Weight doesn't work in a custom android component

ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException with custom Android Adapter for multiple views in ListView

I am attempting to create a custom Adapter for my ListView since each item in the list can have a different view (a link, toggle, or radio group), but when I try to run the Activity that uses the ListView I receive an error and the app stops. The application is targeted for the Android 1.6 platform. WordPress: Using custom field to define posts to display in loop

Hi, I'm trying to use a custom field in which I input the post ID numbers of the posts I want to show, seperated by commas. For some reason though, only the first post of the series of the post IDs are displaying. Can someone help? The value of $nlPostIds is (minus the quotes): "1542,1534,1546". hi there i have created a custom aspx page whithin my sharepoint site with a sql server connection to a database on that server to select data when i view the page it works but when another user tries to view it it gives the following error : Server Error in '/' Application. Login failed for user 'GRINCOR\GuguK'. Description: An unhandled exception occurred during the execution of the current web request. Please review the stack trace for more information about the error and where it originated in the code. Exception Details: System.Data.SqlClient.SqlException: Login failed for user 'GRINCOR\GuguK'. Source Error: The source code that generated this unhandled exception can only be shown when compiled in debug mode. To enable this, please follow one of the below steps, then request the URL: Add a "Debug=true" directive at the top of the file that generated the error. Example: <%@ Page Language="C#" Debug="true" % or: 2) Add the following section to the configuration file of your application: Note that this second technique will cause all files within a given application to be compiled in debug mode. Weird Rails URL issue when rendering a new action

I am rendering a new action but somehow getting the "index" URL. To be more specific, my create action looks like this: class ListingsController < ApplicationController def create @listing = Listing.new(params[:listing]) @listing.user = @current_user if @listing.save redirect_to @listing else flash[:error] = "There were errors" render :action => "new" end end end When there are errors, I get the "new" action but my URL is the index URL - http://domain.com/listings Anyone know why this would happen? WPF: How to properly override the methods when creating custom control

Hi, I am creating a custom control Toolbox that is derived from ItemsControl. This toolbox is supposed to be filled with icons coming from the database. RoR custom routing/Method/View problem all methods come back as undefined

I am playing with custom view and routes. I think that I have everything right but obviously not. Essentially I tried to copy the show method and show.html.erb but for some reason it will not work. Custom RadioButton image not filling space

Hi guys, I have a custom radiobutton with a 9-patch image as background. I use a Selector to determine the background. I also have some text i want to put over the background of the image, but the text is aligning next to the button. Hello All, I'm probably overlooking something that will be obvious when I see the solution, but for now... I am attempting to use a custom cursor inside the chart area of a Toolkit chart. I have created a ControlTemplate for the chart, and a grid to contain the cursors. I show/hide the cursors, and attempt to move the containing Grid, using various Mouse events. The cursor is being displayed at the correct times, but I cannot get it to move to the correct position. CommandBinding broken in inner Custom Control when nesting two Custom Controls of the same type.

I've done a Custom Control in form of a GroupBox but with an extra header which purpose is to hold a button or a stackpanel with buttons at the other side. I've added the a Dependency Property to hold the extra header and I've connected the customized template. Everything works fine until I put one of these controls in another one. Now the wierd stuff begins(at least in my eyes xP), the command binding in the inner control simply isn't set. I tried to use Snoop to gather some data, the see if the inherits is broken and when I clicked on the buttons which isn't doing what I want it to, boom, breakpoint triggered. So in some wierd way the Command isn't set until something that I don't know what it is, happens, which snoops triggers. I've also tried to put the buttons in the regular Header property and that works fine, but not with my own made. I could just switch places with them to make it like I want but now I'm curious to know where the problem lies... Now I wonder, what can I've missed? CastClassException on Custom View

When I try to findViewById() on my custom view I keep getting a ClassCastException. I've tried so many things that I'm sure I've botched the code now! To make sure I'm not going insane I stripped down the classes to their bare minimum inorder to find what was wrong. I'm new to android programming and I'm sure I'm missing something basic. Very Strange behavior in custom dataGrid

Hi everybody, I asked this question already in a former post, but nobody could answer this question correctly. So I try to post the problem again, to make sure it's not a bug. I have a dataGrid with a custom itemRenderer. Everytime I tab at least two times on the dataGrid, the cell below the one I taped gets selected. This doesn't happen if I uncomment the code in the method saveBackDataGridContent()! The second problem is that if the Line is shorter than the entered text, a horizontalScrollBar will get active, although I set setStyle("horizontalScrollPolicy", "off");... Who can solve that one? Custom validation works in development but not in unit test

I want to validate that at least one of two columns have a value in my model. This does exactly what I want. It works perfectly when I manually test it in the development environment but when I write a unit test it breaks my test environment. The third overloaded method does it client-side via the viewmodel. The first two overloads can be done when you have no requirement to add complex JSON objects to your lists. Trouble deciding how to add popup menu to eclipse plugin using either action ObjectContributions or command handlers

The issue is this: Most things I read on the web says that we should avoid actions when creating popup menus because the command framework allows for more decoupling. Example: http://wiki.eclipse.org/FAQ_What_is_the_difference_between_a_command_and_an_action%3F Fair enough. But I am having a heck of a time getting the command framework to add my menu when I right click on a .java file inside the editor, and only when I click inside the editor. I can get the menu to show (using 'with' and the activeEditor variable), but it also shows when I right click on the java file inside the package explorer, which I don't want. I suspect it's because the file is already open inside the editor. I also have a menu that gets added when I right click on the java file inside the package explorer, using IComplilationUnit. That works fine. So my problem is solved using a popup menu action for when I click inside the file. I also get access to to all the ISelection stuff there. But the coupling is to high and I lose the flexability of using handlers. I'm looking for either: Tell me I'm doing it the only way possible; or Tell me how to have my popup appear only when I right click on the java file editor. RegardsRead the article

Im getting a ClassCastException if i use Attributes in my Custom Headline Tag. Without Attributes rendering works fine. Calling <t:headline value="test" /> gives a ClassCastException even before a Method in my HeadlineComponent or HeadlineTag-Class is called. <t:headline /> works fine. I want to use custom action filter to manipulate parameters to one action. I am trying to secure a controller action to prevent a user from accessing an Entity that they do not have access to. Using custom request and custom redirect with Contact Form 7

I have several sites that I want to link back to the main site which hosts the contact form (using contact form 7). I would like to capture the request parameter "site-url" on incoming links to the contact form. Then when the user submits the form, I would like to redirect them back to the site specified in the site-url. Any ideas if this is possible with contact form 7? I would also like to add a special field in the contact form which would insert the site-url into the email that i get so that I know which site they were referred from.Read the article
