  • I cannot access my flickr account

    I was using Google account to log in to my Flickr. After several days, I entered into the Flickr account and found out that Flickr is moving into only Yahoo login. So I tried the Google login and it shows This account is not connected with any Yahoo account. Sign up for new........ or use existing etc... Can't remember the exact words. So I provided my Yahoo mail credentials. Now every time it is giving me a brand new account, rather taking me to my previous Flickr account. I can view the previous account photos, but After going there, it treated me as a outsider. New account showing me that I've not uploaded any photo. What's wrong? How can I connect with my previous account?

    I want to create a function so that i can call add JLabel's, etc inside the JScrollPanel. I am not sure what the command is in NetBeans. I tried doing JScrollPanel - events - container - componentAdded to create the code below.     I'm using Rails 3. I want to create a select tag with some options grouped and others not grouped. Options would look something like this: Income Auto Fuel Maintenance Home Maintenance Mortgage In this example, Income is not a group, but Auto and Home are. I see three helper methods grouped_options_for_select and grouped_collection_select, option_groups_from_collection_for_select. Is there a way to use a helper to do this or will I have to generate the HTML myself? I imagine I could use two different helpers to create the options and just append the results of both.

  • VPN connects but no remote lan access

    I have a PPTP_ VPN setup through Windows to a Cisco (LinkSYS) router, which was working fine up until yesterday. Now I can connect, and I can ping the router however I am unable to reach any of the machines on the remote network. I've tried this from multiple PCs on Multiple networks / internet connections wuth the same results. Any ideas what may have caused this?

    I see answers to similar questions and I'm sure I may just not be familiar enough with Git and Github terminology to know if they apply to my question. What I need to do is to clone an existing Github remote repository (a private repo under another person's username that I have contributor access to) and create a new private remote repo under my account. The existing repo user is going to make significant alterations to the repo, delete, and re-push, before they do that they want me to clone and create a duplicate so we can continue working from the repo under my user. I want to preserve the commit history with the repo if possible. I've cloned locally but don't can't seem to figure out how to push it to a new remote that isn't origined to the original user.

  • Unable to access my own websites from our home

    Not sure if this is the right place to ask, but i'm gonna have a shot at it. I host a couple of websites with a webhost in the Netherlands. For a couple of days now, i've been unable to connect to them from my home network. When using tracert in the cmd screen, i'm getting a timeout after about 4-5 hops. It seems fine accessing the website from anywhere, except my home network. Other PC's around the house also fail to open the websites. I've tried 'flushing my DNS' as seen in some other topics, but to no avail just yet. One of the websites: http://bit.ly/1hbqs4J I've contacted my host about it as well, but no response yet.   • How to access both partitions on a bootable USB flash drive in Windows

    I have a 16GB USB Flash Drive that is partitioned into two different sizes. The first partition contains a bootable version of Ubuntu, the second partition is for general saving of files. Windows will only recognise the first partition. I have tried using Bootice but this breaks the bootable partition. Disk Management recognises the second partition but does not allow me to do anything with it. Is there a way to make both partitions accessible by Windows and keep the USB disk bootable?

    I can not seem to connect to YouTube at all. If I connect directly to YouTube (youtube.com) I get this: And if I try to connect via video directly (youtube.com/watch?v=), I get this: Here's how this isn't a web issue: I have malware on my computer I believe. And the question here is, how do I get rid of it, or what possible issue could this be? I can verify this is not a website issue or wifi issue, I've tried to connect on another computer in my wifi, and it worked. It is the local machine issue. I've tried to get rid of malware at my best and also have tried to disable possible virus extensions. All can out as the same result: no help. Also, I am unable to find these hiding viruses. I used malware-bytes and Microsoft Security Essentials. Edit: This is OBVIOUSLY Windows. I am currently running on a laptop Windows 7 Home Premium 4gb ram 64-bit os Lifebook series manufactured by Fujitsu America, Inc. Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-3110M CPU @ 2.40GHz nslookup youtube.com:

  • Ubuntu Linux -- create custom burnable/bootable DVD image?

    I recently developed some kiosk software that runs on Ubuntu Linux, and my client needs me to set up ten more computers with the complete software package(and that number will only grow in the future). So I'm looking for a way to make this less of a pain in the neck and prevent me from shooting myself in the foot -- I had to disable some things on the installations of the operating systems like screensavers, automatic updates, etc. that would pop up and disrupt the kiosk operation. I don't feel comfortable doing that by hand across 10 computers, it seems stupid. Does anybody have recommendations for software that would let me burn an installable DVD with a complete image of the hard drive from one of the devices? I've looked at Clonezilla, G4L, and PartImage and I'm still not quite sure if any of them offer what I need. I know PartImage for sure won't work, because it doesn't support Ext4.

