  • Is there any event fired when a DataTemplate has been initiated in WPF?

    - by Shimmy
Hello! Take a look at the following xaml: <ListBox ItemsSource="{Binding}"> <ListBox.Resources> <CollectionViewSource x:Key="CVS"/> </ListBox.Resources> <ListBox.DataTemplate> <DataTemplate OnBinding="myBinding"> <ListBox DataContext="{StaticResource CVS}" ItemsSource="{Binding}" /> </DataTemplate> </ListBox.DataTemplate> </ListBox> So I can handle the binding and manually retrieve the CVS and set its Source property to my custom stuff according to the DataTemplate's DataContext. Or else there is a different way in doing it. Any ideas are welcommed!

  • .NET 4 SpinLock

    - by Jon Harrop
The following test code (F#) is not returning the result I'd expect: let safeCount() = let n = 1000000 let counter = ref 0 let spinlock = ref <| SpinLock(false) let run i0 i1 () = for i=i0 to i1-1 do let locked = ref false try (!spinlock).Enter locked if !locked then counter := !counter + 1 finally if !locked then (!spinlock).Exit() let thread = System.Threading.Thread(run 0 (n/2)) thread.Start() run (n/2) n () thread.Join() !counter I'd expect the SpinLock to mutually exclude the counter and, therefore, for it to return counts of 1,000,000 but, instead, it returns smaller values as if no mutual exclusion is occurring. Any ideas what's wrong?

  • onload Event in embedded SVG not calling function in attached script. Scope Issue?

    - by Nick
Hi So I've got an XHTML page with a script - not inline > <script type="text/javascript" > src="../global/js/scripts.js"></script> and an embedded (I tried embed and object, same behavior) SVG document with a onload="CheckIfLoaded(evt)" attribute. The problem is firefox doesn't call the CheckIfLoaded() function in scripts.js. Firebug gives me "CheckIfLoaded() is not defined" with no reference to any line numbers. I can't find any information regarding the scope of javascript functions with respect to embedded content. Curiously, it works fine in IE. I could of course add a reference to the script into the SVG file as well but I believe that will result in the client downloading the scripts file twice and in addition I have 1000+ svg files and I'd really rather not add one line to all of them, although I suppose I could write a batch file or whatever if I have to. Any one know more about this? Thanks, Nick

  • How to find the data key on CheckedChanged event of checkbox in ListView in ASP.NET?

    - by subodh
    I am using a list view inside that in item template i am using a label and a checkbox. I want that whenever user clicks on the check box the value should be updated in a table.i am using a datakeys in listview.on the basis of datakey value should be updated in the table. Query is: string updateQuery = "UPDATE [TABLE] SET [COLUMN] = " + Convert.ToInt32(chk.Checked) + " WHERE PK_ID =" + dataKey + " ";` also i want some help in displaying the result as it is inside the table.means if the value for column in table for a particular pkid is 1 then the checkbox shoul be checked. Here is the code snippet: <asp:ListView ID="lvFocusArea" runat="server" DataKeyNames="PK_ID" OnItemDataBound="lvFocusArea_ItemDataBound"> <LayoutTemplate> <table border="0" cellpadding="1" width="400px"> <tr style="background-color: #E5E5FE"> <th align="left"> Focus Area </th> <th> Is Current Focused </th> </tr> <tr id="itemPlaceholder" runat="server"> </tr> </table> </LayoutTemplate> <ItemTemplate> <tr> <td width="80%"> <asp:Label ID="lblFocusArea" runat="server" Text=""><%#Eval("FOCUS_AREA_NAME") %></asp:Label> </td> <td align="center" width="20%"> <asp:CheckBox ID="chkFocusArea" runat="server" OnCheckedChanged="chkFocusArea_CheckedChanged" AutoPostBack="true" /> </td> </tr> </ItemTemplate> <AlternatingItemTemplate> <tr style="background-color: #EFEFEF"> <td> <asp:Label ID="lblFocusArea" runat="server" Text=""><%#Eval("FOCUS_AREA_NAME") %></asp:Label> </td> <td align="center"> <asp:CheckBox ID="chkFocusArea" runat="server" OnCheckedChanged="chkFocusArea_CheckedChanged" AutoPostBack="true" /> </td> </tr> </AlternatingItemTemplate> <SelectedItemTemplate> <td> item selected </td> </SelectedItemTemplate> </asp:ListView> Help me.

