inline function. • VerifyError When Running jUnit Test on Android 1.6

The class "Record" is located in com.healthlogger. Commenting out the "@Test..." and "Record r..." lines allows this test to run. When they are uncommented, I get a VerifyError exception. I am severely blocked by this; why is it happening? • How can JVM arguments be passed to apps started through java webstart in MacOS?

  We have a application which is triggered from browser. This application consumes around 800 mb of memory. This works perfectly when invoked from any browsers in windows OS. The same application when triggered from MacOS throws an out of memory exception which occurs when the application is short of memory. Is there any way to increase the memory allocated for apps running in mac os environment. Also please let me know how JVM arguments can be passed to apps started through java webstart in macOS.

It all works well... the only problem: the output from Log.i is cut-off... It's not the complete html page. If I make the same request in a browser, I get 3x the output in opposition to making the request in the emulator and using the above code.... what's wrong?   Given a file, I want to check if this is a DLL, or a shared object (Linux) or a dylib (Mac OS X), or something different. My main interest is differentiating executable and DLL on Linux and Mac OS X. For windows, the extension should be enough for my problem. I already checked that the magic number technique doesn't work for Linux as executable and shared objects both have the same number.

• Android Facebook SDK : post message without showing facebook page

  I am trying to integrate Facebook to my Android app for social post. I have downloaded latest Facebook sdk from here and apply all setup require to post to facebook. Now i can post to facebook. But problem is that, when i run sample program from facebook sdk, a browser like page is open and user have to enter message himself there. but i dont want this page to showed up. i want a fixed message to post directly without opening facebook dialog box. But if there is noway to avoid this, please tell me how can i fixed certain part of message so that user can't modified it. • SVN Source control issues when merging changes

  I have seen where changes have been made on one code file by two developers code like this: x++ End up like this: x++ x++ where due to carriage returns being inserted/removed (I think) one line has become silently merged as two lines of the same code (no conflicts) Everything compiles but suddenly tests are failing and weird behaviour ensues. Should this be possible? How do I guard against it?
