  • Dynamically select field names in a query with Spring JDBCTemplate

    Hi, I have a problem with parameters replacing by Spring JdbcTemplate. I have this query : <bean id="fixQuery" class="java.lang.String"> <constructor-arg type="java.lang.String" value="select fa.id, fi.? from fix_ambulation fa left join fix_i18n fi on fa.translation_id = fi.id order by name" /> And this method : public List<FixAmbulation> readFixAmbulation(String locale) throws Exception { List<FixAmbulation> ambulations = this.getJdbcTemplate().query( fixQuery, new Object[] {locale.toLowerCase()}, ParameterizedBeanPropertyRowMapper .newInstance(FixAmbulation.class)); return ambulations; } And I'd like to have the ? filled with the string representing the locale the user is using. So if the user is brasilian I'd send him the column pt_br from the table fix_i18n, otherwise if he's american I'd send him the column en_us. What I get from this method is a PostgreSQL exception org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: syntax error at or near "$1" If I replace fi.? with just ? (the column name of the locale is unique, so if I run this query in the database it works just fine) what I get is that every object returned from method has the string locale into the field name. I.e. in name field I have "en_us". What am I doing wrong?

    This question is derived of the topic: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2280655/vector-reserve-c I am using a datastructur of the type vector<vector<vector<double> > >. It is not possible to know the size of each of these vector (except the outer one) before items (doubles) are added. I can get an approximate size (upper bound) on the number of items in each "dimension". A solution with the shared pointers might be the way to go, but I would like to try a solution where the vector<vector<vector<double> > > simply has .reserve()'ed enough space (or in some other way has allocated enough memory). Will A.reserve(500) (assumming 500 is the size or, alternatively an upper bound on the size) be enough to hold "2D" vectors of large size, say [1000][10000]? The reason for my question is mainly because I cannot see any way of reasonably estimating the size of the interior of A at the time of .reserve(500). An example of my question: vector A; A.reserve(500+1); vector temp2; vector temp1 (666,666); for(int i=0;i<500;i++) { A.push_back(temp2); for(int j=0; j< 10000;j++) { A.back().push_back(temp1); } } Will this ensure that no reallocation is done for A? If temp2.reserve(100000) and temp1.reserve(1000) where added at creation will this ensure no reallocation at all will occur at all? In the above please disregard the fact that memory could be wasted due to conservative .reserve() calls. Thank you all in advance!

Details sections is generated without any problems automatically displaying polish letters like 'c z z a' etc. where title and column headers contain strange letters instead.     I want to be able to show some data based on criteria the user enters in a text field. I can easily take this data, process the form post, and show the data on another page. However, I want to be able to do it all on the same page - they click the button, and a new div shows up with the information. This doesn't seem too complicated, but I want to use jstl tags to format the data like: <c:forEach items="${model.data}" var="d"> <tr> <td><fmt:formatDate type="date" dateStyle="short" timeStyle="default" value="${d.reportDate}" /></td> <td><c:out value="${d.cardType}"/></td> </tr> </c:forEach> If jstl tags are processed when the page loads, can I use that in this new div? Can I update it via a javascript (using prototype) function to display the proper data? Will I be able to do the same thing if they change the criteria and click the submit button again?

  • WPF - Redrawing a Context Menu when Items change?

    I have a ItemsControl in a ScrollViewer, and when the items exceed the width of the ScrollViewer they are put into a ContextMenu and shown as a DropDown instead. My problem is that when the Context Menu is first loaded, it saves the saves the size of the Menu and does not redraw when more commands get added/removed. For example, a panel has 3 commands. 1 is visible and 2 are in the Menu. Viewing the menu shows the 2 commands and draws the control, but then if you resize the panel so 2 are visible and only 1 command is in the menu, it doesn't redraw the menu to eliminate that second menu item. Or even worse, if you shrink the panel so that no commands are shown and all 3 are in the Menu, it will only show the top 2.     I want to give a static javascript block of code to a html template designer, which can be: either inline or external or both used once or more in the html template and each block can determine its position in the template relative to the other javascript code blocks. An example could be image banners served using javascript. I give code to template designer who places it in two places, once for a horizontal banner in the header and once for a vertical banner. The same code runs in both blocks but knowing their positions can determine if to serve a horizontal or a vertical image banner. Make sense?

