• How to set up WebLogic 10.3.3. security for JAX_WS web services?

  I have quite simple task to accomplish - I have to set up the security for web services ( basic authentication with hardcoded in WLES user id and password). I set the web.xml (see code fragment below) but I have tough time configuring WebLogic. I added IdentityAssertionAuthenticator Authentication Provider, set it as Required, modified DefaultAuthenticator as Optional and I went to deployed application's security and set the role to "thisIsUser" and at some point it worked, but not anymore (I redeployed war file and set web service security the same way but no avail.) • CSS file in a Spring WAR returns a 404

  I have a J2EE application that I am building with Spring and Maven. It has the usual project structure. Here is a bit of the hierarchy. MyApplication src main webapp WEB-INF layout header.jsp styles main.css I want to include that CSS file in my JSP. I have the following tag in place. <c:url var="styleSheetUrl" value="/styles/main.css" /> <link rel="stylesheet" href="${styleSheetUrl}"> When I deploy the application, the CSS page isn't being located. When I view the page source, the href is /MyApplication/styles/main.css. Looking inside the WAR, there is a /styles/main.css. However, I get a 404 when I try to access the CSS file directly in the browser. I discovered that the reason for the issue was the Dispatcher Servlet mapping. The mapping looks as follows. <servlet-mapping> <servlet-name>Spring MVC Dispatcher Servlet</servlet-name> <url-pattern>/</url-pattern> </servlet-mapping> I imagine the Dispatcher Servlet doesn't know how to handle the CSS request. What is the best way to handle this issue? I would rather not have to change all of my request mappings.

• Using placeholders/variables in a sed command

  I want to store a specific part of a matched result as a variable to be used for replacement later. I would like to keep this in a one liner instead of finding the variable I need before hand. when configuring apache, and use mod_rewrite, you can specificy specific parts of patterns to be used as variables,like this: RewriteRule ^www.example.com/page/(.*)$ http://www.example.com/page.php?page=$1 [R=301,L] the part of the pattern match that's contained inside the parenthesis is stored as $1 for use later. So if the url was www.example.com/page/home, it would be replaced with www.example.com/page.php?page=home. So the "home" part of the match was saved in $1 because it was the part of the pattern inside the parenthesis. I want something like this functionality with a sed command, I need to automatically replace many strings in a SQL dump file, to add drop table if exist commands before each create table, but I need to know the table name to do this, so if the dump file contains something like: ... CREATE TABLE `orders` ... I need to run something like: cat dump.sql | sed "s/CREATE TABLE `(.*)`/DROP TABLE IF EXISTS $1\N CREATE TABLE `$1`/g" to get the result of: ... DROP TABLE IF EXISTS `orders` CREATE TABLE `orders` ... I'm using the mod_rewrite syntax in the sed command as a logical example of what I'm trying to do. Any suggestions?

• Soap 1.2 Endpoint Performance

  I have a Client WCF Host Service SOAP 1.2 Service setup and i'm having performance issues on the SOAP Java proxy. I have no control over how the Java service is setup, aside from the endpoint config. I have the Client running Asynchronously, and the host WCF service running in Async pattern, but i see the SOAP 1.2 proxy bottlenecking and handling the requests in a Synchronous way. Can someone take a look at the auto-generated SOAP 1.2 configuration below, from the SOAP 1.2 Service wsdl? Is there a way to configure this for Async way and improve performance? • How to track a projects extraneous quirks

  Hello, It's possible that the answer to this question may just be standard bug tracking software like jira or fogbugz, but I'm kind of hoping someone out there knows a better system for what I'm describing. My most current project is requiring a lot of setup quirkiness to get into a position where I can actually start a coding section. For example: A series of convoluted internal company commands before I can insitgate an SSH. Making sure any third party classes that make external calls have internal company proxy options setup - while also making sure these setting wont be set up when installed on a production environment Making sure the proxy is set before trying to install pear packages. Other similar things, mostly involving internal IT security and getting it to work with modules and packages. Individually none of these things is a huge deal, and I've written extensive notes to myself regarding exact commands and aditions I've made, but they're currently in a general text document and it's going to be hard to remember exactly where what I need is far down the line. We also have several new staff starting soon and I' rather give them an easier time of setting up their programming environments. Like I said, they aren't 'programming quirks' exactly, but just the constant fiddling that comes about before programming starts in earnest. Any thoughts on the best way to documents these things for my own and future generations sanity?

The problem is in the pipe among the input stream (readable) and output stream (writable) when we have a async module before (in this case the setTimeOut timing). The pipe doesn't work and nothing is sent to dummy server in 8083 port. Maybe, when we have a async call (in this case the setTimeOut) before the pipe call, the inputstream change to a state "not readable", and after the async call the pipe doesn't send anything. This is just an example...we test it with more async modules from node.js community with the same result (ldapjs, etc)... We try to fix it with: - request.readable =true; //before pipe call - request.pipe(proxy_request, {end : false}); with the same result (the pipe doesn't work). Can anybody help us? What I'm wondering is how do I access these word objects to update the frequency? As part of this project, I need to only have one unique word, and increase the frequency of that word by the number of occurrences in the dictionary. • Parsing an XML string containing "&#x20;" (which must be preserved)

  I have code that is passed a string containing XML. This XML may contain one or more instances of &#x20; (an entity reference for the blank space character). I have a requirement that these references should not be resolved (i.e. they should not be replaced with an actual space character). Is there any way for me to achieve this? Basically, given a string containing the XML: <pattern value="[A-Z0-9&#x20;]" /> I do not want it to be converted to: <pattern value="[A-Z0-9 ]" /> (What I am actually trying to achieve is to simply take an XML string and write it to a "pretty-printed" file. This is having the side-effect of resolving occurrences of &#x20; in the string to a single space character, which need to be preserved. The reason for this requirement is that the written XML document must conform to an externally-defined specification.) I have tried creating a sub-class of XmlTextReader to read from the XML string and overriding the ResolveEntity() method, but this isn't called. I have also tried assigning a custom XmlResolver.

So I have two prolems: What's wrong here?   Hello, I am having a problem with jquery going a bit too far on pattern matching of CSS classes and IDs. I have some markup that looks like this: <div id="blah"> <div class="level2"> <input type="text" /> </div> <div class="levelA"> <div class="level2"> <input type="text" value="foo"/> </div> </div> </div> <input type="text" value="bar" /> I want for the 3 inputs to say Hello Foo Bar so I have this line of jquery: $('#blah .level2 input').val('hello'); the problem now is that jquery is a bit too liberal in it's pattern matches and matches both the first and second. Clarification #2: this script creates simple division spoiler. .tabulaScriptum is spoier's body, .tabulaNomen is spoiler's name and button which, in turn, reveals(or hides) .tabulaImpleo on click.