  • How to marshall COM object on the server side in visual c++?

    - by dos
I have a out-of-process COM server with an ATL Simple Object which creates another thread. The new thread will need to make calls to ATL Simple object. Since ATL Simple Object and new thread are created different apartments, ATL Simple Object needs to be marshalled in the new thread, otherwise error 0x8001010e will be generated. How do I marshall COM Object on the server side or Am I missing something? Many thanks.

  • What is the fastest cyclic synchronization in Java (ExecutorService vs. CyclicBarrier vs. X)?

    - by Alex Dunlop
Which Java synchronization construct is likely to provide the best performance for a concurrent, iterative processing scenario with a fixed number of threads like the one outlined below? After experimenting on my own for a while (using ExecutorService and CyclicBarrier) and being somewhat surprised by the results, I would be grateful for some expert advice and maybe some new ideas. Existing questions here do not seem to focus primarily on performance, hence this new one. Thanks in advance! The core of the app is a simple iterative data processing algorithm, parallelized to the spread the computational load across 8 cores on a Mac Pro, running OS X 10.6 and Java 1.6.0_07. The data to be processed is split into 8 blocks and each block is fed to a Runnable to be executed by one of a fixed number of threads. Parallelizing the algorithm was fairly straightforward, and it functionally works as desired, but its performance is not yet what I think it could be. The app seems to spend a lot of time in system calls synchronizing, so after some profiling I wonder whether I selected the most appropriate synchronization mechanism(s). A key requirement of the algorithm is that it needs to proceed in stages, so the threads need to sync up at the end of each stage. The main thread prepares the work (very low overhead), passes it to the threads, lets them work on it, then proceeds when all threads are done, rearranges the work (again very low overhead) and repeats the cycle. The machine is dedicated to this task, Garbage Collection is minimized by using per-thread pools of pre-allocated items, and the number of threads can be fixed (no incoming requests or the like, just one thread per CPU core). V1 - ExecutorService My first implementation used an ExecutorService with 8 worker threads. The program creates 8 tasks holding the work and then lets them work on it, roughly like this: // create one thread per CPU executorService = Executors.newFixedThreadPool( 8 ); ... // now process data in cycles while( ...) { // package data into 8 work items ... // create one Callable task per work item ... // submit the Callables to the worker threads executorService.invokeAll( taskList ); } This works well functionally (it does what it should), and for very large work items indeed all 8 CPUs become highly loaded, as much as the processing algorithm would be expected to allow (some work items will finish faster than others, then idle). However, as the work items become smaller (and this is not really under the program's control), the user CPU load shrinks dramatically: blocksize | system | user | cycles/sec 256k 1.8% 85% 1.30 64k 2.5% 77% 5.6 16k 4% 64% 22.5 4096 8% 56% 86 1024 13% 38% 227 256 17% 19% 420 64 19% 17% 948 16 19% 13% 1626 Legend: - block size = size of the work item (= computational steps) - system = system load, as shown in OS X Activity Monitor (red bar) - user = user load, as shown in OS X Activity Monitor (green bar) - cycles/sec = iterations through the main while loop, more is better The primary area of concern here is the high percentage of time spent in the system, which appears to be driven by thread synchronization calls. As expected, for smaller work items, ExecutorService.invokeAll() will require relatively more effort to sync up the threads versus the amount of work being performed in each thread. But since ExecutorService is more generic than it would need to be for this use case (it can queue tasks for threads if there are more tasks than cores), I though maybe there would be a leaner synchronization construct. V2 - CyclicBarrier The next implementation used a CyclicBarrier to sync up the threads before receiving work and after completing it, roughly as follows: main() { // create the barrier barrier = new CyclicBarrier( 8 + 1 ); // create Runable for thread, tell it about the barrier Runnable task = new WorkerThreadRunnable( barrier ); // start the threads for( int i = 0; i < 8; i++ ) { // create one thread per core