  • wsdl interoperability problems

    I wrote a .asmx web service which I'm trying to consume from a java client. I'm using axis2's wsdl2java to generate code. But it says that the wsdl is invalid. What exactly is the problem here? It is .net which generated the wsdl automatically after all. Are there problems with wsdl standards, rather the lack of them? What can I do now?     Every language, framework, and library has its own syntax, quirks, and pitfalls. What Program, Game, etc. do you code in order to learn these unique characteristics? How do you decide on what previous programming experience is applicable? I'd imagine that the task would have to be complicated enough to force you to use applicable programming techniques and idioms, but simple enough that it wouldn't take a ton of time.

    I would like to create an light/explosion particle effect using some in built library. I am used to Cocos2D where there are specific classes that you can simply initialize in a certain position and producing a certain particle effect. Is there a way to do so in SDL 2.0 C++? I have found this tutorial but it seems to go for a "build it yoursefl" solution, which is ok but I do not want to re-invent the wheel if someone else has already built it.

I have a Hub and spoke network where the HUB is an ASA Firewall version 8.2 * I basicaly want to allow 2 spokes to be able to communicate with each other.     Behavior 1: Verify that the WMP playlist is clear of all songs. Turn on the "Shuffle" and "Repeat" features. Double-click on a music track in the Library. Click the "Next" button (double right angle brackets). A random song from any track in the Library is randomly chosen and played. When observing the Playlist (clicking the "Play" tab), the entire contents of the Library appears in the Playlist. Behavior 2: Verify that the WMP playlist is clear of all songs. Turn on the "Shuffle" and "Repeat" features. Double-click on a music track in the Library. Click the "Next" button (double right angle brackets). The button visually depresses like it has registered the click, but nothing happens. Absolutely nothing. Moreover, the "Previous" button is grayed out. When observing the Playlist, only the one song that was double-clicked appears in the Playlist. What causes Behavior 2? I cannot correlate any specific action I've taken with Behavior 2, and Behavior 1 has been the case as long as I can remember, all the way back to Windows XP. Even earlier during my usage of Windows 8, I recall Behavior 1 working correctly. But suddenly, inexplicably, without changing any settings in WMP, Behavior 2 kicked in, and persists after reboots. I've tried sfc /scannow in an administrator prompt. All system files are in order. I've downloaded all Windows Updates and driver updates. I've attempted to alter WMP options and playback settings to no avail. So... what is causing Behavior 2? Is this an intended, valid behavior, or is something malfunctioning? How would I know what that "something" is? How would I go about fixing it without just reinstalling Windows 8 fresh?

    I have noticed many Mac applications sort the files alphabetically rather than by type. A good example would be Coda by panic.com. The files in the file menu are organized alphabetically. I requested for them to add the feature to organize files by type, and they've said that it's a Finder thing. So I looked at other applications to see if they were organizing by type. I noticed Dreamweaver CS4 had this same problem and now including Dreamweaver CS5. There has to be something in the Mac that does this and that I can modify. I played with Spotlight and it now displays its files by type (thinking that's what I can do) but it didn't take effect in other applications. What library are these applications using to display a file menu for their files?

    Hello I seem to be having a problem while connecting to a Ubuntu Server while connecting via ssh. When I login, I get this error. Could not chdir to home directory /home/username: Input/output error It seems like my home folder is corrupt or something. I cannot ls in the home folder directory, and in my usename directory, I can't cd into this. As root I cannot ls in the home directory as well or in any directory in Home. I notice as well when I save in vim or quit, it get this error at the bottom of the page E138: Cannot write viminfo file /home/root/.viminfo! Any ideas?   • iTunes Title Bar is Equal to the Location of the Library file?