    Hello guys, after reading this article "Slash or not to slash" (link: http://googlewebmastercentral.blogspot.com/2010/04/to-slash-or-not-to-slash.html) on Google Webmaster Central Blog (the oficial one) I decided to test my ASP.NET MVC app. For example: http://domain.com/products and http://domain.com/products/ (with "/" in the end), return the code 200, which means: Google understands it as two different links and likely to be a "duplicated content". They suggest to choose the way you want... with or without dash and create a 301 permanent redirect to the preferred way. So if I choose without dash, when I try to access http://domain.com/products/ it will return a 301 to the link without dash: http://domain.com/products.     I was looking for a way to route http://www.example.com/WebService.asmx to http://www.example.com/service/ using only the ASP.NET 3.5 Routing framework without needing to configure the IIS server. Until now I have done what most tutorials told me, added a reference to the routing assembly, configured stuff in the web.config, added this to the Global.asax: protected void Application_Start(object sender, EventArgs e) { RouteCollection routes = RouteTable.Routes; routes.Add( "WebService", new Route("service/{*Action}", new WebServiceRouteHandler()) ); } ...created this class: public class WebServiceRouteHandler : IRouteHandler { public IHttpHandler GetHttpHandler(RequestContext requestContext) { // What now? } } ...and the problem is right there, I don't know what to do. The tutorials and guides I've read use routing for pages, not webservices. Is this even possible? Ps: The route handler is working, I can visit /service/ and it throws the NotImplementedException I left in the GetHttpHandler method.

  • shared library path inconsistent from one host to another

    I built my qt app so that all the Qt modules it uses are contained in the same directory as the executable. It works on the machine I used to build the app and I made sure to test this by removing those shared libraries everywhere except in the current directory of the app. Doing a ldd shows that its looking for those libraries in the current directory and putting the executable by itself fails to open the exectuable. So this is all good but when I transfer this directory to a host machine it still cant find those libraries. what could be the problem?

  • How to debug UrlRewriter.NET?

    I have looked at their help page it seems like I can register a debug logger that outputs information to the 'standard ASP.NET debug window'. My problem is I don't know what that means, if it means the debug output window in Visual Studio (where you see build output, debug output and more) I am not seeing any UrlRewriter debug output. The rules are working (mostly) I just want to get more debug output to fix issues. I added the register call to the rewriter section like this: <rewriter> <register logger="Intelligencia.UrlRewriter.Logging.DebugLogger, Intelligencia.UrlRewriter" /> .... </rewriter> I am hosting this website locally in IIS on Vista, to debug it I attach the debugger to the w3wp process. Other selected parts from the web.config" <compilation debug="true"> <assemblies> ... </assemblies> </compilation> <trace enabled="true"/> Where should I see the debug output from UrlRewriter.NET? If it is in the Visual Studio debug output window, any ideas why I am not seeing it there?

    How can I create a routing structure for a project management application where there are discrete controllers for all the relevant pieces such as TaskController, DocumentController etc and an Over arching controller. I would essentially like a structure like: http://server/Project/123/Task http://server/Project/123/Document I am using mvc1 so I have no access to areas etc. The project section will have a separate master page for project controllers such as task, document etc with a dfferent menu navigaton. The problem is, the height of the comments div temporarily becomes very small while the loading bar is in place.     I have a date range user control with two calendar controls: DateRange.ascx public partial class DateRange { public string FromDate { get { return calFromDate.Text; } set { calFromDate.Text = value; } } public string ToDate { get { return calToDate.Date; } set { calToDate.Text = value; } } } I have another user control in which DateRange control is loaded dynamically: ParamViewer.ascx public partial class ParamViewer { public void Setup(string sControlName) { //Load parameter control Control control = LoadControl("DateRange.ascx"); Controls.Add(control); DateRange dteFrom = (DateRange)control.FindControl("calFromDate"); DateRange dteTo = (DateRange)control.FindControl("calToDate"); } } I have a main page webForm1.aspx where ParamViewer.ascx is added When user enter the dates, they're set correctly in DateRange control. My question is how how do I retrieve the values entered in DateRange (FromDate and ToDate)control from btnSubmit_Click event in webForm1? Please advise. Thank you in advance.