new Thread( task ).start(); } while( ... ) { // tell threads about the work ... // N threads + this will call await(), then system proceeds barrier.await(); // ... now worker threads work on the work... // wait for worker threads to finish barrier.await(); } } class WorkerThreadRunnable implements Runnable { CyclicBarrier barrier; WorkerThreadRunnable( CyclicBarrier barrier ) { this.barrier = barrier; } public void run() { while( true ) { // wait for work barrier.await(); // do the work ... // wait for everyone else to finish barrier.await(); } } } Again, this works well functionally (it does what it should), and for very large work items indeed all 8 CPUs become highly loaded, as before. However, as the work items become smaller, the load still shrinks dramatically: blocksize | system | user | cycles/sec 256k 1.9% 85% 1.30 64k 2.7% 78% 6.1 16k 5.5% 52% 25 4096 9% 29% 64 1024 11% 15% 117 256 12% 8% 169 64 12% 6.5% 285 16 12% 6% 377 For large work items, synchronization is negligible and the performance is identical to V1. But unexpectedly, the results of the (highly specialized) CyclicBarrier seem MUCH WORSE than those for the (generic) ExecutorService: throughput (cycles/sec) is only about 1/4th of V1. A preliminary conclusion would be that even though this seems to be the advertised ideal use case for CyclicBarrier, it performs much worse than the generic ExecutorService. V3 - Wait/Notify + CyclicBarrier It seemed worth a try to replace the first cyclic barrier await() with a simple wait/notify mechanism: main() { // create the barrier // create Runable for thread, tell it about the barrier // start the threads while( ... ) { // tell threads about the work // for each: workerThreadRunnable.setWorkItem( ... ); // ... now worker threads work on the work... // wait for worker threads to finish barrier.await(); } } class WorkerThreadRunnable implements Runnable { CyclicBarrier barrier; @NotNull volatile private Callable<Integer> workItem; WorkerThreadRunnable( CyclicBarrier barrier ) { this.barrier = barrier; this.workItem = NO_WORK; } final protected void setWorkItem( @NotNull final Callable<Integer> callable ) { synchronized( this ) { workItem = callable; notify(); } } public void run() { while( true ) { // wait for work while( true ) { synchronized( this ) { if( workItem != NO_WORK ) break; try { wait(); } catch( InterruptedException e ) { e.printStackTrace(); } } } // do the work ... // wait for everyone else to finish barrier.await(); } } } Again, this works well functionally (it does what it should). blocksize | system | user | cycles/sec 256k 1.9% 85% 1.30 64k 2.4% 80% 6.3 16k 4.6% 60% 30.1 4096 8.6% 41% 98.5 1024 12% 23% 202 256 14% 11.6% 299 64 14% 10.0% 518 16 14.8% 8.7% 679 The throughput for small work items is still much worse than that of the ExecutorService, but about 2x that of the CyclicBarrier. Eliminating one CyclicBarrier eliminates half of the gap. V4 - Busy wait instead of wait/notify Since this app is the primary one running on the system and the cores idle anyway if they're not busy with a work item, why not try a busy wait for work items in each thread, even if that spins the CPU needlessly. The worker thread code changes as follows: class WorkerThreadRunnable implements Runnable { // as before final protected void setWorkItem( @NotNull final Callable<Integer> callable ) { workItem = callable; } public void run() { while( true ) { // busy-wait for work while( true ) { if( workItem != NO_WORK ) break; } // do the work ... // wait for everyone else to finish barrier.await(); } } } Also works well functionally (it does what it should). blocksize | system | user | cycles/sec 256k 1.9% 85% 1.30 64k 2.2% 81% 6.3 16k 4.2% 62% 33 4096 7.5% 40% 107 1024 10.4% 23% 210 256 12.0% 12.0% 310 64 11.9% 10.2% 550 16 12.2% 8.6% 741 For small work items, this increases throughput by a further 10% over the CyclicBarrier + wait/notify variant, which is not insignificant. But it is still much lower-throughput than V1 with the ExecutorService. V5 - ? So what is the best synchronization mechanism for such a (presumably not uncommon) problem? I am weary of writing my own sync mechanism to completely replace ExecutorService (assuming that it is too generic and there has to be something that can still be taken out to make it more efficient). It is not my area of expertise and I'm concerned that I'd spend a lot of time debugging it (since I'm not even sure my wait/notify and busy wait variants are correct) for uncertain gain. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • FileReference.load() does not as excepted