    I have never been able to get a clear answer on why the latest edition of iTunes does this. I have my entire iTunes library located in C:\itunes\ and the library data files inside C:\itunes\!library_info for backup purposes. However when version 9 of iTunes came out it went from having iTunes as the title, to !library_info. Anyway to get around this without moving my data files away? Annoying "feature" if that is what it is. Again Apple support and forums were of no help to me. Anyone have insight on this?     i have noticed many mac applications sort the files alphabetically rather than by type. a good example would be coda by panic.com the files in the file menu are organized alphabetically, i requested for them to add the feature to organize files by type and they've said that its a finder thing. so i went in search to look at other applications to see if they were organizing by type i noticed dreamweaver cs4 had this same problem and now including dreamweaver cs5. there has to be something in the mac that does this and that i can modify. i played with spotlight and it now displays its files by type (thinking thats what i can do) but it didnt take affect in other applications. what library are these applications using to display a file menu for its files?

    I want to use munin to make a graph of ttyACM0 in Linux, but munin can not create the graph. I found some information in "munin-node.log". it shows that "Service 'temperature' timed out".   • Compression for custom mime type works on IIS 7.5, but not IIS 7.0?

    I've managed to set up compression for a custom mime type on IIS 7.5 with no problem. Add the mime type to IIS then add it to the httpCompression element in applicationHost.config. But when I do the same thing on IIS 7, the particular mime type is never compressed. This isn't a problem with compression in general since other mime types are compressed correctly. As far as I can tell, IIS 7 and IIS7.5 are configured in exactly the same way. Does IIS7 behave differently and do I need to do something else to get it working? I've setup failed request tracing and get a NO_MATCHING_CONTENT_TYPE error during compression but I can't figure out what else I need to do to tell IIS about my mime type

So, is it safe to format this with, say ext4 and mount it? Also, when I tried to mount /dev/sd5, it gave me this error: mount: unknown filesystem type 'LVM2_member' I assume it is NOT save to reformat this. If I'm wrong, then that would be great, because I could save some space. Please let me know either way. Thanks in advance! There, user can select which category want to see with some <input type="radio">'s. But those selectors are under the same container (a <section>) and give visibility for the elements via CSS using a general sibling combinator (~). However, then I go to "root" or "netroot" recovery options, it tells me: Give root password for maintenance (or type Control-D to continue) Clearly, I do not know the root password. If I type Control-D, I return to the list of options. From this page I read: Under chapter 'The Other Way': 4. Highlight the line that begins kernel and press 'e' to edit But in the grub configuration file I have no line that starts with 'kernel'. Only: setparams 'Ubuntu...' recordfail set gxfpayload... insmod part_msdos insmod ext2 set root=... search --no-floppy... linux /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.38... initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.... Those are all lines in my grub. Which line should I edit? Or is there another way to reset my password?

    Hi, My project is running fine, but its requirement for some DLLs means it cannot be simply dragged and dropped by the end user. The DLLs are not loaded when put side by side with my executable, because my executable is not an application, and its location is not in the few locations where Windows looks for DLL. I already asked a question about how to make their loading happen. None of the suggestions worked (see the question at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2637499/how-can-a-win32-app-plugin-load-its-dll-in-its-own-directory) So I am now exploring another way: get rid of the DLLs altogether, and link with static versions of them. This is failing for the last of those DLLs. So I am at this point where all but one of the libraries are statically linked, and everything is fine. The last library is the standard C library for mySQL, aka Connector/C. The problem I have may or may not be related with that origin. Whenever I switched to the static library in the linker additional dependency, I get the following errors (log at the end): 1- about 40 duplicate symbols (e.g. _toupper) mutually between LIBCMT.lib and MSVCRT.lib. Interestingly, I can't control the inclusion of these two libraries: they are from Visual Studio and automatically included. So why are these symbol duplicate when I include mySQL's static lib, but not its DLL? Click on the PreCode Snippet plugin add copy/paste your code into the windows. Make sure you select “PRE” and the Language that you are using. It should look similar to the following screenshot.  After you finish editing the post, hit publish and your code should look nice and neat like the example shown earlier.