    I have to use setenv.sh to set system properties. I am using Linux OS and Tomcat Server 6. As described here Linux Environment- setenv.sh , I have created a setenv.sh in tomcat/bin, and the only think I added is the export JAVA_OPTS =”-Dmyprojectvar.subname=value -Danothervariable=value -Danother.variable=value” I dont know, is this enough to set the properties. I just want to add three properties to tomcat as system property using setenv.sh. What should I do to complete it successfully? What are the steps for it?I saw this question setenv.sh is not working in http://stackoverflow.com/. No is answer given there and ,even ,I don't understand the question. ie, Do we need to set CATALINA_HOME and other properties somewhere in setenv.sh?.

  • Windows Server 2008 scheduled tasks cannot create files

    We have a series of tasks which, when run interactively over the command line run fine creating temporary files and (importantly) logs and backups. When we schedule the task with Administrator privileges to run at the highest priority, however, no logs or temporary files are created! All the directories have read/write privileges as administrator. Has anyone else experienced this?? We are running Windows 2008 Server & the job is configured for 'Windows Vista or Windows Server 2008'. Any help would be much appreciated! OK - so we installed Z-Cron and it works perfectly.... Still a really really strange error from Windows 2008 Task Scheduler, but a solution is perhaps not quite so urgent now we have Z-Cron working!

  • RewriteRule causes POST data to get dumped before I can access it

    I'm currently setting up my own 'webserver' (a Ubuntu Server on some old hardware) so I can have a mess around with PHP and get some experience managing a server. I'm using my own little MVC framework and I've hit a snag... In order for all requests to make it through the dispatcher, I am using: <Directory /var/www/> RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} !\.(png|jpg|jpeg|bmp|gif|css|js)$ [NC] RewriteRule . HomeProjects/index.php [L] </Directory> Which works great. I read on Stackoverflow to change the [L] to [P] to preserve post data. However, this causes every page to return: Not Found The requested URL <url> was not found on this server. So after some more searching, I found, "Note that you need to enable the proxy module, and the proxy_http_module in the config files for this to work." The problem is, I have no idea how to do this and everything I google has people using examples with virtual hosts and I don't know how to 'translate' that into something useful for my setup. I'm accessing my webserver via my public IP and forwarding traffic on port 80 to the web server (like I'm pretending I have a domain/server). How can I get this enabled/get post data working again? Edit: When I use the following, the server never responds and the page loads indefinately?   • Windows clients cannot access machine running DHCP server

    I'm trying to setup a small LAN, using an Ethernet switch, an Arch Linux server, and around 10 Windows XP machines. This network has no outside connections. The Arch machine has a self configured ip address (configured with ip addr add 192.168.0.1 dev eth0), and acts as a DHCP server(using dhcpd). This portion works great, windows clients get IP addresses, the correct gateway settings, perfect. However, the clients cannot connect to each other, or to the dhcp server. When I run ping 192.168.0.1 on any client, I get no response, same happens if I try to ping any other client. On the gateway machine, I can't ping any of the clients either. Any help would be much appreciated!

    I'm trying to create a function to parse out all values in a multidimensional Array with all but one dimension given. The details are not relevant, but for this function I need to return an one-dimensional Array containing values of the same type the original multidimensional Array has. To pass any Array with any dimension to my function, I declared the type of this parameter as Array. However, how would I create a new Array of that specific type (e.g. Integer)? Currently I have the following code: Function GetRow(ByVal arr As Array) As Array Dim result As (...) 'This should be Integer() if arr contains Integers, etc. Return result End Function How do I declare the type of result to make it having the same type of values as arr? New Array is not possible as it is declared MustInherit. Thanks a lot.

    Hi, My application SilverLight which is hosted in my local host, doesn't access my web app and its database over WCF. I don't know why !!. I've looked over 100 sites and blogs which they have scribed how to configure WCF in IIS, but I can't fix my problem. Note : I debugged it with fiddler in my localhost, everything just worked fine, I saw all my site transaction, except a button which is responsible to access Data over WCF, fiddler didn't log that.   • Codeigniter deny access to directory of controllers with apache config

    I’d like to restrict access to a folder of controllers that are used for admin purposes only. I’ve tried a number of ways and not coming up with a solution. These controllers are behind password protection. But, I’d like to just remove it from view if someone happens to stumble upon the right directory. Can this be done? I’d rather not do it from htaccess. I have access to the apache config files, so I’d like to handle it there. Does it have anything to do with the way Codeigniter routes? Or, am I just way off?     I want to create some diagrams for some papers. Diagrams will contain some text, e.g. some console output. I need images for using also in html files. There is TikZ so can create images like this: http://www.texample.net/tikz/examples/boxes-with-text-and-math/ http://www.texample.net/tikz/examples/rule-based-diagram/ http://www.texample.net/tikz/examples/scenario-tree/ but as a result I get some ps/pdf files, not images. What's more I want to generate the pictures from text files as I want to track changes in some VCS, any binary files are not suitable for that.