    - by Yang Bo
    I used Flash player 10, and Flex SDK 3.4. The code as followings: // Following comes callbacks function imageLoadOpenCallback(evt:Event):void { trace("in--open"); } function imageLoadCompleteCallback(evt:Event):void { trace("in--load"); var fr:FileReference = evt.target as FileReference; trace(fr.data); } function imageLoadErrorCallback(evt:IOErrorEvent):void { trace("in--ioerror"); } function imageSelectCancelCallback(evt:Event):void { trace("in cancel"); } function imageSelectCallback(evt:Event):void { trace("in -- select"); for (var i:int=0; i<frl.fileList.length; i++) { frl.fileList[i].addEventListener(Event.OPEN, imageLoadOpenCallback); frl.fileList[i].addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, imageLoadCompleteCallback); frl.fileList[i].addEventListener(IOErrorEvent.IO_ERROR, imageLoadErrorCallback); frl.fileList[i].load(); trace(frl.fileList[i]); trace(frl.fileList[i].creationDate); trace(frl.fileList[i].creator); trace(frl.fileList[i].data); trace(frl.fileList[i].name); } } // Following comes UI handlers function onAddPictures():void { var imageFilter:FileFilter = new FileFilter("Images", "*.jpg;*.png"); frl.addEventListener(Event.SELECT, imageSelectCallback); frl.addEventListener(Event.CANCEL, imageSelectCancelCallback); frl.browse([imageFilter]); } Only the imageSelectCancelCallback handler get called when I select some files in the dialog. But no load/open/io_error handler get called at all. I have Google some code example, in which it used FileReference instead of FileReferenceList. I don't know the reason, could you please help me?

  • HTTPService/ResultEvent with Flex 3.2 versus Flex >= 3.5

    - by Julian
Hey everybody, through a design decission or what-so-ever Adobe changed the content of the ResultEvent fired by a HTTPService Object. Take a look at following example: var httpService:HTTPService = myHTTPServices.getResults(); httpService.addEventListener(ResultEvent.RESULT,resultHandler); httpService.send(); /** * Handels the login process */ function resultHandler(event:ResultEvent):void { // get http service var httpService = (event.target as HTTPService); // do something } It works like a charm with Flex 3.2. But when I try to compile it with Flex 3.5 or Flex 4.0 event.target as HTTPService is null. I figured out that event.target is now an instance of HTTPOperation. That is interesting because I can't find HTTPOperation in the langref. However, I think what Flash Builder's debugger means is mx.rpc.http.Operation. The debugger also shows that event.target has a private attribute httpService which is the instance I expected to get with event.target. But it's private, so event.target.httpService doesn't work. If I only want to remove the EventListener I can cast event.target as EventDispatcher. But I need to use methods from HTTPService. So: How can I get the HTTPService instance from the ResultEvent? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! J.

  • Zend framework "invalid controller" error message

    - by stef
When I load the homepage of a ZF site I get a message saying "Invalid controller specified (error)" where "error" seems to be the name of the controller. In my bootstrap.php I have the snippet below where I added the prints statement in the catch(): // Dispatch the request using the front controller. try { $frontController->dispatch(); } catch (Exception $exception) { print $exception; exit; exit($exception->getMessage()); } This prints out: exception 'Zend_Controller_Dispatcher_Exception' with message 'Invalid controller specified (error)' in /www/common/ZendFramework/library16/Zend/Controller/Dispatcher/Standard.php:241 Stack trace: #0 /www/common/ZendFramework/library16/Zend/Controller/Front.php(934): Zend_Controller_Dispatcher_Standard->dispatch(Object(Zend_Controller_Request_Http), Object(Zend_Controller_Response_Http)) #1 /www/site.com/htdocs/application/bootstrap.php(38): Zend_Controller_Front->dispatch() #2 /www/site.com/htdocs/public/index.php(16): require('/www/site....') #3 {main} Can anyone make sense out of what it going on? I have a hunch it has something to do with case sensitivity and the naming conventions of ZF. The initial "invalid controller" message comes from the snippet below print $request->getControllerName(); if (!$this->isDispatchable($request)) { $controller = $request->getControllerName(); if (!$this->getParam('useDefaultControllerAlways') && !empty($controller)) { require_once 'Zend/Controller/Dispatcher/Exception.php'; throw new Zend_Controller_Dispatcher_Exception('Invalid controller specified (' . $request->getControllerName() . ')'); } $className = $this->getDefaultControllerClass($request); } This all prints out "indexerrorInvalid controller specified (error)" so it looks like it's trying to load the index controller first, can not and then has a problem loading the error controller. Could it just be that the path to the controller files is wrong?

  • Adding CKEditor through javascript onclick event adds a CKEditor to the DOM but does not allow me to

    - by Mallika Iyer
Hi, I'm adding a ckeditor to my form using the onclick functionality - i.e., when the user clicks a button, the ckeditor is added to the form. I'm echoing out the html generated when a ckeditor is added to a page through the javascript function. The ckeditor is added, but the text area cannot be modified. is it because i'm adding the html to generate the ckeditor as : ckeditor.innerHTML = '......'; is there another way to add a ckeditor to my form using the javascript onclick (like: onclick="addCKEditor();") Thanks!

  • using ResultSet.Previous method not working in Java using .mdb file OBDC

    - by jsonnie
Hello, I'm currently having an issue with my open result set not working how I believe it should. The only function that is currently working is the next() method, nothing else will work. • Kerberos service on win2k dc will not start following disk failure

    - by iwilson68
Hi, I have a win2k (mixed mode domain) with 4 DCS. One of these also acts an exchange 2000 server which uses 2 logical volumes from an MSA 2000 array. AD etc is stored on local drives. We experienced a problem last week when the raid array fell back to a redundant controller and this temporarily meant that the two logical drives were not visible to the server for around 5 minutes and a couple of reboots. The log records these Events as Type: Warning Event Source: Disk Event Category: None Event ID: 51 Date: 06/11/2009 Time: 11:46:23 User: N/A Computer: server1 Description: An error was detected on device \Device\Harddisk1\DR1 during a paging operation. Following these problems, the server “kerberos Key Distribution” service refuses to start with an “error.31 a device attached to the system is not functioning”. All other automatic start services (including net logon) are running and there are no DNS issues etc. All devices are also functioning but the two logical MSA disks are now numbered in the Windows Disk Management MMC as 2 and 4 and I suspect that they may have previously been identified as disks 1 & 2 and perhaps windows still sees this as an ongoing failure?? Replication has not been affected but obviously there are many audit failures in the security log relating to users and workstations presumably linked to the Kerberos issue. Attempting to manually start the kerberos service generates the following in the System Log. Event Type: Error Event Source: Service Control Manager Event Category: None Event ID: 7023 Date: 09/11/2009 Time: 09:46:55 User: N/A Computer: Server1 Description: The Kerberos Key Distribution Center service terminated with the following error: A device attached to the system is not functioning. DCDIAG passes all tests except “Advertising” and “Services” which I believe relate directly to the failure of Kerberos only. Any advice would be appreciated.

  • Benefit of using multiple SIMD instruction sets simultaneously

    - by GenTiradentes
I'm writing a highly parallel application that's multithreaded. I've already got an SSE accelerated thread class written. If I were to write an MMX accelerated thread class, then run both at the same time (one SSE thread and one MMX thread per core) would the performance improve noticeably? I would think that this setup would help hide memory latency, but I'd like to be sure before I start pouring time into it.

  • Machine Learning Algorithm for Predicting Order of Events?

    - by user213060
Simple machine learning question. Probably numerous ways to solve this: There is an infinite stream of 4 possible events: 'event_1', 'event_2', 'event_4', 'event_4' The events do not come in in completely random order. We will assume that there are some complex patterns to the order that most events come in, and the rest of the events are just random. We do not know the patterns ahead of time though. After each event is received, I want to predict what the next event will be based on the order that events have come in in the past. The predictor will then be told what the next event actually was: Predictor=new_predictor() prev_event=False while True: event=get_event() if prev_event is not False: Predictor.last_event_was(prev_event) predicted_event=Predictor.predict_next_event(event) The question arises of how long of a history that the predictor should maintain, since maintaining infinite history will not be possible. I'll leave this up to you to answer. The answer can't be infinte though for practicality. So I believe that the predictions will have to be done with some kind of rolling history. Adding a new event and expiring an old event should therefore be rather efficient, and not require rebuilding the entire predictor model, for example. Specific code, instead of research papers, would add for me immense value to your responses. Python or C libraries are nice, but anything will do. Thanks! Update: And what if more than one event can happen simultaneously on each round. Does that change the solution?

  • Does setting an onload event for a <script> tag work consistently in modern browsers?

    - by Matchu
I observe that placing the following in an external script file has the desired effect in my copies of Firefox and Google Chrome: var s = document.createElement('script'); s.setAttribute('type', 'text/javascript'); s.setAttribute('src', 'http://www.example.com/external_script.js'); s.onload = function () { doSomethingNowThatExternalScriptHasLoaded } document.getElementsByTagName('body')[0].appendChild(s); It adds a an external script tag to them DOM, and attaches a function to the tag for when the script has loaded. I'm having trouble testing in Internet Explorer right now, but I'm not sure if it's related to that addition in particular, or something else. Does this method work in the more modern versions of other browsers, including IE7/8? If not, how else could I go about this?

  • How to simulate mousemove event from one window to another?

    - by Gohan
    Hello, I am trying to Create an empty window, which process the WM_MOUSEMOVE message in WinProc: case WM_MOUSEMOVE: { HWND otherHwnd = HWND(0x000608FC); POINT pt = {LOWORD(lParam), HIWORD(lParam)}; ClientToScreen(otherHwnd, &pt); PostMessage(otherHwnd, WM_TIMER, WPARAM(4096), 0); PostMessage(otherHwnd, message, wParam, lParam); SendMessage(otherHwnd, WM_NCHITTEST, NULL, (LPARAM)MAKELONG(pt.x, pt.y)); SendMessage(otherHwnd, WM_NCHITTEST, NULL, (LPARAM)MAKELONG(pt.x, pt.y)); SendMessage(otherHwnd, WM_NCHITTEST, NULL, (LPARAM)MAKELONG(pt.x, pt.y)); SendMessage(otherHwnd, WM_SETCURSOR, WPARAM(otherHwnd), (LPARAM)MAKELONG(HTCLIENT, WM_MOUSEMOVE)); break; } I hope I can hover the hyberlink in IE, but result is the hyberlink only be showed as hover style in a very short time, then it turn to normal, and then again hover, then normal. At www.amazon.com, when I simulate to hover the link("Today's Deals ") , the link is blinking. I think there is a better way to do it, even the IE window is covered with some other windows, it can make the IE act with the mouseevent. waiting for the best solution~ orz Above is the spy++ logs when I realy hover the link. and the simulate is as same as the real message <01277> 000608FC S WM_SETCURSOR hwnd:000608FC nHittest:HTCLIENT wMouseMsg:WM_MOUSEMOVE <01278> 000608FC R WM_SETCURSOR fHaltProcessing:False <01279> 000608FC P WM_MOUSEMOVE fwKeys:0000 xPos:406 yPos:50 <01280> 000608FC P WM_TIMER wTimerID:4096 tmprc:00000000 <01281> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:520 yPos:283 <01282> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT <01283> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:520 yPos:283 <01284> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT <01285> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:520 yPos:283 <01286> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT <01287> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:520 yPos:283 <01288> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT <01289> 000608FC S WM_SETCURSOR hwnd:000608FC nHittest:HTCLIENT wMouseMsg:WM_MOUSEMOVE <01290> 000608FC R WM_SETCURSOR fHaltProcessing:False <01291> 000608FC P WM_MOUSEMOVE fwKeys:0000 xPos:406 yPos:50 <01292> 000608FC P WM_TIMER wTimerID:4096 tmprc:00000000 <01293> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:520 yPos:283 <01294> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT <01295> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:520 yPos:283 <01296> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT <01297> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:520 yPos:283 <01298> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT <01299> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:520 yPos:283 <01300> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT <01301> 000608FC S WM_SETCURSOR hwnd:000608FC nHittest:HTCLIENT wMouseMsg:WM_MOUSEMOVE <01302> 000608FC R WM_SETCURSOR fHaltProcessing:False <01303> 000608FC P WM_MOUSEMOVE fwKeys:0000 xPos:406 yPos:50 <01304> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:520 yPos:283 <01305> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT <01306> 000608FC P WM_TIMER wTimerID:4096 tmprc:00000000 <01307> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:520 yPos:283 <01308> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT <01309> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:520 yPos:283 <01310> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT <01311> 000608FC S WM_NCHITTEST xPos:521 yPos:281 <01312> 000608FC R WM_NCHITTEST nHittest:HTCLIENT

    - by IbrarMumtaz
Anybody got any any tutorials that cover these subjects ... the official MS 70-536 book covers this but I don't want to take any chances as I want additional reading materials problem is, its proving difficult to find anything on it. It's a fairly big subject so am hoping somone on here as here as got some good reading materials on that cover these subjects. At this very moment in time, im reading this; Tutorial01 Its not much, but its a good starting point. I'm not a big fan MSDN and the way its structured and layout, I mainly use it for framework related questions like classes and interfaces and etc. WHen it comes to tutorials, i prefer thrid party websites. Lastly, this extra reading which I am asking for is really revision for the 70-536 exam. TIA. Ibrar

  • Flex: FileReference and Image unhandled IOErrorEvent

    - by deux11
The following code shows a button that allows you to select a file (should be an image) and display it into an image component. When I select an invalid image (e.g. a word document), I get the following error: "Error #2044: Unhandled IOErrorEvent:. text=Error #2124: Loaded file is an unknown type." I know I can pass a FileFilter to the FileReference:browse call, but that's beyond the point. My question is... I want to handle the IOErrorEvent myself, what event listener am I missing? private var file:FileReference = new FileReference(); private function onBrowse():void { file.browse(null); file.addEventListener(Event.SELECT, handleFileSelect); file.addEventListener(Event.COMPLETE, handleFileComplete); } private function handleFileSelect(event:Event):void { file.load(); } private function handleFileComplete(event:Event):void { myImage.source = file.data; } private function handleImageIoError(evt:IOErrorEvent):void { Alert.show("IOErrorEvent"); } <mx:Button click="onBrowse()" label="Browse"/> <mx:Image id="myImage" width="100" height="100" ioError="handleImageIoError(event)"/>

  • How do I detect a click event on a google map through an overlay?

    - by freddoo
My problem is that I have a circle map overlay but I want to be able to move the circle by clicking the map to set the new center, the actual problem is that when I click on the overlay and call my method 'setCenter(overlay, latlng) ' , I get undefined latlang and a valid overlay. here is an example that can illustrate the problem, if you click the map a polygon is drawn and if you click inside the polygon no new polygon is drawn, if you click anywhere else on the map a polygon is drawn http://code.google.com/apis/maps/documentation/examples/polygon-simple.html I want to be able to click the polygon and draw a new one making them overlap thanks

  • SQL Joining Two or More from Table B with Common Data in Table A

    - by Matthew Frederick
The real-world situation is a series of events that each have two or more participants (like sports teams, though there can be more than two in an event), only one of which is the host of the event. There is an Event db table for each unique event and a Participant db table with unique participants. They are joined together using a Matchup table. They look like this: Event EventID (PK) (other event data like the date, etc.) Participant ParticipantID (PK) Name Matchup EventID (FK to Event table) ParicipantID (FK to Participant) Host (1 or 0, only 1 host = 1 per EventID) What I'd like to get as a result is something like this: EventID ParticipantID where host = 1 Participant.Name where host = 1 ParticipantID where host = 0 Participant.Name where host = 0 ParticipantID where host = 0 Participant.Name where host = 0 ... Where one event has 2 participants and another has 3 participants, for example, the third participant column data would be null or otherwise noticeable, something like (PID = ParticipantID): EventID PID-1(host) Name-1 (host) PID-2 Name-2 PID-3 Name-3 ------- ----------- ------------- ----- ------ ----- ------ 1 7 Lions 8 Tigers 12 Bears 2 11 Dogs 9 Cats NULL NULL I suspect the answer is reasonably straightforward but for some reason I'm not wrapping my head around it. Alternately it's very difficult. :) I'm using MYSQL 5 if that affects the available SQL.

  • When do I need to use automatic poperties and when properties with propertychanged event ?

    - by Honey
Hello, I am using wpf and its C sharp! I have this in my Animal.cs clas private string _animalName; public string AnimalName { get { return _animalName; } set { if(_animalName!= value) { _animalName= value; this.NotifyPropertyChanged("AnimalName"); } } } I could also write: public string AnimalName {get;set;} There is no difference in binding and validation. Everythings works as before when I exchange the code. Is this due to the fact that I only create new animals but I do not allow to update the animals name in my application ? So I need to call the propertyChanged("AnimalName"); only when I want to change its property value? I am a c# beginner ;)
